Jake Funk

Jacksonville Jaguars
2/13/22, 5:35 PM ET

LAR RB Jake Funk inactive Sunday

Jake Funk has been listed inactive for the Super Bowl. Funk was expected to serve as running back depth for the Rams but will not be needed Sunday. The Rams will have Cam Akers, Sony Michel, Darrell Henderson, and Buddy Howell all available to play the running back position. Cam Akers is expected to lead the backfield with Sony Michel and Darrell Henderson mixing in. The wild card here is Henderson who was just activated from IR after being injured in Week 16. Henderson is not expected to play a major role for the Rams but HC Sean McVay did indicate that Henderson would be used in some capacity. Cam Akers and Sony Michel should be the Rams running backs considered in most DFS contests but if 150 max entering a sprinkle of Henderson might not be a bad idea as he has the potential to find the endzone and catch a couple of passes out of the backfield.

C.J. Uzomah

Philadelphia Eagles
2/13/22, 5:23 PM ET

CIN TE C.J. Uzomah officially ACTIVE Sunday; WR Trenton Irwin and RB Trayveon Williams inactive

C.J. Uzomah is officially active for the Super Bowl, while Trenton Irwin and Trayveon Williams have been listed inactive. Uzomah will officially be active and should return to his role as the top tight end for the Cincinnati Bengals. If Uzomah were to be limited in any way (though there has been no mention of this), Drew Sample and Mitchell Wilcox will be available to play tight end as well. Uzomah can be considered in DFS contests and has multiple touchdown upside. Trenton Irwin and Trayveon Williams were expected to serve as depth for the Bengals and their absences should have no DFS impact.
