Lucas Nogueira (concussion) will play tonight; Patrick Patterson (knee) ruled out
Nogueira will play in tonight’s game against the Phoenix Suns after clearing the concussion protocol. Nogueira had missed the last two games due to a concussion and blurred vision, and he could possibly replace Norman Powell in the starting lineup with Patrick Patterson still sidelined with a knee injury. If Nogueira draws the start, he would become an elite option for his price tag on the main slate. Even if he doesn’t start, Nogueira is more than worth a look in tournaments on a minuscule two-game slate.

Luol Deng (wrist) will play today; Brandon Ingram starts at PG for the injured D'Angelo Russell
Deng will play and start in today’s game against the Dallas Mavericks after previously being listed as questionable on the Lakers’ injury report with a sprained right wrist that had forced him to miss two consecutive games. Brandon Ingram will remain in the starting lineup at point guard in place of D’Angelo Russell and is a fine value option at small forward considering he’s averaged 34 minutes per game in his last two games replacing Deng as a starter. Add that to the fact he will be running the point with the first unit, he provides an outstanding floor in addition to a newly found ceiling in recent games.

Johnson has officially been listed as questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Golden State Warriors due to a strained left shoulder that forced him to miss Saturday’s win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Johnson has been the primary player off the bench for Miami along with James Johnson, and with his potential absence, there would be a huge hole to fill behind Goran Dragic at point guard with Josh Richardson still sidelined with an injury. Okaro White should soak up some backup point guard minutes in combination with Dion Waiters taking over some ball handling responsibilities when Dragic is off the court. However, the absence of Johnson really would just raise the minute floor of Dragic, vaulting him into elite play status on Monday’s slate.
As reported by: Shandel Richardson Anthony Davis (quad) questionable for Monday
Davis has officially been listed as questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers after missing Saturday and Sunday’s practice. The Pelicans do not believe the injury to be anything serious, and Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry believes that Davis will be able to suit up for Monday’s contest. If Davis were to be ruled out for some reason, Terrence Jones would become one of the top value options on the slate at power forward.

Griffin has officially been upgraded to doubtful for tomorrow’s game against the Atlanta Hawks after previously being listed as out on the Clippers’ game notes. Griffin is nearing a return despite the doubtful designation, so we will certainly need to keep a close eye on his status for Monday. The players that will take the biggest hit to their daily fantasy value upon Griffin’s imminent return are Raymond Felton and Marreese Speights, as both players will be relegated to reserve roles off the bench.
As reported by: Dan Woike Gary Harris (ankle) and Darrell Arthur (knee) now questionable tonight; Danilo Gallinari (ankle) probable
Harris has been upgraded, while Arthur has been downgraded to questionable for tonight’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Harris was previously reported as being ruled out for Sunday’s contest. Harris told reporters today that he will be returning “soon”, meaning we may not want to take a whole ton of credence in his status upgrade. Out of pure speculation, it would seem that both players are likely to be ruled out later in the day. The Nuggets are already without Emmanuel Mudiay (back), so Jameer Nelson, Will Barton, Kenneth Faried, and even Jamal Murray will become great options should Harris and Arthur eventually be ruled out. As for Gallinari, he has been listed as probable with an ankle injury for what seems like the 32nd game in a row, so he is fully expected to suit up and play his normal allotment of minutes.

Fournier will not play in today’s game against the Golden State due to a sore right foot that has now forced him to miss five consecutive games. C.J. Watson will draw the start at shooting guard once again, replacing Fournier and the also injured Jodie Meeks. Watson should be expected to continue handling a majority of the minutes at shooting guard, however, he is a volatile daily fantasy option that doesn’t realistically possess an attainable ceiling. D.J. Augustin will also absorb some of the vacated shooting guard minutes on top of his normal backup point guard role, and he saw 27 minutes Friday off the bench. According to our CourtIQ tool, Augustin owns a positive 3.7% usage rate differential (25.1%) with Meeks and Fournier off the court this season. Meaning, Augustin is an intriguing value play on today’s slate, despite coming off the bench, and should see at least 25-28 minutes of action at an affordable 3.6K on FanDuel and $4.0K on DraftKings.

