Update on Anthony Davis's status
Earlier we’d reported that Davis would play tonight. Recent reports came out that had Davis stating he would play as long as his shoulder doesn’t tighten up. We’ll be monitoring this situation closely and will report once official word has been released.

Jrue Holiday starting
The Pelicans PG will get the start tonight with a 25 minute limit on playing time. This is a slight hit to the value of Ish Smith who has done well when Holiday has sat out but should still see plenty of time on the court due to the minute limitation on Holiday.

The Wizards guard practiced today, which is good news heading into the weekend as it increases the probability that he will take the court. Keep an eye on his status – if he goes, he always makes for a great play at a usually thin SG position.

Pelicans Head Coach Alvin Gentry said that Anthony Davis will play tonight. He participated in the morning shootaround and looked good according to reports. Davis is obviously always in play, especially in GPP’s. His return is a hit on the value of Ryan Anderson.

Despite a sore knee and wrist, Noel will play tonight. He’s always in play in GPP’s due to his high upside from peripheral stats. His return does hurt Jahlil Okafor slightly as the rookie would have gotten an increase in minutes and usage.

Hairston, as expected, is out for tonight while Zeller’s fate will be determined later in the day. Hairston’s absence doesn’t have a huge DFS impact but probably benefits Jeremy Lin the most. If Zeller sits, Marvin Williams will see even more playing time and Frank Kaminsky becomes a value option as his minutes would likely increase.

Shaun Livingston will miss another game, but this is pretty insignificant as Leandro Barbosa has returned and will pick up the backup point guard minutes behind Steph Curry. Even with additional minutes, Barbosa would not make for a good late swap option. Andre Iguodala will get a bump in value with Livingston out. Livingston is also likely to miss Friday’s game against the Bulls.

J.J. Redick ruled out Thursday
J.J. Redick has been ruled out of Thursday’s contest with the Warriors. He has been suffering from a back injury and the Clippers are going to take a cautious approach. Jamal Crawford should see the start in his place and would be a good DFS option tonight. He will likely see over 30 minutes and will get his fair share of shots.

Chris Paul will be playing on Thursday against the Warriors. He has been off for a week to recover from his injured groin. Chris Paul makes his first start in a week, so he makes for a great late-swap pivot. This is a Clippers home game on national TV, so expect a close game throughout.

Mo Williams has been ruled for Thursday’s game, with Matthew Dellavedova taking his place in the starting lineup. Dellavedova makes for an elite punt across the industry with J.R. Smith getting a bump as well. Williams had been suffering with the injury all day so this just confirms the speculation.

The Cavs have not released if Mo Williams will be in the lineup or not. It is all speculation that he will miss the game and Matthew Dellavedova will likely take his place. Nothing has been confirmed, and we will see who they bring out once the game starts.

The Bucks are going to start Michael Carter-Williams, Khris Middleton, Giannis Anth, Jabari Parker, and Greg Monroe. Parker missed one game due to a leg injury but seems good to go tonight. He is on a minutes restriction so look for John Henson to come in and play about 24-28 minutes.

This was announced earlier in the day, but we now have confirmation. Casspi, Gay and Koufos are all solid plays; Gay should see a nice uptick in usage with Cousins out, while Casspi and Koufos provide salary relief on a short slate.

Chris Andersen out Thursday
The Heat have listed Chris Anderson and Jarnell Stokes as inactive for tonight. They missed the last game as well, so none of these players have had a DFS impact. Amar’e Stoudemire would get a little extra time if Whiteside was to get into foul trouble. Chris Bosh remains the elite play at PF with Rudy Gay defending him.
