Darren Collison

Los Angeles Lakers
3/28/16, 9:00 PM ET

Kings starters: Collison, Curry, Casspi, Acy, and Koufos

With DeMarcus Cousins, Rajon Rondo, and Rudy Gay ruled out on Monday, the Kings will roll out a new starting five. Darren Collison will replace Rondo, Omri Casspi replaces Rudy Gay, and Kosta Koufos replaces Cousins. All three players are viable options against the Blazers but could also be blown out. The Kings only have nine active players, making it possible all the starters could play over 30 minutes in a competitive game. Willie Cauley-Stein is the only bench player worth considering on Monday.

Kenneth Faried

Houston Rockets
3/28/16, 8:54 PM ET

Kenneth Faried (back) confirmed as the starter tonight

Kenneth Faried will return to the starting lineup after missing six games. Darrell Arthur goes back to the bench and no longer in DFS consideration. Faried had his best game of the season (57 fpts) against the Mavs in an overtime victory earlier this month. Faried’s ownership should be low on the all day slate, making him a nice tournament option.

Markieff Morris

Los Angeles Lakers
3/28/16, 8:29 PM ET

Markieff Morris (calf) expected to be active on Tuesday; Alan Anderson (groin) to be out

Markieff Morris did not play on Sunday against the Lakers due to a calf strain. It seems as if he was able to play but took the precautionary route with the Wizards playing a back-to-back on Tuesday and Wednesday. Morris should only be considered a tournament target against the Warriors on Tuesday. Look for an update confirming his status tomorrow. Nene will go back to the bench and is no longer a viable DFS option. Alan Anderson is expected to miss his fifth consecutive game.

Jusuf Nurkic

Utah Jazz
3/28/16, 8:48 PM ET

Jusuf Nurkic (illness) ruled out on Monday

Jusuf Nurkic will not be playing against the Mavs due to an illness. Joffrey Lauvergne will pick up the backup center minutes behind Nikola Jokic. Lauvergne has put up solid games this season when given over 20 minutes, making him a nice option on Monday. Nikola Jokic has been slumping recently but has not played over 22 minutes in consecutive games. With Nurkic out of the lineup, Jokic should be able to clear 22+ minutes even considering Mike Malone’s erratic rotations.

As reported by: Chris Dempsey Other tagged players: Joffrey Lauvergne, Nikola Jokic

John Jenkins

New York Knicks
3/28/16, 8:27 PM ET

John Jenkins returns to the bench with Tyson Chandler back in the lineup

Joffrey Lauvergne will come off the bench against the Timberwolves on Monday. Jenkins made the most of his two starts and should be considered the next time he is able to start. Tyson Chandler has been starting for most of the season, yet is still a boom-or-bust option. Chandler has an extremely low floor but also has 40+ fpts upside.

Dwight Powell

Dallas Mavericks
3/28/16, 8:22 PM ET

Dwight Powell to replace Salah Mejri in the starting lineup; J.J. Barea replaced by Justin Anderson

Dwight Powell will be making his first start of the season after playing well last night against the Kings. Powell had 23.5 fpts in 16 minutes, making for a viable tournament target on Monday. Justin Anderson will be making his second start of the season, replacing J.J. Barea. Anderson has played well in back-to-back games and should see 22+ minutes tonight. Anderson’s asking price is at a minimum across the industry, making him a nice punt option.

As reported by: Tim MacMahon Other tagged players: Salah Mejri, J.J. Barea, Justin Anderson

Deron Williams

Cleveland Cavaliers
3/28/16, 7:52 PM ET

Deron Williams (groin, abdomen) without a timetable to return

Deron Williams has missed the previous two games and now has no timetable to return. Raymond Felton picked up the slack with Williams out of the lineup last night, scoring over 30 fantasy points for the second consecutive game. Devin Harris also played well against the Kings 27.8 fpts in 21 minutes.

As reported by: Earl Sneed Other tagged players: Raymond Felton, Devin Harris

Jrue Holiday

Portland Trail Blazers
3/28/16, 7:47 PM ET

Pelicans starters: Holiday, Babbitt, Cunningham, Asik, and Ajinca

Jrue Holiday will return to the starting lineup after missing two games. Holiday’s asking price is still at a season-high $8,500 on DraftKings. Holiday’s ownership will likely be low, making him a possible tournament target. In the three games before his injury, Holiday was averaging 45.43 fpts in about 38 minutes. Toney Douglas will come off the bench with Luke Babbitt starting.

