Both Eddie Royal and Jeremy Langford miss practice Wednesday
Royal (toe) and Langford (illness) we’re not able to get on the practice field today. Royal has been dealing with a toe injury for weeks, but has played the last two games. Without Alshon Jeffery or Zach Miller in the lineup, Royal should see a solid uptick in targets. He’ll likely have Matt Barkley throwing to him though, so it’ll be a challenge for him to be effective with his opportunities. Langford has been relatively quiet since returning to the lineup, averaging 7.5 touches per game over the pas two weeks. We’re expecting them both to play in Week 12.

Tom Brady (knee) didn't practice Wednesday
Specific details surrounding Brady’s injury were not immediately available. The Patriots play the Jets on Sunday, which is a favorable matchup for Brady as New York ranks 30th in pass DVOA. As of now, we’re still expecting Brady to play. We’ll get more information later in the week.

Ingram exited early last Thursday night after suffering a concussion. He’s in the protocol now, but told reporters he isn’t experiencing any symptoms and fully expects to play on Sunday. He practiced today, which is a good sign, but he’ll still need to be cleared by an independent doctor. New Orleans plays the Rams on Sunday and they’re favored by seven points. That sets up a nice game script for Ingram, who had 75 total yards on ten touches before he left in Week 11. He’s splitting duties with Tim Hightower though, which cuts into his fantasy value. They’re probably going to be close to a 50/50 touch share. If Ingram ends up sitting, Hightower would be a strong option. If he plays, it may be best to avoid the Saints backfield entirely.

Diggs (knee) is listed as questionable but Adam Schefter reports he’s “unlikely” to suit up on Thanksgiving. His absence would be an upgrade to Adam Thielen, Cordarrelle Patterson, and Kyle Rudolph. Diggs missed one game earlier this season, Week 5 against Houston. Thielen led the team in targets (8) and posted a 7/127/1 line in that game. Patterson also caught a touchdown, although he had a more modest 4/39/1 line on six targets. Both players will be involved against the Lions tomorrow, who rank dead last in pass DVOA, and both are solid tournament options in Week 12.

Murray (toe) was likely getting a rest day. He should be all set to play on Sunday when the Titans take on the Bears. With Jay Cutler not expected to play, Chicago will struggle to put points on the board. Tennessee should be able to get an early lead and feed Murray the rest of the way. He’s a great running back option again this week.

LaFell is dealing with a knee issue that kept him off the field today. They’re already going to be without A.J. Green and Giovani Bernard, who combined for 41.9% of Cincinnati’s targets this season. If LaFell can’t play Sunday, the Bengals will rely heavily on Tyler Eifert and Tyler Boyd.

Riddick (ankle) has been on the injury report the past three weeks, but played in each game. He’s averaged 95.7 yards per game during that stretch, and he’s had exactly eight receptions in two of three games. Riddick and the rest of the Lions’ offense have a tough matchup with the Minnesota defense on Thanksgiving. The Vikings’ secondary has been excellent, which could actually help Riddick’s value; if they shut down the Lions’ receivers, he’ll pick up plenty of checkdown passes.

After going without a sack in back-to-back games against Miami and New England, Pittsburgh has racked up a whopping 13 sacks over the past three games, eight of which came last week against Cleveland. Not only will Andrew Luck – the only QB to get sacked at least twice in every game this season – not being suiting up, but the Colts have given up the 2nd most sacks in the league (35), just three behind the Browns. Pittsburgh isn’t the most expensive D/ST unit on the board, but they definitely possess the most upside against a leaky Colts offensive line that will be forced to block for backup Scott Tolzien. It’s worth noting that even with last week’s outburst, the Steelers are tied for 19th in sacks on the year, so going heavy on them in tournaments does carry some risk. If you’re looking for a pivot, the D/ST units in the Detroit/Minnesota game are your best bets.
Donte Moncrief added to injury report, questionable for Thursday
It appears that Moncrief tweaked his hamstring in practice today, which isn’t a great sign for tomorrow. He’s officially questionable, and we won’t know if he’ll play or not until closer to game time. Unfortunately, the Colts game is at night, so there’s a chance we won’t have news prior to lock. He’ll have Scott Tolzien throwing to him if suits up though, so he won’t be a great option this week.

Adam Schefter confirms that Luck (concussion) will not play on Thanksgiving when the Colts host the Steelers. This leaves Scott Tolzien as the starting quarterback for Indianapolis. He hasn’t started a game since he filled in for Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay three times back in 2013. He was benched in the third one, but during his two full games he averaged 309.5 yards, 0.5 touchdowns, and 2.5 interceptions. With the Colts entering the game as 8-point underdogs, Tolzien should be throwing quite a bit. While he should be able to rack up yards, the question is whether he can produce more touchdowns than interceptions or not. Given his price and expected game flow, he’s a possible tournament option on Thanksgiving slates. However, he’ll be stuck behind a horrendous offensive line (Football Outsiders ranks them dead last in pass protection) and has a 1:5 touchdown to interception ratio in his career. The Pittsburgh DST is definitely the safer bet and will be a chalky play tomorrow.

Jackson (shoulder) had been limited on Monday and Tuesday. He’s all set to take on the Cowboys tomorrow though. He caught a touchdown last week against the Packers and added 51 yards on four catches. Pierre Garcon and Jamison Crowder both had a touchdown as well, and they both exceeded 100 yards. Jackson has the toughest matchup against Dallas as he’ll face Brandon Carr, who has an excellent 82.8 PFF grade this season. Carr has only allowed 0.29 fantasy points per route run, while Orlando Scandrick (slot) has given up 0.39 and Anthony Brown (LCB) has allowed 0.40. The Redskins are 7-point underdogs, so Kirk Cousins should be tossing the rock a bunch. Given the matchups and the normal target distribution, Jamison Crowder and Pierre Garcon are stronger options than DeSean tomorrow.

The Bills star WR should return to play this week barring any last minute setbacks. It’s a big boost for the Bills offense (LeSean McCoy was also full go in practice) who will likely be missing Robert Woods. They face a Jaguars defense that is middle of the pack in terms of defensive DVOA and pass DVOA.

Jay Cutler not ruled out yet for this week
Bears Head Coach John Fox refuses to rule out Jay Cutler for this week saying instead he is day-to-day. It still appears unlikely that he will play leaving Matt Barkley to man the helm against the Tennessee Titans. While Barkley is not a very good QB, the match up against a Titans defense that is vulnerable to the pass at least puts him on the radar as a value QB option.

Falcons Head Coach Dan Quinn stated Coleman was a full go – he’s likely to return to splitting the work with Devonta Freeman in their game against the Cardinals. It’s a tough match up facing an Arizona team that is 9th in RB Rush DVOA and 2nd in RB Pass DVOA.
