Chris Manhertz has been activated from the COVID list, while Nathan Cottrell and Jeff Cotton Jr. have been elevated from the practice squad ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the New England Patriots. Manhertz should split snaps at tight end with Luke Farrell, though neither is expected to play a big enough role in the offense to be considered in DFS contests. Cottrell is expected to backup Dare Ogunbowale and it remains to be seen exactly how big of as role he will have with James Robinson out for the season. Cotton Jr. is expected to serve as receiver depth and should not be considered in DFS contests at this point.

Marcedes Lewis and Tyler Davis have been activated from the COVID list, while David Moore has been elevated from the practice squad ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Lewis should slot back into his role as the backup tight end to Josiah Deguara and can be considered on the showdown slate as a punt option with touchdown upside. Davis will serve as tight end depth and will likely not see enough work to be DFS relevant. Moore should serve as receiver depth and is also not expected to be DFS relevant at this time.

Pharoh Cooper, Alex Bachman, and WR David Sills have been elevated from the practice squad ahead of Sunday’s game against the Chicag Bears. They will join Kenny Golladay as the only available receivers for the Giants as the receivers are still dealing with a multitude of injuries. Golladay will be the unquestioned primary target with Pharoh Cooper likely to see the most run of the practice squad elevations. Cooper can be considered as a value option but it remains difficult to trust the Giants offense especially with Mike Glennon and Jake Fromm expected to split time at quarterback.

Cyril Grayson and Kenjon Barner have been elevated from the practice squad ahead of Sunday’s game against the New York Jets. Grayson’s role largely depends on the availability of both Antonio Brown and Mike Evans who are both listed as questionable. If either Brown or Evans miss, Grayson would become one of the better value options on the slate based on his performance and usage last week. Barner is expected to serve as running back depth as well as play on special teams. He is not considered to be DFS relevant at this point.

Smallwood is expected to serve as the third running back behind Jaret Patterson and Jonathan Williams this weekend and will likely not see enough work to be considered in DFS contests. Patterson will be one of the better value options on the slate and can be considered in most formats. Gandy-Golden has been a healthy scratch for most of this year so his release is not surprising and should have no DFS ramifications.

Kareem Hunt has been listed questionable for Monday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Hunt seems to be trending towards a return after logging two practices this week. He should return to his role as the change of pace back complimenting Nick Chubb. Chubb should see most of the early down work with Hunt playing a bigger role in the passing game. It is also likely that D’Ernest Johnson has carved out some sort of role in the Cleveland backfield and siphon a few touches away from both Chubb and Hunt. Both Chubb and Hunt can be considered on the showdown slate, with Chubb being one of the better plays on the slate and Hunt as a contrarian option. It will be important to check Hunt’s status when inactives are released 90 minutes before kickoff on Monday night.

Camp and Veasy are both expected to serve as receiver depth with Camp likely to see more snaps and potential targets. Neither receiver should see enough work to be considered DFS relevant.
