Eric Gordon under no minutes restriction
Gordon will return to the starting lineup Saturday after missing over a month of action with a finger injury. Gordon isn’t on any type of minute’s restriction tonight against Minnesota. He is a GPP play only tonight, as it’s tough to say how he will play in his 1st game back from injury. With Gordon back, it will hurt the minutes of Norris Cole.

Pau Gasol will get a ton of usage again tonight if Derrick Rose is ruled out
The Bulls are very beat up right now and are just hanging on at this point with all the injuries they have had to endure. Nikola Mirotic, Joakim Noah, Jimmy Butler, and now with Derrick Rose questionable the Bulls will look to Pau Gasol for a lot of their offense. Gasol has a 25.2% usage rate with those four guys off the court according to nbawowy.com, and gets a great matchup vs. the Portland Trail Blazers big men. The Blazers are 20th in DvP vs. opposing centers and Gasol will look to take advantage of that tonight. He has been pretty consistent really over the course of the whole season, but he has posted at least 40 DK points in eight of his last nine games. He has an extremely high floor tonight regardless of whether or not Rose plays, but if Rose is ruled out Gasol gets a significant boost because of the usage that will come his way.
Derrick Rose questionable Saturday
The Bulls have listed Derrick Rose as questionable for tonight’s game against Portland. Rose has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury. If he’s able to play tonight, he would make for a great GPP play as his upside is still very high relative to his price. His ownership would likely be very low because of the injury concern. If he can’t go, basically every Bull will see a little more usage on offense. E’Twaun Moore and Pau Gasol benefit the most with Rose out.

Jerryd Bayless will miss his fifth straight game Saturday with a knee injury, while John Henson hasn’t played in nearly a month. Although he isn’t starting, Michael Carter-Williams should continue to see over 30 minutes which makes him a viable GPP play. Miles Plumlee will continue to start, but Greg Monroe is getting the minutes for the Bucks. Monroe has gone over 40 FD points in two of his last three, and has had a lot of success against the Pistons this season.

Clint Capela is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Spurs. He missed Thursday’s game with a foot injury. Capela was coming off the bench for the Rockets, so his DFS impact was minimal. With Capela out, the Rockets will go with a smaller lineup most of the time. Trevor Ariza should see more minutes at the 4, and Josh Smith could see some extra minutes.

Brandan Wright will be starting tonight over JaMychal Green. Wright should be considered an elite punt option with his salary under $4k on DK. Hopefully, Wright was already in your lineup tonight with the news breaking just minutes before lineups locked.

Tony Allen (knee) ruled out on Friday
Tony Allen will miss another game due to a sore knee and P.J. Hairston will likely start in his place. Hairston was able to light up the Lakers in their previous matchup for 26.5 FPs on DK. Hairston will likely see around 20 minutes tonight and should be able to put up nearly a fantasy point per minute.

Anthony Brown will be starting for Kobe Bryant tonight. Brown is not a DFS option and should not even be considered for your lineups. Jordan Clarkson, Lou Williams, and D’Angelo Russell will all see a significant bump in their value with Bryant out.

Darren Collison will be starting tonight for Rajon Rondo who is out with a thumb injury. Collison is considered an elite punt option tonight and will likely be heavily owned on the late slate. Collison should also be swapped into full slate DraftKings lineups, using the savings to upgrade at other positions.

Jeff Green will start for Paul Pierce tonight
Jeff Green will be starting for Paul Pierce tonight. Green should be considered an elite punt option and should be in your lineups against the Kings. Green is only $5000 on DraftKings, making it really easy to late swap him into your lineup. Green has shown he can score over 45 fantasy points so he should definitely be in your lineups on the late slate.
Kobe Bryant (shoulder) out on Friday
Kobe Bryant has been ruled out of tonight’s contest with a sore shoulder. Look for Anthony Brown to start in his place tonight but he is not a DFS option. Jordan Clarkson is the biggest beneficiary with Bryant out and should be considered an elite option. D’Angelo Russell will remain in the starting lineup and should see over 30 minutes tonight. Lou Williams will also get additional shot attempts tonight and will be the low-owned player from the Lakers backcourt.
Jameer Nelson (wrist) active, not expected to play
Jameer Nelson is on the active roster but will most likely not play tonight. The Nuggets acquired D.J. Augustin and he has been playing down the stretch of close games. Augustin makes for an interesting punt play tonight against the Mavs.

Gasol will play tonight against the Hawks. He’s dealing with an illness but with Derrick Rose out, the Bulls need as much ammo as they can find. Gasol figures to benefit a bunch in terms of usage with Rose out, but it’s worth noting he took only 5 shot attempts in 32 minutes against the Wizards on Wednesday. He’ll see an uptick in that total, and he more than made up for it on Wednesday but racking up 9 assists and 15 rebounds. Given that the Hawks really struggle on the boards, Gasol should be in for a big night.

Derrick Rose (hamstring) ruled out on Friday
Derrick Rose has been ruled out of tonight’s contest with a sore hamstring. Additionally, Rose is at a risk of missing tomorrow’s game if he feels the same after treatment. Tony Snell started in Rose’s place but E`Twaun Moore started as the teams point guard. Pau Gasol is the biggest beneficiary with Rose out of the lineup. Gasol nearly had a triple-double in the Bulls last game, missing out by one assist. Gasol has averaged 46.75 fantasy points on DraftKings over his last three games and should be considered an elite option.

Let’s get this out of the way first, yes the Cavs are 6th in DvP vs. SGs. While it looks like a tough matchup on paper, JR Smith isn’t really known for his lockdown defensive ability. Plus, anytime you can get someone that is a top-ten scorer in the league (DeRozan is ninth at 23.5 PPG) for $7,500 on DK and $8,100 FD, that is a bargain. It is a better value on DK as he is under $8k, but also offers a high floor on FD as well. The problem is that DeRozan relies solely on his scoring to rack up fantasy points, and while he may accrue some peripheral stats here and there, it’s not enough to affect his fantasy score too much. He is a very scoring-dependent player, but he is averaging over 25 points per game in his last ten games including 31 real-life points in their last time out vs. Minnesota. With really none of the top-tier guys available at SG tonight, DeRozan makes for an elite play on either site.