Kenneth Faried

Houston Rockets
3/28/16, 7:29 PM ET

Kenneth Faried (back) active and is expected to play on Monday

Kenneth Faried will return to the court against the Mavs on Monday. Faried is a viable tournament target with the news of his return coming so close to the lock. The Mavericks are playing on the second night of a back-to-back, so Faried should be able to take advantage. Faried needs to play over 28 minutes to really exceed value. With Faried back in the lineup, Darrell Arthur is no longer DFS relevant.

As reported by: Chris Dempsey Other tagged players: Darrell Arthur

Tyson Chandler

Houston Rockets
3/28/16, 7:02 PM ET

Tyson Chandler (back) will start ahead of Jon Leuer

Tyson Chandler will join the starting lineup after missing three games due to back spasms. Chandler’s asking price makes it difficult to build a stars and scrubs lineup with so much value available on this slate. Chandler’s return forces Leuer back to the bench, causing him to lose a ton of value. Chandler is a risky play against the Timberwolves on Monday.

As reported by: Kent Youngblood Other tagged players: Jon Leuer

Andre Miller

San Antonio Spurs
3/28/16, 6:58 PM ET

Spurs starters: Miller, Green, Anderson, Aldridge, and Marjanovic

Patty Mills will return to the bench and Andre Miller will start in his place. Miller had 25 DKFP in his previous start for the Spurs, while playing 25 minutes. Miller also 24.5 fpts against the Thunder on Saturday, making him a viable punt option. Expectations should remain low for Miller with Aldridge back in the lineup. Aldridge is an elite target in all formats and will likely be heavily owned.

As reported by: Tom Orsborn Other tagged players: LaMarcus Aldridge, Danny Green, Kyle Anderson, Boban Marjanovic

Josh Richardson

Detroit Pistons
3/28/16, 6:55 PM ET

Josh Richardson starting for Goran Dragic

Josh Richardson will be making his second start of the season with Goran Dragic out. Richardson has been playing extremely well over his last nine games, averaging 25.9 fpts. Richardson is a viable tournament target and should see over 30 minutes against Nets.

As reported by: Jason Lieser Other tagged players: Goran Dragic

Pau Gasol

Portland Trail Blazers
3/28/16, 6:52 PM ET

Pau Gasol and Jimmy Butler to have minutes restriction loosened starting Monday

Pau Gasol and Jimmy Butler are now allowed to play for long stretches of the game. This is good news for Gasol as he has not exceeded value since his minutes restriction. Gasol will look to get on track against the Hawks in a game they must win to stay alive in the race for the playoffs. Jimmy Butler has only played under 30 minutes in 2 of his last eight games since returning from a knee injury. Butler will likely see over 33 minutes, making for a viable tournament target. Still Butler comes with considerable risk, as he has not exceeded value since his return from injury.

As reported by: Cody Westerlund Other tagged players: Jimmy Butler

Zach Randolph

Dallas Mavericks
3/28/16, 6:33 PM ET

Zach Randolph unlikely to play Monday

When asked if Randolph would take the court tonight, Dave Joerger said “probably not” in his pre-game presser. JaMychal Green would be the biggest beneficiary against a shorthanded Spurs team, while Chris Andersen, Jarell Martin and Matt Barnes would also be candidates to see some extra run. There aren’t any “elite” targets on the Memphis side, but Green is looking like the best option at the moment. Green posted 30 FPs back on the 25th when these teams met last, although he did it in just 25 minutes of playing time (Randolph also missed that game).

As reported by: Peter Edmiston Other tagged players: JaMychal Green

Norris Cole

Oklahoma City Thunder
3/28/16, 6:45 PM ET

Norris Cole (back) remains out on Monday

Norris Cole will miss his eleventh consecutive game due to a bad back. Jrue Holiday returns to the lineup and will likely start with the Pelicans dealing with so many injuries. Toney Douglas should also continue to see heavy minutes with Cole out of the lineup. Douglas finally came down to earth in his last game, making for a tough option to recommend with his asking price elevated.
