Steven Adams has been ruled out, Nick Collison to start in his place on Friday
Steven Adams will be out of the lineup tonight due to an elbow strain and Nick Collison will start in his place. Collison is not much of a DFS option and will likely play less minutes than Enes Kanter. With Adams out of the lineup Kanter gets a bump in value playing against a poor rebounding team in the Mavs.
As reported by: Erik HorneDirk Nowitzki confirmed as starting on Friday
Dirk Nowitzki is active and will resume his starting position, sending Charlie Villanueva back to the bench. Dirk will be an under-owned player tonight and would be a decent swap into your lineup against the Thunder. The Mavs will need all the points they can get which means they will likely rely heavily on Dirk.

As reported by: SpursHeat to start: Wade, Winslow, Bosh, Stoudemire, and Johnson on Friday
The Heat have only 9 active players and will start Dwyane Wade and Tyler Johnson in the backcourt. Chris Bosh Amar’e Stoudemire and Justise Winslow will start in the frontcourt. Wade was doubtful coming into the game but should be late-swapped into your lineup if you are able to. Wade usually plays well on a national stage and he also missed the previous game, so he should be rested for tonight.

The Rockets will start Harden and Terry in the backcourt tonight after Terry missed one game. Corey Brewer, Trevor Ariza, and Clint Capela will start in the frontcourt. Brewer will be an under-owned option tonight and should see a ton of minutes if he can stay out of foul trouble. Harden is an elite choice against the Bucks due to the fact Howard is not playing.

Kobe Bryant will play again the Spurs on the 10th anniversary of his 81 point game. Kobe is a tournament option only due to his matchup with Kawhi Leonard. Bryant will likely play under 30 minutes tonight with another game looming tomorrow.
Jason Terry and Montrezl Harrell playing on Friday
Jason Terry and Montrezl Harrel will both be playing off the bench tonight for the Rockets. With both these players available tonight Terrence Jones and Ty Lawson might have a lower ceiling. Both Harrel and Terry should still be avoided tonight on such a large slate.
As reported by: Jonathan Feigen Other tagged players: Montrezl HarrellBeno Udrih confirmed out tonight
Beno Udrih has been confirmed as out for tonight. Tyler Johnson will likely get another start but is a risky DFS play against Kyle Lowry. Tyler Johnson should still see a lot of minutes due to all the injuries on the Heat.

Marc Gasol and Tony Allen are both listed as questionable for Saturday’s game against the Timberwolves. Gasol’s knee injury could cause him to miss his first game of the season. Tony Allen missed last night’s game and is also questionable with knee and hamstring issues. If Allen misses look for Matt Barnes to start again.

As reported by: Ethan SkolnickTaj Gibson and Pau Gasol with a bounce back opportunity vs. the Celtics tonight
The front court of the Celtics is terrible at defending post players, plain and simple. With Joakim Noah out for the season with a shoulder injury, Taj Gibson and Pau Gasol are both in great spots for a bounce back performance after their disappointing showing vs. Golden State. Gibson played only 20 minutes and accrued 16.25 DK points, and Gasol played 24 minutes and scraped up 12 DK points. The Warriors love to play small and Chicago challenged them by giving rookie Bobby Portis an extended run, leaving Gasol and Gibson on the bench. It didn’t help that it was a 30-point blowout, but because of that performance, both will likely be under-owned tonight because DFSers will be scared away with their last game. The Celtics front court is one of the best units to target and Gibson and Gasol should see their normal allotment of minutes in the mid 30s again tonight. Target both with confidence tonight as they have been playing well as of late before their last dud performance.
Other tagged players: Pau GasolJeremy Lamb available to play tonight vs the Magic
Jeremy Lamb will be available to play tonight after missing four games with a toe injury. Lamb is a tournament option only and is a risky play with so many other good SGs on the board tonight. Lamb was playing well before his injury but still has been inconsistent his entire career.
Jimmy Butler (illness) plans to play on Friday
Despite dealing with an illness, Jimmy Butler is expected to play tonight against the Celtics. He’s in a pretty good spot in terms of match-up, as the Celtics tend to give smaller guards a lot of trouble which doesn’t bode well for Derrick Rose. Butler should see plenty of Jae Crowder, who also happens to be dealing with an illness. Butler remains a viable GPP target but his cash game viability does drop some due to the illness.
