Ed Davis

Cleveland Cavaliers
1/10/16, 4:02 PM ET

Ed Davis questionable Sunday

Davis is questionable to play tonight with a knee injury. If Davis can’t go, that means more minutes for Mason Plumlee and Meyers Leonard. Both really haven’t done much as of late. Of the two I would only think about using Plumlee as a GPP play only tonight.

Ryan Anderson

Houston Rockets
1/10/16, 3:34 PM ET

Ryan Anderson will start for Anthony Davis

With Anthony Davis missing Sunday’s game , Ryan Anderson will start in his place. Anderson makes for the top value play on Sunday’s slate. He is only $5,900 on DK and $5,500 on FD. With Davis only playing 3 minutes on Friday, Anderson finished with 38 FD points in 37 minutes.

Anthony Davis

Washington Wizards
1/10/16, 3:29 PM ET

Anthony Davis officially out Sunday

Davis will miss Sunday’s game after leaving Friday’s game early with a back injury. With Davis out, Ryan Anderson will most likely start, and makes for an excellent play. With Davis only playing 3 minutes on Friday, Anderson finished with 38 FD points in 37 minutes. He is only $5,900 on DK and $5,500 on FD. Alexis Ajinca will also see some extra minutes, but is a GPP punt play only. Tyreke Evans will have a uptick in usage with Davis out.

D'Angelo Russell

Memphis Grizzlies
1/10/16, 3:57 PM ET

D’Angelo Russell out Sunday, Kobe Bryant will play

Russell will miss Sunday’s game against the Jazz with an ankle injury, and Bryant will play. Jordan Clarkson, Bryant, and Lou Williams are all coming off pretty good games against the Thunder. Williams had a huge game finishing with 51 FD points. However, that was against the fast paced Thunder, and tonight they have a matchup against the slow paced Utah Jazz. For that reason, all three guards are GPP plays tonight.

O.J. Mayo

Milwaukee Bucks
1/10/16, 12:44 PM ET

O.J. Mayo and Jerryd Bayless will not play Sunday

After playing 35 minutes last game, Mayo will not play today because of a sore hamstring. With him out, Rashad Vaughn will get some extra minutes as well as Tyler Ennis. Both players are fantasy irrelevant until they prove they can produce in the minutes they’re given. With Bayless out, Michael Carter-Williams will once again get all the minutes he can handle. Last game against Dallas, he played 41 minutes and finished with 50 FD points.

Jeremy Lin

Golden State Warriors
1/10/16, 12:08 PM ET

Jeremy Lin questionable Sunday

Lin had a monster game against the Clippers yesterday, but did tweak his ankle during the game. He is considered questionable for today’s game against the Nuggets. If Lin and Nicolas Batum both can’t go that would give a huge boost to Jeremy Lamb. He is coming off a 36 FD point game against the Clippers in 34 minutes. He makes for a very nice value play at just $4,500 on DK and $4,200 on FD.

Omri Casspi

Memphis Grizzlies
1/10/16, 2:47 AM ET

Omri Casspi (back) ruled out on Saturday

Omri Casspi has been ruled out of another game and Quincy Acy will likely start in his place. Acy is a viable punt option but will be tasked with guarding Draymond Green. Green does not draw many fouls but his style of play may lead to Acy seeing extended minutes tonight.

Mike Conley

Boston Celtics
1/10/16, 2:48 AM ET

Mike Conley and Courtney Lee doubtful on Sunday

Mike Conley and Courtney Lee are being listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Celtics. Mario Chalmers and Tony Allen will likely start in their place. Mario Chalmers is coming off a game where he did not exceed expectations, so there is a chance his ownership is down. He faces an elite Celtics defensive team so there is merit to fading him. Tony Allen will face his former team in Boston and will likely be a chalky play due to the fact he exceeded value in his last game. Look for Avery Bradley to return for the Celtics and not allow Allen to dominate his matchup.

Tyler Johnson

San Antonio Spurs
1/10/16, 2:53 AM ET

Tyler Johnson (shoulder) doubtful tonight

Tyler Johnson will be active tonight against the Jazz but will likely not be playing. Johnson has not provided much DFS value but his absence makes Gerald Green a viable play tonight. Look for Gerald Green (33 FPs on DK) to build on his strong game last night.

Chris Johnson

Houston Rockets
1/10/16, 2:54 AM ET

Chris Johnson will start for Rodney Hood tonight

Chris Johnson will be starting for the injured Rodney Hood tonight. Johnson is a GPP play only as the Jazz are playing the Heat tonight. Johnson has been playing well and his salary is still near a minimum price. Johnson has back-to-back 18+ FPs nights so he is a viable punt option.

As reported by: Tony Jones Other tagged players: Rodney Hood

Rudy Gobert

Minnesota Timberwolves
1/09/16, 9:59 PM ET

Rudy Gobert will start on Saturday

Rudy Gobert will return to the starting lineup against the Heat. Gobert is a risky GPP play only going against a good defensive team. Gobert should have a chance to exceed value but his price is still elevated and he could be on a minutes restriction.

As reported by: David Locke

Rodney Hood

LA Clippers
1/10/16, 2:55 AM ET

Rodney Hood and Derrick Favors out tonight

Rodney Hood has an ankle injury and Derrick Favors has been absent for an extended stretch with a back injury. With Hood and Favors out, the Jazz will have to rely heavily on Gordan Hayward and Trey Burke. Both players are not great DFS options tonight against a good defensive team in the Heat.

As reported by: Tony Jones Other tagged players: Derrick Favors

Brandon Bass

LA Clippers
1/09/16, 9:21 PM ET

Brandon Bass questionable Sunday with an eye injury

Brandon Bass suffered an eye injury against the Thunder on Friday and is now being listed as questionable for Sunday. Bass has been playing well lately and has been a solid punt option in DFS. If Bass is unable to go look for Julius Randle and Larry Nance Jr. to split the minutes against the Jazz.

As reported by: Mark Medina Other tagged players: Larry Nance Jr., Julius Randle

Stanley Johnson

San Antonio Spurs
1/09/16, 8:11 PM ET

Stanley Johnson to start for Marcus Morris

Stanley Johnson will be making his first career NBA start tonight. Johnson gets an ideal matchup against the Nets and should be in lineups. Johnson is an elite punt option but will likely be a chalky play on DraftKings as the news broke near the time lineups locked. Johnson has been playing well lately so the minutes bump can really give him a chance to exceed value easily tonight.

As reported by: Keith Langlois

Marcus Morris

New York Knicks
1/09/16, 9:10 PM ET

Marcus Morris ruled out with a knee injury Saturday

Marcus Morris was a late scratch to the lineup with a knee injury. There was no prior details on the injury so it was a surprise that Morris missed tonight’s game. Stanley Johnson will start in his place and makes for an elite punt option, but will be chalky.
