Brandon Knight (sports hernia) shut down for the season
Knight has finally been ruled out for the season. Ronnie Price has started the last two games for Knight, playing over 32 minutes in both games. The Hawks are 6th in DvP vs. PGs over the last three weeks, making Price a risky punt play. With eleven games on the slate, there will be other value plays available.

Taj Gibson (fractured rib) likely out for the next 2 games
Gibson has missed the past three games and is expected to be out for the next two. The Bulls will be on the road for the next two games, playing in Memphis and Miami. Bobby Portis has started the past three games but has failed to make an impact, playing about 13 minutes a game. Portis is an extremely low-end play with Nikola Mirotic also healthy. Mirotic played 35 minutes against the Bucks on Sunday, scoring 32 fantasy points. Mirotic is a boom-or-bust option reserved only for GPPs.

The Lakers are looking to finish out their season developing the young players. Williams and Bass have not been officially shut down with the Lakers playing Tuesday and Wednesday. Williams did not play on Sunday and only sees major minutes when Bryant is out of the lineup. With Kobe expected to play in the remaining six games, Williams will likely not have a spot in the rotation. Bass also did not play on Sunday with Tarik Black getting most of the big man minutes off the bench. Black played 19 minutes but failed to make a fantasy impact. Julius Randle becomes an elite option with Bass expected to be out of the lineup.

Wade has missed the past two games but is hopeful to play on Tuesday against the Pistons. Gerland Green started in his place for both games and did exactly what was expected. Green is a boom-or-bust type player that lacks consistency. Green had 43.8 fantasy points in the first start and followed it up with 14.8 the next. Even if Green starts he is a low-end DFS play with eleven games on the slate. Look for an update tomorrow regarding Wade’s status.

Nicolas Batum was injured on Sunday and was only able to play 20 minutes before exiting with a knee injury. Courtney Lee moved over to SF in the second half while Jeremy Lin played alongside Kemba Walker. Lee ended up playing 38 minutes but only had 25.3 fpts. Lee is not a high-end punt play but has played over 35 minutes in four consecutive games. With Al Jefferson not playing on Sunday, Frank Kaminsky and Spencer Hawes split the big man minutes off the bench. Both players failed to make much of an impact and are not to be considered against the Raptors. Marvin Williams continues to see heavy minutes and usage, making him the best option in the Charlotte frontcourt. Check for an update tomorrow on Batum and Jefferson before locking any Hornets into your lineup.

Kobe Bryant will be making his final start against the rival Boston Celtics. Kobe played well against the Celtics earlier (33.8 fpts) this season and deserves tournament consideration at his punt level salary. This is the cheapest he’s been all season, presenting us with a ton of upside. Bryant thrives in games like these but there is still a slight concern that his minutes will be limited. If the Lakers can keep it close, Bryant has a chance to play 30 minutes.

Jae Crowder will return to the starting lineup after sitting the second leg of a back-to-back. Crowder is a strong option with his price ($5,300) at the bottom of the mid-range. He is a strong cash game play and has tournament upside against the Lakers. Evan Turner will stay in the starting lineup but is a better option off the bench.

Ezeli will join the starting lineup after missing 31 games recovering from knee surgery. Ezeli was not given any minutes restrictions but it would be tough to picture him playing more than 15-18 minutes. Anderson Varejao and Mo Speights will also see more minutes with Bogut out of the lineup. All three players are tournament options only with Speights having the highest upside.

Bradley will not be playing against the Lakers on Sunday. Evan Turner will take his place in the starting lineup. Using the CourtIQ tool, we can see with Turner in the lineup it causes Isaiah Thomas’ usage to jump to 30%. Thomas should be considered an elite option with Bradley out of the lineup.The Lakers rank 29th in DRE vs. PGs over the course of the season and are 23rd in DvP vs. PGs in the last three weeks.

Middleton will be missing his first game of the season due to a thigh strain. Damien Inglis will be making his first start of the season. Inglis scored 25.3 fantasy points once in March, making him a low-end option with his salary at a minimum across the industry. He is not expected to have a strong performance against Jimmy Butler on Sunday. With the news breaking so late, it was near impossible to switch Inglis into lineups.

Moore will be making his second consecutive start for Derrick Rose on Sunday. The Bucks are starting Rashad Vaughn against Moore, so there is an opportunity for Moore to take advantage. Moore is a viable tournament target that will not have a heavy ownership percentage. Jimmy Butler has been picking up all the usage with Rose out of the lineup and is the elite option against the Bucks. This is the second night of a back-to-back for the Bulls, making Butler’s injury history a concern.

Rose was going through warmups with a brace on his elbow but will not play. Rose will miss his second consecutive game due to the injury. E’Twaun Moore has been replacing him but has not had a huge fantasy performance yet.

Andrew Bogut’s rib injury is not expected to linger. Bogut’s next opportunity to play is on Tuesday against the Timberwolves. The Warriors have not named Bogut’s replacement yet. Andre Iguodala is doubtful and has missed the last twelve games. Shaun Livingston has been playing down the stretch of games with Iguodala out of the lineup. Livingston is a risky option with the Warriors not resting Curry or Thompson.

Festus Ezeli will be on the active roster against the Blazers. Ezeli has not played since the last week of January, making him a risky low-end play on Sunday. If Ezeli does play, he is not expected to see a lot of minutes as he works his way back from knee surgery. Bogut’s replacement has not been named at this time. We should have an update soon.

Cleanthony Early is starting with Carmelo Anthony resting on Sunday. Early had 18 DKFP against Brooklyn on Friday in 23 minutes. Expect him to play closer to 28 minutes with Anthony ruled out. There is a chance that he struggles with Paul George expected to guard him. The Pacers rank 8th in DvP vs. SFs over the last three weeks, showing us that Early has minimal upside.
