Damian Lillard (ankle) doubtful for Monday; Evan Turner (ankle) and Al-Farouq Aminu (back) listed as probable
Lillard has been listed as doubtful on the Trail Blazers injury report with a sprained left ankle for tomorrow night’s game against the Toronto Raptors. Assuming Lillard is eventually ruled out, Allen Crabbe is the likeliest candidate to draw the start at shooting guard in his place, while C.J. McCollum would slide over to point guard and be the primary ball handler and facilitator for Portland. With Lillard off the court this season, McCollum unsurprisingly leads the Trail Blazers with a 6.3% usage rate differential (34.5%). Needless to say, McCollum would be an elite option in all formats for Monday’s slate should Lillard be unable to give it a go.

Raymond Felton starting for Chris Paul (hamstring) tonight
Paul will not play in tonight’s game against the Dallas Mavericks after previously being listed as questionable on the Clippers’ injury report with a strained left hamstring he suffered in Thursday night’s win over San Antonio. In his absence, Raymond Felton will draw the start at point guard, while Paul Pierce will remain in the starting lineup for the injured Blake Griffin. Despite coming off the bench, Austin Rivers still remains very much in play in all formats, as he leads the Clippers with a 5.2% usage rate differential (23.8%) with Paul and Griffin off the court this season. While Rivers is obvious beneficiary of Paul’s absence, expect Jamal Crawford and Marreese Speights to also see extended run off the bench. Along with Felton and Rivers, the aforementioned duo are certainly viable tournament options on the late slates this evening.

Korver is a late scratch from the lineup for tonight’s game against the Denver Nuggets after falling ill upon his arrival to the arena. With Tim Hardaway Jr. already ruled out, there is a plethora of minutes to go around on the wing for the likes of Kent Bazemore and Thabo Sefolosha, only further cementing their status as elite plays on the late slate. In addition, Taurean Prince will likely absorb a majority of the backup wing minutes vacated by Korver and Hardaway Jr. and makes for an intriguing tournament flier on the late slates across the industry.

Dedmon and Murray will start at center and point guard respectively in tonight’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers for the resting Pau Gasol and Tony Parker. First off, Murray is not in play in any format, as he is a starter in name only and will give way to Patty Mills early and often. As for Dedmon, he is arguably the best punt center option on the late slate in a plus matchup with the Trail Blazers front court, who are one the worst rebounding teams in the league. Provided Dedmon gets the minutes (which is likely), he should have no problem exceeding value across the industry this evening.

Stauskas will not play in tonight’s game against the Phoenix Suns due to a right knee contusion. In his absence, Hollis Thompson is the likely beneficiary of additional minutes off the bench, while Robert Covington figures to see his minute floor raised in a matchup that figures to be tightly contested. In the only previous game Stauskas had missed, Covington played 35 minutes. Needless to say, he is a fine option on the late slates in a pace up game against the Suns.

Hood will play in tonight’s game against the Toronto Raptors after previously being listed as questionable on the Jazz’s injury report due to an illness that caused him to miss the previous game. He is expected to replace Joe Ingles at the starting shooting guard spot. With Dante Exum and George Hill already ruled out, Shelvin Mack remains the value play to target on Utah, while Gordon Hayward and Rudy Gobert remain in play as they normally are on a nightly basis.

Humphries will draw the start at center for tonight’s game against the Denver Nuggets in place of the injured Dwight Howard. This move sends Kyle Korver back to the bench to resume a reserve role for at least one game. Humphries is not a viable option tonight, as he is extremely unlikely to see more than 20 minutes despite the starting nod. This is knock to the projected fantasy outlook of Mike Muscala, but other than that, this Hawks rotation can be targeted as normal on the late slates across the industry.

Cunningham will be reinserted into the Pelicans’ starting lineup at small forward for tonight’s game against the Miami Heat, sending Solomon Hill back to the bench to resume a reserve role. Neither Cunningham or Hill were viable options in daily fantasy this evening, though the lineup change is noteworthy, as Cheick Diallo could see some extended time at power forward with the second unit. If you’re looking for a pure tournament punt at power forward in the turbo slates, Diallo could be your guy.

Casspi is available to play in tonight’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves after previously being listed as questionable on the Kings’ injury report due to an illness that caused him to miss the previous four games. There has yet to be any official word who will draw the start at small forward for the injured Rudy Gay, though Casspi and Matt Barnes are the most likely candidates. Barnes started the previous two games, so Kings head coach Dave Joerger’s decision likely will come down to the relative health of Casspi, and whether or not, he believes Casspi is ready to handle a starting workload in his return.

Justin Hamilton starting for Trevor Booker (rest) tonight
Hamilton will draw the start at power forward for tonight’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers in place of a resting Trevor Booker. This news is a buzzkill to the Anthony Bennett revenge narrative truthers (yes, their existence was shocking to me as well), but he was never realistically in play given the plethora of value at the power forward position this evening. With that said, it’s also difficult to imagine Hamilton being a viable option, as he is essentially a poor man’s version of Kevin Love and should give Love no problems on either end of the floor. Jeremy Lin remains the only realistic tournament play, if targeting a Brooklyn Net, though the back-to-back scenario is certainly worrisome considering the high probability of a blowout in a matchup with Cleveland.

Beasley will be available to make his return to the rotation for tonight’s game against the Washington Wizards after being sidelined for the Bucks’ previous four games due to a sprained left foot. Beasley’s availability will directly effect the playing time of Mirza Teletovic and is enough to remove him from fantasy consideration entirely. With that said, Beasley is not in play this evening either.

Green will play and start in tonight’s game against the Detroit Pistons after a one-game absence from the lineup due to the birth of his child. Green has the rare double narrative this evening (if you’re into that kind of thing), as he is a Michigan native and alumni of Michigan State University, and a proud father of a new baby boy. If that doesn’t make you want to take a stroll down Narrative Street, I don’t know what will. Oh, and, for what it’s worth, the matchup isn’t terrible either.

Jones will not play in tonight’s game against the Miami Heat after previously being listed as questionable on the Pelicans’ injury report due to an illness. Jones’ absence doesn’t do a whole lot to move the needle of anyone in the New Orleans rotation, though we should expected Anthony Davis to have an even higher minute floor than normal, as the Pelicans really lack another backup power forward besides Jones. Davis is firmly supplanted as an elite tournament option this evening.

Leuer will be inserted into the Pistons’ starting lineup for tonight’s game against the Golden State Warriors, sending Tobias Harris to the bench to assume a reserve role. This move is more a bump to the projected fantasy outlook of Leuer than it is a knock to the value of Harris, as he should be the focal point of the second unit on offense and plays extremely well alongside Ish Smith. Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy prefers to keep a tight rotation, so both power forwards will remain fantasy viable going forward. As for tonight, Leuer deserves consideration in all formats despite the difficult individual matchup with Draymond Green, while Harris is better utilized in tournaments.
