Dwyane Wade to be a game-time decision tonight; Udrih will start for Dragic once again
Dwyane Wade is officially a game-time decision for tonight’s meeting with the Nuggets. Wade will be a nice target if he’s able to suit up given that he’ll take on more of the ball-handling duties (both his and Chris Bosh’s usage rate rises with Dragic out), but if he’s unable to play, Tyler Johnson and Gerald Green will both be elite value plays. Bosh would also become an elite play without Wade.

Mike Conley misses practice Friday, very doubtful for Saturday
Conley wasn’t able to practice today after meeting with doctors multiple times in the last 24 hours, and there isn’t any concrete timetable for his return at this point. Mario Chalmers will continue running the point until he returns, and Chalmers is providing solid value in that role. His price has skyrocketed on DraftKings over the last week, but as of yesterday he was still sitting at a very fair price tag on FanDuel.

If DJ isn’t able to play again on Saturday, Cole Aldrich will be one of the premier value plays of the day. He posted a 19-7-3 line as the starter on Wednesday and he draws a better match-up on Saturday (vs. SAC). The issue with Aldrich is he can pick up fouls very quickly, and that may be a big problem against DeMarcus Cousins. It appears at this point that Jordan is closer to probable than doubtful, so we’d tentatively expect him to play.

In addition to Melo and Porzingis, Jerian Grant’s status is also up in the air after he missed today’s practice. If one or both of these two sit out, Arron Afflalo will become a very strong value target, and the value of Jose Calderon and Robin Lopez will also rise. Lance Thomas will also be in play, but his ceiling is still limited as a starter. Derrick Williams would be the biggest winner here if either Melo or Porzingis aren’t able to play.

Hassan Whiteside is likely to return to the starting lineup tonight after coming off the bench on Wednesday. He’ll be a solid candidate to see 28-32+ minutes and his ceiling is always high when he’s seeing consistent court time. With the backup Heat big men banged up, Whiteside should see as much playing time as he’s able to handle coming off an injury. His match-up against Denver couldn’t be much better.
Nik Stauskas and Jerami Grant doubtful for Saturday's game
Stauskas and Grant have been listed as doubtful for tomorrow’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers. Stauskas has a shoulder contusion and Grant an injured calf. Robert Covington and Hollis Thompson are the biggest beneficiaries if those two sit. We’ll update the status of these injuries tomorrow as tip off approaches.

Jeremy Lamb OUT tonight
The Hornets have announced that Lamb will miss tonight’s game against the Pelicans with a toe injury. Jeremy Lin should be the biggest beneficiary of this news and is an excellent DFS option tonight against a Pelican’s team that is 26th in the league in SG DvP.

Beverley missed the team’s last game due to a family personal matter but took part in team shootaround and will play in tonight’s game against the Cavaliers. Beverley is at a decent price point around the industry but doesn’t have enough upside to be a viable DFS option.

The Wizards forward will miss tonight’s game against the Pacers with an injured hip. With Marcin Gortat and Kris Humphries already ruled out, the Wizards will playing with a thin bench today. Porter’s absence could lead to Kelly Oubre getting another start. Oubre performed well when he was the starter recently and if he does indeed get the start is a legitimate value option on tonight’s slate. The likes of Garrett Temple and Gary Neal should also get additional run. We’ll update you on the status of the Wizards starting line up when it becomes available.

Pacers Head Coach Frank Vogel stated that George Hill missed shootaround and is considered questionable for tonight’s game. With Rodney Stuckey already out, C.J. Miles will start and if Hill can’t go, Monta Ellis would likely get the start at PG. Miles and Hill are both in play against the Wizards. We’ll update Hill’s status as we learn more later today.

Kobe Bryant looks to play tonight in his last game in the bay. TheLakers will take a cautious approach with their iconic star and likely not play him over 20 minutes. Lou Williams and Jordan Clarkson should be able to still generate a good amount of fantasy points with D’Angelo Russell being the sleeper pick in a possible blowout. Larry Nance will also look to build on his strong performance.

Draymond Green to play tonight against the Lakers
Draymond Green will be playing tonight after missing one game resting. Green will be an under-owned late swap option and could help you pivot off of DeMarcus Cousins in a low scoring game. The Lakers are still expected to get blown out but Draymond Green could likely still get a triple-double in 3 quarters. Draymond Green’s return will likely bring Steph Curry’s value and usage down slightly.

Kobe Bryant will try and play tonight against the Warriors. It is likely he does not get many minutes and should be avoided in DFS. If Bryant does end up playing, Jordan Clarkson’s DFS value would take a slight hit. He is likely still a good option but it will be tough to recommend anyone playing in an expected blowout.

Matt Barnes will return to the lineup tonight after missing one game with a thumb injury. Barnes was the starter but lost his spot to Tony Allen due to the injury. Barnes is a risky option tonight in cash games and will be an under-owned option in GPP’s. Barnes may struggle to get his full minutes back, so it is best to avoid this situation until the rotation is more clear.

Zach Randolph will be inserted into the starting lineup tonight against the Pistons. Randolph gets an elite matchup and should be able to dominate Ersan Ilyasova inside. Ilyasova also benefits from Randolph starting and may see more open shots on the perimeter. The Grizzlies are almost back at full health so there is a chance that Randolph’s production might not justify his price.
