Hassan Whiteside is suspended for the February 19th game against the Hawks

Hassan Whiteside received a flagrant-2 and was ejected from Tuesday night’s loss to the Spurs for elbowing Boban Marjanovic. The NBA has suspended Whiteside for one game, which he will have to serve after the All-Star break. The Heat play the Hawks February 19th, making Amar’e Stoudemire a solid punt option for that game. Expect Stoudemire’s salary to be in the mid-$4k range on both major sites.

Toney Douglas projected starter with Bryce Dejean-Jones not playing tonight

The Pelicans are down to three healthy guards after Bryce Dejean-Jones’ 10-day contract expired. With Pelicans Coach Alvin Gentry persistent on having Jrue Holiday come off the bench, Toney Douglas is in line to start. Douglas is a minimum salaried PG on both major sites and should be considered an elite punt option with only two games tonight. Douglas played 22 minutes last night and had eight points, two assists, two steals, and one rebound. By scoring 16.5 FD/17.25DK fantasy points last night, Douglas shows the potential to exceed value tonight with more minutes. Bryce Dejean-Jones is expected to play after the All-Star break with a contract for the rest of the season.

Wizards injury report for Thursday's game

Four bench players for the Wizards are all game-time decisions/questionable for tonight’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Drew Gooden and Kris Humphries are both ill and questionable while Gary Neal and Alan Anderson (who has been out awhile but appears closer to a return) did not go through shootaround due to some nagging injuries. Of the group, Neal is the only player to keep an eye on for purposes of the two-game DFS slate as he does have some punt value if he does play.

Neal and Anderson didn’t go through shootaround here in Milwaukee. Gooden and Humphries are questionable tonight because of illness.g soon.

Greg Monroe and Michael Carter-Williams to come off bench againt tonight

Bucks Head Coach Jason Kidd will run Monroe and MCW off the bench for the second straight game. It didn’t impact their DFS value last game – in fact Monroe put up one of his best games of the season with a 50+ fpt outing while MCW chimed in with 30+ fpts of his own. On a two game slate both are very much in play.

Reggie Jackson (illness) out on Wednesday

Reggie Jackson was a late scratch due to an illness and Brandon Jennings will start in his place. With the Pistons down to only nine healthy players, expect Jennings to play all the minutes he can handle. If you were able to late-swap Jennings in, he should be able to exceed value on his $3,800 salary.

Derrick Rose and Mike Dunleavy starting tonight

Derrick Rose is back in the lineup tonight after missing one game due to soreness. Rose will be an under-owned option tonight and should be used for tournaments due to his upside. Mike Dunleavy will be making his second start of the season and should be able exceed value on his $3,100 DK salary. Dunleavy will look to play about 20 minutes against the Hawks tonight.

JaMychal Green to start tonight in place of the injured Marc Gasol

Jamychal Green will be starting for the third time this season and is an elite option as a minimum salaried player. Green should be able to exceed value tonight against the lowly Nets. Jeff Green and Matt Barnes will come off the bench, which could limit their upside.

Ray McCallum will start tonight for Tony Parker

Ray McCallum will be starting tonight for the injured Tony Parker. McCallum should only be used in tournaments against the Magic tonight. McCallum has hit 20 FPs when given extended minutes, still it’s Gregg Popovich and there are no guarantees.

Ben McLemore (wrist) has been ruled out again tonight

Ben McLemore will be missing his third consecutive game tonight with a wrist injury. Marco Belinelli will once again start in his place. Belinelli is a decent mid-range play tonight against the Sixers but is a tournament option only due to his scoring dependent fantasy output.

Nerlens Noel (knee) is out, Jerami Grant will start in his place on Wednesday

Nerlens Noel was a late scratch with right knee tendonitis. Jerami Grant will start in his place and is an solid play in both cash games and tournaments. Grant is coming off a game where he scored 36.75 FPs and is averaging 27.33 FPs over his last six games. Grant’s salary is $4,800 on DraftKings and he should be easy to get in your lineups tonight.

Kobe Bryant to start on Wednesday

Kobe Bryant will play and start Wednesday against the Cavs. He’ll face off with his former teammate (and current Cavs coach) Tyronn Lue in his last trip to Cleveland, and he does possess some GPP intrigue given how well he’s been playing. With that said, Cleveland is a solid defensive team and Bryant is still very volatile, so we’d suggest limiting exposure to Kobe and the Lakers in general. The 16-point spread makes all of the starters in this one risky targets.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to play on February 19, first game back from All-Star break

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope expects to play in the Pistons first game after the All-Star break. The Wizards will host the Pistons on that Friday. Caldwell-Pope will likely regain his starting position from rookie Stanley Johnson when he returns. Caldwell-Pope will make for a solid mid-range and under-owned option on a fourteen game slate.

Roy Hibbert (ankle) to start on Wednesday

Roy Hibbert will play and start on Wednesday against the Cavs. He’s not likely to see upwards of 20 minutes and hasn’t been a fantasy contributor for basically the whole season, so he’s not a DFS option. This news also really doesn’t take anyone else out of play, as both Tarik Black and Robert Sacre weren’t going to see big minutes had Hibbert sat out. Julius Randle is the only viable member of the Lakers front-court with Brandon Bass being an option as a dart-throw GPP play given Larry Nance’s absence.

Evan Fournier starting again for the injured Tobias Harris

Evan Fournier will start for Tobias Harris tonight against the Spurs. It’s an awful draw for the Magic as a whole, but Fournier still does provide some GPP appeal given that he’s likely to see 35+ minutes and won’t be the focus of the Spurs defensive attention. Even so, he carries a lot of risk and should be used sparingly in GPPs. Mario Hezonja figures to benefit if this game gets out of hand early.

Zach LaVine to start for Tayshaun Prince tonight

Zach LaVine will start for Tayshaun Prince, who is out due to personal reasons. While this isn’t a great match-up for LaVine, his playing time should lead to him exceeding value, especially on FanDuel where he’s sitting at $4,800. He’s playable in any format tonight and his outlook only improves with Kevin Martin also being ruled out tonight. LaVine should end up with 30+ minutes of court time.
