Paul Pierce

LA Clippers
1/02/16, 10:03 PM ET

Paul Pierce out Saturday

The Clippers will rest Pierce on Saturday night. We will have to wait and see who the Clippers start Saturday, but it’s hard to trust any Clippers as value plays. If you want to play anyone from the Clippers just play Chris Paul or DeAndre Jordan. You could even through J.J. Reddick into the mix, but after that the Clippers are a mess.

Tony Allen

Chicago Bulls
1/02/16, 9:54 PM ET

Tony Allen starting Saturday, Zach Randolph to the bench

Allen will return to the starting lineup, while Randolph will head to the bench. Randolph is out of play now for your lineups, and it’s always hard to play Allen, because he just doesn’t do that much. The only play froth the Grizzlies tonight is Marc Gasol.

Derrick Favors

Atlanta Hawks
1/02/16, 9:44 PM ET

Derrick Favors out Saturday

Favors went through shootaround today, but he didn’t feel well enough to play tonight against the Grizzlies. With Favors out, Jeff Withey will continue to start. He has been pretty productive without Favors. In the four games without Favors, Withey is averaging 27 FD points per game. Last game, he played a season high 35 minutes Trey Lyles and Trevor Booker will also get more minutes, but they haven’t done much as of late.

J.J. Barea

Dallas Mavericks
1/02/16, 9:37 PM ET

J.J. Barea still starting Saturday, Deron Williams off the bench

For the second straight game, J.J. Barea will start and Deron Williams will come off the bench. With Raymond Felton also in the mix, this situation is an easy fade.

Norris Cole

Oklahoma City Thunder
1/02/16, 9:05 PM ET

Norris Cole starting for Tyreke Evans

Evans will not play tonight because of knee tendinitis. Starting in his place will be Cole. He makes for a great value play across the board on a night with not a lot of great value. He is just $4,000 on FD and $3,800 on DK. Cole has been playing real well as of late. Over the last two games, he is averaging 28 FD points per game. In both of those games he saw over 30 minutes. Jrue Holiday will also see some extra minutes.

Tyreke Evans

Indiana Pacers
1/02/16, 9:09 PM ET

Tyreke Evans out Saturday

Evans will not play tonight because of knee tendinitis. We will have to see who starts in his place, it will likely either be Norris Cole or Jrue Holiday. Of the two Cole has been playing better as of late, and could make for the better play tonight. Anthony Davis should get a little more usage also.

Devin Harris

Dallas Mavericks
1/02/16, 8:10 PM ET

Devin Harris out Saturday

Harris will miss Saturday’s game with a back injury. With Harris out both J.J. Barea and Raymond Felton will see more minutes. It’s tough to play either of them with Deron Williams back into the lineup.

LeBron James

Philadelphia 76ers
1/02/16, 8:00 PM ET

LeBron James fully expected to play Saturday despite being a little under the weather

James is dealing with some kind of illness, but he still plans on playing Saturday as of now. Before this news James wasn’t really a top target tonight, but this news makes him a GPP play only tonight. If the Cavs get up big, can’t see James playing a lot.

Donatas Motiejunas

San Antonio Spurs
1/02/16, 7:52 PM ET

Donatas Motiejunas out Saturday

Motiejunas will not play tonight will a bad back. This does not change anything at all, don’t play any Rockets tonight unless in a GPP. The Spurs have the best defense in basketball.

As reported by: Jonathan Feigen

Jeremy Lin

Golden State Warriors
1/02/16, 7:44 PM ET

Jeremy Lin starting on Saturday

Lin will start for Nicolas Batum on Saturday. Lin will make for a great GPP play tonight. Not a lot of people will be on him considering he missed the last two games with an injury. Also his minutes may be limited a bit, since he is coming off an injury. He was playing pretty well before he got hurt. Lin is just $5,400 on DK, and $5,300 on FD. With him starting this hurts the value of Jeremy Lamb.

Jeremy Lin

Golden State Warriors
1/02/16, 7:39 PM ET

Jeremy Lin and Spencer Hawes will both play tonight

Both Lin and Hawes will play tonight. Lin could make for an intriguing GPP play tonight, considering if he is close to 100 % he could play a lot of minutes. With Lin playing this hurts the value of Jeremy Lamb. With Spencer Hawes returning this will hurt the value of Cody Zeller and Frank Kaminsky. On a nine game slate just stay away from the Hornets frontcourt. Kemba Walker remains the play for the Hornets tonight.

Lavoy Allen

Washington Wizards
1/02/16, 6:35 PM ET

Pacers Starters: Hill, Ellis, George, Allen, Mahinmi

Even with Ian Mahinmi returning, Lavoy Allen will start tonight for the Pacers. The Pacers wanted to start a bigger lineup against the Pistons tonight. With Jordan Hill also back tonight, Allen is a GPP punt play only tonight. He has been playing well as of late, but his minutes unknown, plus it’s a tough matchup against the Pistons.

As reported by: Indiana Pacers

Ian Mahinmi

Washington Wizards
1/02/16, 6:32 PM ET

Ian Mahinmi will start tonight, Jordan Hill also available to play

After missing last game with an injury Mahinmi will play tonight against the Pistons. Jordan Hill will also return for the Pacers tonight. The Pacers frontcourt is an easy fade tonight with a matchup against Andre Drummond and the Pistons.

As reported by: Indiana Pacers

Nicolas Batum

LA Clippers
1/02/16, 6:44 PM ET

Nicolas Batum is out tonight, Jeremy Lin & Spencer Hawes are game-time decisions

After playing 42 minutes last night, Batum will sit out tonight’s game. Lin will be a game-time decision tonight for the Hornets. If Lin can’t go, Jeremy Lamb will likely slide into the starting lineup. He is just $4,200 on FD and $4,000 on DK. Over his last two games, he is averaging 12 points and 6 rebounds per game. Without Batum, Marvin Williams will get more minutes at the 3. If Spencer Hawes can’t go Frank Kaminsky and Cody Zeller will also see some more minutes .

As reported by: Hornets

TJ Warren

New York Knicks
1/02/16, 5:33 PM ET

Suns using same starting lineup as last game

Jon Leuer will be available to play Saturday, but T.J. Warren will still be in the starting lineup. The Suns had a lot of success with the smaller lineup last game. Warren finished that game with 29 points and 9 rebounds in 41 minutes. Even though it’s tough to predict Warren’s minutes; he is still a very intriguing play. He is just $4,800 on DK and $4,600 on FD. The Kings also play smaller lineups at times, so that will be good for Warren’s minutes.
