Iman Shumpert will play Sunday

Shumpert will play Sunday after missing last game with a groin injury. You can ignore Shumpert for your DFS lineups, can’t see him playing more than 20 minutes especially with Kyrie Irving returning. Also with him playing this could hurt the minutes of J.R. Smith.

Iman Shumpert game-time decision Sunday

Shumpert will test out his groin to see if he can play Sunday against the 76ers. If he does play you can ignore Shumpert for your DFS lineups, can’t see him playing more than 20 minutes especially with Kyrie Irving returning. Also if he plays that could hurt the minutes of J.R. Smith.

Mo Williams

Denver Nuggets
12/20/15, 12:46 PM ET

Mo Williams out Sunday

Williams will not play Sunday against the 76ers, because of a sore thumb. Kyrie Irving will make his return to the lineup after getting hurt in the playoffs. Irving minutes will be monitored. He won’t be ready for your DFS lineups just yet. With Irving returning, this hurts the value of Matthew Dellavedova. Fade the Cavs PGs for now.

Jameer Nelson

Detroit Pistons
12/20/15, 12:42 PM ET

Emmanuel Mudiay out Sunday

Mudiay will miss his 4th straight game Sunday with an ankle injury. Jameer Nelson will once again be a top value play. In his three starts with Mudiay out, Nelson is averaging 12 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds per game. Nelson has a much nicer price on FD at just $4,500. This is a very nice matchup for Nelson against a Pelicans team that doesn’t like to play defense.

Tyler Johnson

San Antonio Spurs
12/20/15, 12:39 PM ET

Tyler Johnson and Josh McRoberts remain out for Sunday

Josh McRoberts and Tyler Johnson will both miss another game for the Heat. They have both been out for a while, so that this won’t change anything in the Heat’s rotation. Gerald Green will benefit with Johnson out. He is a GPP punt play only, last game he did score 20 points, but only finished with one assist. Not one player really benefits with McRoberts out.

Kyrie Irving

Dallas Mavericks
12/20/15, 12:05 PM ET

Kyrie Irving to make season debut Sunday, minutes to be monitored

Irving will play his 1st game of the season Sunday against the 76ers. Cavs head coach David Blatt said they will watch Irving’s minutes really carefully. He said Irving won’t play in long stretches. It will likely be a handful of games before you can think about playing Irving in your lineups. With Irving returning this hurts the value of Matthew Dellavedova.

Jarrett Jack

New Orleans Pelicans
12/20/15, 11:30 AM ET

Shane Larkin out Sunday

Larkin will miss his third straight with a concussion Sunday. With Larkin out, Jarrett Jack has been on fire. Over his last two games, Jack is averaging 24 points, 8 assists, and 5 rebounds per game. In those games he is averaging about 38 minutes per game. Jack makes for a very nice play, and he is still pretty cheap for his recent production.

Tony Allen

Chicago Bulls
12/19/15, 9:04 PM ET

Tony Allen out Saturday

Tony Allen will miss another game Saturday. This means Matt Barnes will once again play a ton of minutes. Barnes is only $4,500 on FD. Last game against Dallas, Barnes had four steals and three blocks. He has had at least 30 FD points in three out of his last four games. This also gives a bump up to Jeff Green and Courtney Lee, but both are very inconsistent.

Jared Dudley

Los Angeles Lakers
12/19/15, 7:36 PM ET

Temple and Dudley starting for the Wizards, Neal and Humphries to the bench

Last game, the Wizards started Kris Humphries and Gary Neal, but tonight both will come off the bench. Starting in their places will be Jared Dudley and Garrett Temple. All these players are GPPs play only, as there minutes have been up and down recently. The plays tonight for the Wizards are John Wall and Marcin Gortat. Kelly Oubre also could make for a nice GPP play.

Otto Porter Jr.

Utah Jazz
12/19/15, 7:31 PM ET

Otto Porter out Saturday, Kelly Oubre will start

Porter will not play Saturday, because of a thigh injury. Starting in his place will be Kansas rookie Kelly Oubre. He makes for a nice punt play on a night with not a lot of value. He is $1,000 over the minimum on both sites. Over his last two games, he has averaged about a fantasy point a minute. Last game against the Spurs, he scored 18 points in 25 minutes.

Joakim Noah

LA Clippers
12/19/15, 7:10 PM ET

Joakim Noah will start for Pau Gasol

As expected Joakim Noah will start in place of the resting Pau Gasol. Despite coming off the bench, Noah has been playing pretty well as of late. Over his last five games, he is averaging 28 FD points per game. He makes for a very nice play across the board at just $4,900 on FD and $5,100 on DK. Nikola Mirotic and Taj Gibson will also get a slight bump up with Gasol out. Bobby Portis may also see some minutes for the Bulls.

Nicolas Batum

LA Clippers
12/19/15, 6:59 PM ET

Nicolas Batum will start, but may be on a minutes limit

Batum will start for the Hornets tonight, but will most likely play limited minutes according to his head coach Steve Clifford. With this news, Batum is an easy fade for your cash lineups tonight. If you want to throw him in a GPP, go ahead. How many times have we seen coaches say players will play limited minutes, and they go out and play their normal amount of minutes? Jeremy Lin also might be worth a look now in a GPP.

Nicolas Batum

LA Clippers
12/19/15, 6:41 PM ET

Nicolas Batum will be available to play tonight

Batum is available to play for tonight’s game against the Wizards. We will have to wait closer to game-time to check if he is starting. If he’s not he is an easy fade, but if he is in the starting lineup he could make for a nice GPP play. Don’t think a lot of people will be on him, with him returning from an illness. With Batum playing this hurts the value of Jeremy Lin.

Nene Hilario

Atlanta Hawks
12/19/15, 6:36 PM ET

Nene and Gooden remain out

Nene and Drew Gooden will miss yet another game for the Wizards. Kris Humphries will start at PF, and Jared Dudley and DeJuan Blair could also see some minutes. Otto Porter could play some PF if he plays. You could use Humphries for a GPP lineup only. He played 29 minutes last game, but only finished with 18 FD points. He is just $3,600 on FD.

As reported by: Jorge Castillo

Otto Porter Jr.

Utah Jazz
12/19/15, 6:23 PM ET

Otto Porter will be a game-time decision Saturday

According to head coach Randy Wittman Porter will be a game-time decision on Saturday. If Porter doesn’t play, Kansas rookie Kelly Oubre will likely get the start. He would make for a very interesting punt play. He is $1,000 over the minimum on both sites. Over his last two games he has averaged about a fantasy point a minute. If Porter does play tonight he is an easy fade.
