Deyonta Davis (foot) available to play tonight
Davis is available to play in tonight’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder after being sidelined for the Grizzlies’ previous 14 games with plantar fasciitis in his left foot. Davis was not an integral part of the Grizzlies’ rotation prior to his injury and should not be expected to see consistent minutes barring an injury to another member of the Memphis front court. His return to the Grizzlies’ active roster has little to no impact on the rest of the rotation.

Brandon Rush starting for Zach LaVine (hip) tonight
LaVine will not play in tonight’s game against the Houston Rockets after previously being listed as questionable on the Timberwolves’ injury report with a left hip contusion he sustained in Monday’s win over the Dallas Mavericks. As expected, Brandon Rush will draw the start at shooting guard in LaVine’s place. In the previous game LaVine missed this season, Timberwolves head coach Tom Thibodeau decided to start Nemanja Bjelica at small forward and slide Andrew Wiggins up to the two spot, so it appears he may be going in a different direction in an effort to better matchup with Houston defensively. According to our CourtIQ tool, Wiggins leads the Timberwolves with a significant 7.2% usage rate differential (37.0%) with LaVine off the court this season, making him a near must play in every format given his price tag and matchup.

Gordon will not play in tonight’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves after previously being listed as doubtful on the Rockets’ injury report with a sprained left big toe that has now forced him to miss two consecutive games. No members of the Rockets’ primary rotation see a substantial boost in usage without Gordon on the floor, but there should theoretically be more shots available for the supporting cast of Ryan Anderson, Trevor Ariza, and Patrick Beverley. As usual, James Harden remains an elite option in all formats and may even take on a larger scoring load without Gordon’s scoring punch available off the bench.

Tomas Satoransky (illness) ruled out for tonight
Satoransky will not play in tonight’s game against the Boston Celtics due to an illness that has now forced him to miss the Wizards’ last two games. Satoransky hadn’t seen the court for four consecutive games prior to this illness, so his absence has little to no impact on the Washington rotation.

Mickey will draw the start alongside Al Horford in the Boston front court for tonight’s game against the Washington Wizards. With Tyler Zeller also ruled out, it seems that Celtics’ coach Brad Stevens is aiming to keep Kelly Olynyk and Jonas Jerebko in their normal roles off the bench, though both players should be expected to see a substantial increase in playing time, as Mickey should be a starter in name only. It’s difficult to imagine Mickey seeing much more than 15 minutes of action in this contest, making Olynyk and Jerebko the preferred value big men to target from this Celtics squad.

Bradley, Zeller, and Brown will not play in tonight’s game against the Washington Wizards after previously being listed as questionable on the Celtics’ injury report with separate ailments. Marcus Smart will remain in the starting lineup at shooting guard in Bradley’s absence,as expected. With Amir Johnson also ruled out, Jonas Jerebko is the likeliest candidate to draw the start at power forward alongside Al Horford with Kelly Olynyk being the first big man off the bench. Olynyk should also be the largest beneficiary in terms of playing time despite his reserve role, making him the preferred value play in the Boston front court. According to our CourtIQ tool, Horford leads the Celtics with a 5.0% usage rate differential (27.6%) with Johnson and Bradley off the court this season putting him firmly in play as well.

Rose will play and start in tonight’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers after missing the Knicks’ previous game due to personal reasons. Rose is nothing more than a tournament play on Wednesday’s slate given the added risk of a possible benching, as Knicks’ head coach Jeff Hornacek has not held back on benching Rose in the fourth quarter in recent games even before this week’s fiasco. On the other hand, Rose will go extremely low-owned in a great matchup with the Sixers’ back court defense, meaning he is the epitome of a high-risk, high-reward play in tournaments.

Kuzminskas is likely to play in tonight’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers after missing the Knicks’ previous game due to an illness. His expected return to the rotation should hinder the playing time of Lance Thomas and Justin Holiday at least to some extent.

Trevor Booker was unable to play last night for the Nets. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson started in his place and was actually a viable play. Booker is expected to return after his one-game absence, so RHJ will likely be too risky to trust. Jeremy Lin has been out for some time now and has no timetable for return. Look for another update regarding the Nets tomorrow.

Serge Ibaka was unable to go through shootaround but is hopeful to play tonight. Jeff Green would likely start if Ibaka is ruled out but no official word has been given at this time. Elfrid Payton was able to participate in shootaround but did not have a status upgrade. With the Magic playing in Los Angeles, there is a chance we won’t get any news before lineups lock.
