P.J. Tucker (back) expected to play on Wednesday
P.J. Tucker has been cleared to play on Wednesday and will be coming off the bench behind TJ Warren. Tucker is not a viable fantasy option because he has not played in any preseason games or training camp. Warren should still see about 28 minutes and is a viable option but since prices have not been released, it is tough to gauge his true fantasy value.

As reported by: Ronald Tillery on TwitterWith Kay Felder out; Iman Shumpert to see time at PG
Backup PG Kay Felder is presumably out tonight which means it’ll be Iman Shumpert backing up Kyrie Irving at the position when the Cavaliers take on the Knicks tonight. If Lebron is on the court at the same time as Shumpert (with Irving on the bench), however, it’ll be him doing the majority of the ball handling. Still Shumpert is a viable cheaper option on a small three game slate.

The newly signed big man wasn’t expected to play tonight with a left knee injury and the team has confirmed that he is the only player not available for them tonight when Portland takes on Utah.
As reported by: Tony Jones on TwitterDerrick Favors (knee) ruled out for tonight
This was somewhat expected as he missed all but the first preseason game. Boris Diaw will get the start and should get somewhere in the 20 minute range for the Jazz. Expect Trey Lyles to be the biggest beneficiary as his usage and fantasy production get a boost when Favors (and Gordon Hayward who is also out) are not playing. At just $3,600 on DraftKings and with a safe floor of 15+ fpts, Lyles is one of the few places you’ll be able to find reliable value on opening night.

The Raptors guard/forward has been battling a knee injury all preseason but will be able to play tomorrow when the Raptors open up their season. He’s stuck behind DeMar DeRozan and DeMarre Carroll in the rotation and is not a viable DFS option.

The Hornets second year big man suffered a foot strain and had been wearing a protective boot that he’s now shed. While progress has been made in that department it appears unlikely that he will play tomorrow. Cody Zeller is coming off a bruised right knee and is available for the season opener although his playing time could be limited.

As reported by: Jeff McDonald Other tagged players: Danny GreenLuke Babbitt starting at PF, Wayne Ellington starting over Dion Waiters
Babbitt will start at power forward along with Goran Dragic, Wayne Ellington, Justise Winslow and Hassan Whiteside for tonight’s home matchup with Philadelphia. This is an interesting move by Miami to say the least. There’s not a ton to analyze here, other than get Dion Waiters out of your lineups and Babbitt may be worth a shot as a tournament dart throw.
