The Knicks are starting Jose Calderon, Arron Afflalo, Carmelo Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis, and Robin Lopez in their game against the 76ers today. Porzingis and Anthony are the two players to target from the Knicks as the 76ers are 30th against SF’s in DvP and 28th against PF’s in DvP. Robin Lopez is also in consideration against a 76ers team that is also last in Center DvP.

Taj Gibson is a viable play with Joakim Noah out
Joakim Noah injured his shoulder in Friday’s game vs. the Mavericks and has been diagnosed with a dislocated shoulder and will be out for four to six months. That leaves a hole in the frontcourt for the Bulls, and both Pau Gasol and Taj Gibson should see a slight bump from here on out. The Bulls play the Pistons tonight and while the Pistons are pretty solid defensively, Ersan Ilyasova is the main liability for them defensively at PF. Gibson’s numbers have been kind of subpar given his price point, but he should have a slightly bigger role in the offense going forward. Gibson gets a solid matchup and should be able to produce given his new role in the rotation with Noah out for the foreseeable future.

Derrick Favors out again on Monday
Derrick Favors is out for another game and Trey Lyles will start in his place. Lyles has put together three consecutive strong games and a solid mid-range player against the Hornets today. Look for Lyles to secure about 30 minutes and have a chance to exceed value. Lyles is still a GPP play only due to the fact that he has shown the ability to disappear even with extended minutes.

Bradley Beal playing on Monday after resting on Saturday
Bradley Beal will be returning today to the lineup but likely still not starting. Garrett Temple will likely draw the start while Bradley Beal plays on a minutes restriction. Beal’s minutes restriction will keep his ownership levels low but he faces plus matchup against the Blazers. Beal’s salary is expensive and he will need 35 FPs on DK to exceed value.

Lamb will miss another game due to his toe injury and we should see Jeremy Lin over 25 minutes today. Lin is a scorer off the bench for the Hornets so expect double-digit shot attempts and a few assists mixed in. The game between the Jazz and the Hornets has the lowest projected total on the board and will likely yield only a few fantasy factors.

The Wizards have ruled out Porter for another game and Kelly Oubre should start in his place. Oubre finally had a game where he exceeded value on Saturday but Bradley Beal was also out, allowing him a few extra shots. Oubre is still a decent punt option but may struggle against the defense of Al-Faruq Aminu today. Drew Gooden and Kris Humphries were both absent as well on Saturday and have no timetable to return. Nene should see a slight bump in minutes but look for Jared Dudley to play as many minutes as he can handle. Dudley played 41 minutes on Saturday and had 15 points to go along with seven rebounds and four assists.

Ish Smith, JaKarr Sampson, Robert Covington, Nerlens Noel, and Jahlil Okafor will start for the 76ers against the Knicks. Jerami Grant will play and is on a 20 minute restriction. The Knicks are a slightly above average defensive team (top 10 in DvP against three positions and #9 overall in fantasy points allowed per game). Covington is the best play of the group but Smith, Noel, and Okafor are all worth GPP consideration.

The Knicks official Twitter feed has announced that their star SF is available for today’s game against the 76ers. As mentioned previously, it’s an excellent match up for Anthony assuming he can stay on the court (he is not on a minutes restriction per the Knicks Head Coach) as the 76ers are dead last in SF DvP. Derrick Williams and Arron Afflalo will lose some minutes with Anthony back. Afflalo is still a viable GPP play at the SG position but Williams is best left off of your rosters. The Knicks also announced Kevin Seraphin is out – this news has no DFS relevance as Seraphin is a role player who hasn’t topped 15 minutes of playing time in over a month.

After missing the last two games to deal with family matters (his grandfather’s funeral), Mo Williams is available to play today in the Cavaliers game against the Golden State Warriors. It’s not DFS relevant news as Williams has fallen out of the rotation of late (he hasn’t topped twenty minutes of playing time in over a month).

Confirming reports that came out yesterday, Jerami Grant is probable to play today against the Knicks. He’s not a viable DFS option but could cause Robert Covington (who is an option given his recent play) to lose a few minutes of playing time.

Lamb has missed the last two games with a toe injury and is considered questionable for the Hornets game against the Jazz early this afternoon. Jeremy Lin and P.J. Hairston benefit the most if Lamb can’t go but neither are appealing DFS options today against the defensive-minded Jazz. As soon as we learn of Lamb’s official status, we’ll let you know.

Anthony has missed the last two games and is considered questionable for today’s game against the 76ers. Anthony would be worthy of DFS consideration if he does give it a go against a 76ers team that is dead last in the league in SF DvP. If he is unable to go, Derrick Williams would probably benefit the most. Unfortunately, his price has risen to the point ($5,000 on DraftKings and $4,600 on FanDuel) that he’s not a must play like he was the past two games. Arron Afflalo would also benefit from Anthony’s absence. We’ll update you on Anthony’s status as soon as we hear more.

Stauskas missed the 76ers last game with a shoulder injury and will be out again for today’s game against the New York Knicks. Isaiah Canaan is likely the biggest beneficiary of this news and is in consideration as a value play at $3,700 on FanDuel and $3,500 on DraftKings. Canaan got the start last game (with Stauskas out) and put up 14 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and a steal and a block in just over 30 minutes of play.

Jason Terry will start for Patrick Beverley Sunday against the Lakers. Beverley will dress Sunday, but it’s still unclear if he will play or not. You can ignore Terry for your DFS lineups, because he will share time with Ty Lawson. Beverley just missed a game this week. Terry played 26 minutes and finished with 13 FD Points. Lawson played 22 minutes and finished with 13 FD points.

Patrick Beverley doubtful Sunday
It sounds like Beverley might dress, but will only play in an emergency type situation. Jason Terry and Ty Lawson will split the PG duties. Beverley just missed a game this week. Terry played 26 minutes and finished with 13 FD Points. Lawson played 22 minutes and finished with 13 FD points.
