Thabo Sefolosha (ankle) probable for Wednesday
Thabo Sefolosha is dealing with stiffness in his right ankle but has been listed as probable for the game against the Raptors. Sefolosha was questionable Monday and ended up playing about 23 minutes. Sefolosha was a complete dud, only putting up two points and two rebounds. Sefolosha was playing well before he got hurt, averaging 25.81 DKFP in his last eight games. With a lingering ankle issue, Sefolosha is a risky player to consider on Wednesday’s nine-game slate.

Brook Lopez faces Magic who have struggled to defend centers
Nikola Vucevic will indeed sit out vs. the Nets and has been out now for nearly a month for the Magic. It has really reflected on the defensive end as the Magic are dead last in DvP vs. centers over the last three weeks with Dewayne Dedmon filling in for Vucevic. This is good news for Brook Lopez who has quietly been very productive for the Nets averaging 38 DK points per game. Lopez plays a ton of minutes and has yet to see under 31 minutes over that span of time. He has a lot of potential as he has flashed 50-point upside several times this season. In a match-up with a team that is 30th in DvP vs. centers that has nothing to play for and a backup center, this may just be a night Lopez busts loose.
Ryan Anderson to be reevaluated later this week; Norris Cole considered day-to-day
Anderson will be reevaluated in Philadelphia later this week and it’s very possible that he ends up missing the rest of the season. Norris Cole is in a similar boat, as he’s been listed as questionable for the last 11 games but hasn’t played in any of them. He’s also a candidate to miss the rest of the season. Dante Cunningham will continue to see heavy minutes at PF while Toney Douglas and Tim Frazier will take on any minutes left by Cole.

Jrue Holiday, Alonzo Gee to miss the rest of the season
The injury bug continues to bite the Pelicans hard – both Jrue Holiday and Alonzo Gee have now been ruled out for the rest of the season. We’ll likely see some fresh faces on the Pelicans roster as the regular season winds down, but Toney Douglas and Tim Frazier will eat up the minutes left by Holiday barring the addition of another PG. Luke Babbitt and Jordan Hamilton will both see increased run with Gee on the shelf, with Babbitt being the preferred DFS target between the two. The Pelicans could be a nice source of value as the season winds down given how shorthanded they are.

Pierce is listed as doubtful for Wednesday’s game with the T’Wolves and Thursday’s game with the Thunder. It seems very likely that he’ll miss both games which does slightly raise the appeal of Jeff Green, although the Clippers wing situation is messy in terms of DFS. Expect Green to see between 25-28 minutes with Pierce out, while Wesley Johnson should stay somewhere in the 15-20 range.

Alan Anderson isn’t likely to play tonight after missing today’s shootaround. He hasn’t taken the court since March 19th and his presence doesn’t really hold any DFS relevance.

Morris says he’ll play tonight and it’s looking like he won’t be restricted at all in terms of minutes. He left Friday’s game in the first half and missed Sunday’s game against the Lakers, which allowed Nene Hilario to clear at least 30 minutes in each contest. Hilario is now basically out of play while Morris is a viable GPP target, especially on FanDuel where his price has dropped below $5K. Morris has only played 30+ minutes in two of his last ten games, but has been producing nicely on a per-minute basis with the Wizards.

Updating an earlier report, Nikola Vucevic was ruled out of tonight’s game with the Nets earlier today. It’s still unclear when he’ll return and with the Magic having nothing to play for at this point in the season, they aren’t going to rush him back. Dewayne Dedmon should continue to start at center, and he may see a little more run than usual with Brook Lopez looming. Jason Smith will also continue to see increased run off the bench, as will Andrew Nicholson who has been playing well over Orlando’s last five games (at least 22 FPs in 4 of them).

Rush is listed as questionable for tonight but appears to be a little more likely to play given that it was assumed he’d be listed as probable (as of yesterday) against the Wizards. He’s not a DFS option at the moment and his presence (or lack thereof) doesn’t really impact any of the Warriors fantasy options.

Moore has missed the last six games with a hamstring injury and is questionable for tonight’s game against the Pacers. With Jimmy Butler and Pau Gasol back in the mix, Moore isn’t a viable DFS option even if he does play although he should receive some run as the backup at both PG and SG. We’ll update you on Moore’s status when it becomes finalized before tonight’s game.

Nikola Vucevic's status uncertain for tonight's game
Vucevic did practice yesterday but his status for today’s game is still up in the air. If he is unable to go, the Magic will again turn to Dewayne Dedmon and Jason Smith to man the 5. Both have shown potential in limited playing time but their uncertain minutes make them risky DFS plays. If Vucevic is back, he’ll likely be on a minute restriction and all three would not be viable DFS options even going against the soft defense of Brook Lopez and the Nets. We’ll update you on Vucevic’s status as soon as we learn more.

Oladipo practiced yesterday and Magic Head Coach Scott Skiles stated that he will play tonight when the team takes on the Brooklyn Nets. Oladipo carries a heavy price tag but does have a nice match up against a Nets team that is 23rd in SG DvP and bottom 10 in terms of fantasy points allowed per game. At his price point and coming off an injury, however, there are better options out there – even on a six game slate.

Shumpert took part in the team shootaround and will play for the Cavaliers tonight when they take on Houston. With Lebron James out, Shumpert will likely get the start and is a viable punt option at the SG position on this somewhat small six-game slate. The last time Shumpert played 30 minutes he scored 20+ fpts and he has topped that number four of six times when getting that amount of playing time.

The Mavericks will go with the starting lineup that was originally named earlier. Dwight Powell is replacing Salah Mejri and Justin Anderson is replacing J.J. Barea. Both players are viable tournament targets against the Nuggets. The Mavs will be traveling to Denver on the second night of a back-to-back.
