Cody Zeller minutes to be limited

Hornets coach Steve Clifford said Cody Zeller will play limited minutes tonight against Milwaukee, although he didn’t specify exactly how many minutes Zeller would be able to play. Frank Kaminsky (foot strain) has already been ruled out, so realistically there are ample frontcourt minutes to go around, though it’s difficult to project if Roy Hibbert or Marvin Williams will be able to take advantage in what is likely to be one of the slowest pace matchups on the slate.

Andrew Harrison

Golden State Warriors
10/26/16, 7:21 PM ET

Andrew Harrison and James Ennis starting for Memphis

Harrison played alongside Mike Conley for a majority of the preseason, so the news of his start for the season opener isn’t all that surprising. With Tony Allen and Chandler Parsons sidelined for this game, Harrison and James Ennis are both viable tournament punt plays, though it’s difficult to recommend them for cash until we get a better idea of Memphis’ rotation

Luke Babbitt

Luke Babbitt starting at PF, Dion Waiters a SG

Goran Dragic, Dion Waiters, Justise Winslow, Luke Babbitt and Hassan Whiteside will start for Miami against the Magic tonight. Babbitt will split minutes at power forward with Derrick Williams, but both don’t offer much upside tonight.

Lucas Nogueira

Toronto Raptors
10/26/16, 6:01 PM ET

Lucas Nogueira officially ruled out

Nogueira has been officially ruled out for tonight’s home matchup against the Pistons. With Jared Sullinger (foot) still sidelined for an indefinite amount of time, there is plenty of frountcourt minutes to go around. This is a direct boost the fantasy value of Jonas Valanciunas, who has a juicy matchup against Andre Drummond. The Raptors depleted frontcourt situation should also boost the minutes of Patrick Patterson and DeMarre Carroll, who can play spot minutes at power forward when needed.

P.J. Tucker

New York Knicks
10/26/16, 5:26 PM ET

P.J. Tucker (back) expected to be restricted to 10-12 minutes tonight

Tucker will be on a minute restriction after just being cleared to play after rehabbing a back injury that required surgery. The restriction is expected to be in the ballpark of 10-12 minutes off the bench. T.J. Warren should be the primary beneficiary of additional playing time and is likely to receive the start for the Suns in place of Tucker.

Tiago Splitter

Philadelphia 76ers
10/26/16, 5:15 PM ET

Tiago Splitter (hamstring) ruled out for Thursday

Splitter is listed as out on the Hawks’ injury report for tomorrow night’s game against Washington. This shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone, as Splitter has missed all of training camp and preseason. Mike Muscala, Kris Humphries, and Edy Tavares have shared the majority of the backup frontcourt minutes in his absence. However, this news is unlikely to boost the fantasy value of anyone playing behind Dwight Howard in the Hawks’ frontcourt rotation.

Jahlil Okafor

Jahlil Okafor on 12 minute limit for tonight's game

The 76ers big man will be limited to 12 minutes of playing time tonight – he’s not an option for your DFS lineups tonight. Dario Saric is likely the main beneficiary, but Jerami Grant and Richaun Holmes also figure to pick up some of the slack.

Gary Harris and Darrell Arthur out for Nuggets tonight

The Nuggets have announced that two key players in their rotation will miss tonights game against the Pelicans – they are both close and should return soon. The Nuggets will start Emmanuel Mudiay, Will Barton, Danilo Gallinari, Nikola Jokic, and Jusuf Nurkic. Barton normally comes off the bench and is an intriguing DFS option in a game that could be very high scoring.

Lucas Nogueira questionable for tonights game for Toronto

The Raptors big man sprained his ankle in the team’s final sprained ankle and is uncertain to play tonight. Pascal Siakim and Jakob Poeltl would see increased minutes if Noguiera can’t go but both are back ups to Jonas V. and are not viable DFS options.

Jarell Martin

Cleveland Cavaliers
10/25/16, 6:53 PM ET

Jarell Martin (plantar fasciitis) listed as questionable for tomorrow

Martin has been a limited participant in Grizzlies practice, leading to the questionable designation for Wednesday’s game versus Minnesota. If Martin is unable to go, there will be some additional minutes to be had in the Memphis frontcourt with Brandon Wright (ankle) out at least the next 10 days and Marc Gasol’s minutes being managed to begin the year. JaMychal Green could become a popular option on Wednesday with all these extra minutes available in the Grizzlies’ frontcourt.

Emmanuel Mudiay (ankle) listed as probable for tomorrow

Mudiay missed the last couple preseason games with an ankle injury but is expected to start on Wednesday. Jamal Murray was the biggest beneficiary of Mudiay not being in the lineup. With Mudiay expected back we have to temper our expectations of the rookie. Mudiay will have extremely plus matchup against the Pelicans but we are still waiting for the sites to release the prices.

Luol Deng and Timofey Mozgov listed as probable for Wednesday, Jose Calderon doubtful

Lakers coach, Luke Walton, confirmed today that both Deng (leg) and Mozgov (tailbone) will play in Wednesday’s regular-season opener against the Houston Rockets. Deng could possibly provide some value in a paced up game versus Houston, but it’s difficult to project with salaries yet to be released for tomorrow’s slate.
