Zach LaVine to make second consecutive start

Zach LaVine will be making his second consecutive start for the Timberwolves tonight. LaVine saw 38 minutes in his last start and should see over 35 again tonight. He did not shoot the ball that well but was able to pick up five assists and four rebounds. LaVine should play well tonight but may play a couple fewer minutes with Kevin Martin back in the lineup.

2/19/16, 8:49 PM ET

Gerald Green starting for Dwyane Wade tonight

Gerald Green will be starting tonight in place of the injured Dwyane Wade. Wade is nursing a sore knee and will have an MRI tomorrow. Green is a legit late-swap punt option with his salary at $3,800 on DK. Expect Green to play over 30 minutes tonight with the Heat only having 9 players active.

2/19/16, 8:32 PM ET

Andrea Bargnani (illness) ruled out on Friday

Andrea Bargnani has been ruled out of tonight’s contest against the Knicks. Bargnani was not much of a DFS option but his absence will open up some minutes for Chris McCullough. McCullough will like play about 14-16 minutes and is a low-end DFS option tonight.

James Johnson

Indiana Pacers
2/19/16, 8:29 PM ET

James Johnson confirmed as the starter tonight; Norman Powell off the bench

James Johnson will be returning to the starting lineup after missing four games with an ankle injury. Johnson will be and under-owned player with the news coming out after lineups locked. Johnson is only $3,400 on DK and does have a plus matchup against the Bulls. Johnson allows for more high-priced options to fit in your lineup.

Chris Andersen

Cleveland Cavaliers
2/19/16, 7:57 PM ET

Chris Andersen and P.J. Hairston to make Grizzlies debut tonight, Lance Stephenson out

Chris Andersen and P.J. Hairston will be making their Grizzlies debut tonight against the Timberwolves. Both players are expected to play as much as they are able to. While we don’t have concrete minutes set, the team is in flux with so many new players available. Both players are better left off rosters until the rotation is more stable. Lance Stephenson will be missing tonight’s game.

Amare Stoudemire

Miami Heat
2/19/16, 7:37 PM ET

Amare Stoudemire is a punt option at PF tonight

The Heat have just been ravaged by injuries and tonight will be missing Chris Bosh (calf), Hassan Whiteside (suspension), Tyler Johnson (shoulder), Chris Andersen (traded), and Dwayne Wade (soreness). Obviously they are going to need some help from their bench players and the players that do see the floor tonight are likely to log big minutes. Amare Stoudemire will see all the minutes he can handle (literally, he probably can’t handle more than 25 minutes), but given his price and all the injuries/suspensions to the Miami Heat, there may be some merit in rostering him. Amare is getting up there in age, but when Bosh and/or Whiteside are out and he is able to eclipse the 20-minute mark, he tends to churn out some decent games. In the last two games without Whiteside, Stoudemire has put up two double-doubles. There’s not much more you can ask for out of a guy priced at $4,200 on DK. He should be able to hit value tonight and is a viable punt option at the PF position.

Dwyane Wade

Miami Heat
2/19/16, 7:53 PM ET

Dwyane Wade (knee) ruled out for tonight

Dwyane Wade has been ruled out for tonight’s contest against the Hawks. His replacement has not been named but Luol Deng, Goran Dragic, and Justise Winslow all stand to benefit in Wade’s absence. Winslow is the cheapest but Dragic will likely have the highest usage. Look for all three players to get over 30 minutes tonight with the Heat down to nine active players.

Marvin Williams

Milwaukee Bucks
2/19/16, 7:39 PM ET

Marvin Williams (neck) will be starting tonight

Marvin Williams was questionable coming into tonight’s game with a strained neck but will be starting at SF. Williams could be limited making him a tough recommendation on 14 game slate. Look for Jeremy Lamb to get some extra minutes behind Williams tonight.

Kyle Lowry

Philadelphia 76ers
2/19/16, 7:26 PM ET

Kyle Lowry is a great GPP option at PG with a great matchup vs. the Bulls

Kyle Lowry is likely to get overlooked today by the likes of Damian Lillard and Steph Curry, but Lowry has arguably the best matchup on the board vs. the Bulls. The Bulls are atrocious at defending opposing PGs, and with the loss of Jimmy Butler their team defense has gotten even worse as a whole. Lowry has that 60-point upside that can win you GPPs, but at a cheaper price than the likes of Lillard and Curry. By no means are we saying Lillard and Curry are bad plays, but Lowry will likely be very low-owned because if someone is spending up at PG they will likely be paying for one of the top-tier options. Lowry is actually a relatively safe cash game play, as he has a pretty high floor given his price, but he also makes for a great pivot in GPPs with a golden matchup and high upside.

Jerryd Bayless

Minnesota Timberwolves
2/19/16, 7:45 PM ET

Jerryd Bayless (knee) ruled out for Friday and Saturday

Jerryd Bayless sprained his knee in practice on Wednesday and now will miss both games this weekend. Michael Carter-Williams has been coming off the bench for the Bucks and will continue to do so tonight. MCW is a tournament option only against the Hornets and should see about 30 minutes tonight.