Livingston will be rested and won’t play in today’s game against the Orlando Magic. This is the second occasion this where Livingston has been held out for rest. Look for Ian Clark and Patrick McCaw to each pick up some extra minutes in his absence. However, neither will see enough of a boost in minutes to become viable options if the matchup with Orlando stays closer than expected. With that said, they could possibly be considered as long-shot tournament dart throws on the All Day and Early slates in hopes that the game gets out of hand before the fourth quarter.

Speights will start at power forward in tonight’s game against the Denver Nuggets, sending Raymond Felton to the bench to assume a reserve role. This is likely a matchup-based lineup decision by Clippers head coach Doc Rivers in an effort to matchup with Denver’s length in the frontcourt. Speights is a fantastic option on the late slates, as anytime he can be guaranteed minutes, his likelihood of exceeding value exponentially increases given his elite fantasy point per minute production.

Love will play and start in tonight’s game against the San Antonio Spurs after previously being listed as questionable on the Cavaliers’ injury report with a sore lower back that forced him to miss Thursday’s win over the Phoenix Suns. Given the less than ideal matchup with San Antonio and the added risk associated with Love’s return from a back issue, he is better reserved as a tournament option than a cash game staple on tonight’s slate.

Anderson will not play in tonight’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies after being limited to just nine minutes in Friday’s loss to the Golden State Warriors due to an illness that has now forced him to miss three of the Rockets’ last four games. Sam Dekker will draw the start at power forward and immediately becomes an intriguing tournament option on a slate ripe with value, as the Grizzlies tend to struggle against power forwards that can stretch the floor. However, with Anderson off the court this season, James Harden (41.6%) and Eric Gordon (29.1%) both own a usage rate differential north of 3.6% and are obviously fine options on Saturday’s slate, along with Dekker, despite the less than ideal matchup with Memphis.

Maker and Dellavedova will be inserted into the starting lineup for tonight’s game against the Miami Heat. The news of Dellavedova taking over for Malcolm Brogdon isn’t all that surprising since Brogdon had really excelled in that sixth man role earlier in the season. However, Maker starting over Jabari Parker is certainly suspicious. Originally, it was presumed that Parker would be getting the night off, but Bucks head coach Jason Kidd confirmed that Parker will play and he is just being disciplined for violating team rules. Many daily fantasy players will be tripping over themselves to roster Maker, but proceed with caution, as there is a strong likelihood that Maker just plays the first rotation with the starters and gives way to Parker the rest of the way. For that fact, Parker is now set up to be a fantastic tournament option.

Noah will be available to play in tonight’s game against the Phoenix Suns after previously being listed as questionable on the Knicks’ injury report with a sprained left ankle that had forced him to miss two consecutive games. Despite his return from injury, Knicks head coach Jeff Hornacek was noncommittal to keeping Noah in the starting unit, as he hinted that Kristaps Porzingis could start at center and Carmelo Anthony at power forward. This would mean that Hornacek is possibly leaning towards keeping Mindaugas Kuzimskas at small forward. Stay tuned for the Knicks confirmed starting lineup because it certainly seems like there could be some changes.

Hamilton will be rested and won’t play in tonight’s game against the Charlotte Hornets. The Nets continue to rest players consistently, as their season has long been over in terms of winning. Trevor Booker will return to the starting lineup after being rested for Friday’s tilt with the New Orleans Pelicans. Additionally, Sean Kilpatrick will start at shooting guard for the injured Joe Harris. Now that he’s been confirmed in the starting lineup, Kilpatrick makes for an intriguing tournament option at shooting guard for an affordable price tag across the industry, though he still continues to compete for minutes with rookie Caris LeVert and Bojan Bogdanovic, limiting his ceiling in some regards.
