DeAndre Jordan out tonight
DeAndre Jordan is out tonight wit pneumonia. The replacement starter has not been named but it will most likely be Cole Aldrich with Hassan Whiteside likely to play for the Heat. Stay tuned for updates.
Other tagged players: Cole AldrichDerrick Favors (back) out Wednesday
Derrick Favors is unlikely to play tonight and Trey Lyles shall continue to start in his place. Lyles is not a great fantasy option and has not done much in Favors absence. Lyles is still a rookie so there is still room for a lot of growth. Rudy Gobert is in the lineup for the Jazz and he will be their best big man tonight.
Anthony Davis plans to return tonight, but is still GTD
Anthony Davis plans to play tonight but will have to go through warmups first before he can officially play. Look for an update near game time.
As reported by: Daniel SallersonNuggets starters: Jameer Nelson, Gary Harris, Danilo Gallinari, and Kenneth Faried
The Nuggets will change their lineup again tonight against the Warriors. Emmanuel Mudiay played 38 minutes in his last start but will go back to the bench with Jameer Nelson returning. Danilo Gallinari will likely be the best DFS play for Denver tonight but even then they will likely get blown out.
Quincy Acy still starting with Omri Casspi back in the lineup
Quincy Acy will continue to start even though Omri Casspi is back tonight. George Karl said he liked how Acy defended the pick-and-roll. With Acy in the starting lineup, he will likely have to focus solely on defense with Anthony Davis back for the Pelicans.
Zaza Pachulia a late scratch, JaVale McGee will start in his place
Zaza Pachulia was a late scratch with a sore Achilles. The information came after lineups locked and JaVale McGee will be starting in his place. McGee is a decent play tonight but look for Dwight Powell to play well tonight in what should be a blowout.
As reported by: Earl Sneed Other tagged players: JaVale McGee, Dwight PowellJJ Barea, Raymond Felton, Charlie Villanueva, and Jeremy Evans all starting tonight for the Mavs
The Mavs will be resting their starters tonight and playing Barea, Felton, Villanueva, and Evans. The Mavs play the Thunder so there is a likely hood that they get blown out and the starters are resting in the 4th. Dwight Powell played well the last time all the starters were resting and he makes for a good DFS play tonight.
As reported by: Anthony Slater Other tagged players: J.J. Barea, Jeremy Evans, Dwight Powell, Charlie VillanuevaNikola Pekovic will start at C tonight with KG resting
Nikola Pekovic will be making his first start of the season tonight for the Timberwolves. Pekovic will be limited to about 15-18 minutes, which makes him a tough recommendation in DFS tonight. With so many value plays on the board, Pekovic is a GPP only play against the Rockets.
Jason Thompson will start for Draymond Green tonight
Jason Thompson will be making his first start for the Warriors tonight with Draymond Green resting. Thompson has not played more than 12 minutes this season so it is tough to project what he will do. Jason Thompson is a minimum salaried player on DK so he definitely has some GPP appeal tonight. With the news coming after lineups locked, Thompson would be a good pivot off a chalky value play tonight. Thompson figures to play about 20 minutes with Marreese Speights also getting extra minutes tonight.
As reported by: Rusty Simmons Other tagged players: Marreese SpeightsNene to start again for Marcin Gortat
Nene will make another start tonight for the injured Marcin Gortat. Nene played 20 minutes in the last contest and should see around that many minutes tonight. Drew Gooden has the higher ceiling tonight and will likely be heavily owned due to his explosion in the last game. Both players are great plays against a weak Bucks interior tonight.
As reported by: Washington Wizards Other tagged players: Drew GoodenNikola Pekovic to play tonight with Kevin Garnett resting
Nikola Pekovic will return to the lineup after resting for one game. Kevin Garnett will be resting tonight after playing last night’s game. Pekovic is a GPP play only and a risky one at that. Pekovic will only play about 15-17 minutes tonight and until his minutes restriction is higher, he does not warrant DFS consideration.
As reported by: Calvin WatkinsJared Sullinger starting; Kelly Olynyk back to the bench
Jared Sullinger will move back into the starting lineup against the Pacers, shifting Kelly Olynyk back to the bench. Sully isn’t a great DFS target tonight, but he does have some GPP appeal at $5,500 on FD. He’s an interesting pivot off the more popular plays like Porzingis, Powell and Gooden to be contrarian, but all three are currently projected as better $/point targets. Olynyk is no longer a DFS option.
Jason Terry starting Wednesday
Jason Terry will be starting tonight for Patrick Beverley. Terry should see 28-30 minutes with Ty Lawson playing the rest. Terry is a solid punt play with such a cheap salary. Lawson is also cheap but he is more expensive than Terry and has a lower ceiling/floor due to the lack of projected minutes.
As reported by: Craig Ackerman Other tagged players: Ty LawsonBradley Beal (leg) playing on Wednesday
Bradley Beal will be returning to the lineup tonight after missing sixteen games with a leg injury. Beal will be on a minutes restriction thus removing him from DFS consideration tonight. On such a large slate with tons of value around, Beal is an extremely expensive player with not much upside.
As reported by: WizardsGary Neal playing on Wednesday
Gary Neal will be playing tonight even though he is suffering from the flu. Neal is not much of a DFS option with Bradley Beal returning tonight. Neal has been hot lately but with limited time available on the floor, Neal is best avoided tonight.
