CHI RB David Montgomery, RB Khalil Herbert, WR Jakeem Grant, TE Cole Kmet, and TE Jesper Horsted all returned to practice Friday; WR Marquise Goodwin DNP

David Montgomery, Khalil Herbert, Jakeem Grant, Cole Kmet, and Jesper Horsted all returned to practice Friday, while Marquise Goodwin logged another DNP ahead of the Bears Monday night matchup with the Minnesota Vikings. All returning players were dealing with an illness and should be able to return to their normal roles by Monday. Montgomery will lead the backfield with Herbert available to back him up. Jakeem Grant should play a role in the return game as weel as being the number three receiver for the Bears. Kmet should be the primary tight end with Horsted, Graham, and Holtz available to back him up. Goodwin is still dealing with a foot injury, if he were unable to play Grant and Damiere Byrd would play a larger role in the passing game behind Darnell Mooney.

Kevin Rader

New Orleans Saints
12/17/21, 5:58 PM ET

PIT TE Kevin Rader listed questionable for Sunday

Kevin Rader has been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. Rader is not expected to play a major role on Sunday and his absence would not be DFS relevant. Tony Pollard

Tennessee Titans
12/17/21, 5:53 PM ET

DAL RB Tony Pollard listed questionable for Sunday; WR Cedrick WIlson activated from COVID list

Tony Pollard has been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants, while Cedrick WIlson has been activated from the COVID list and is expected to be available. Pollard is still dealing with his foot injury after not playing last weekend, and figures to be a game-time decision. If he is unable to go again this week, Ezekiel Elliott should handle the bulk of the work and snaps in the Dallas backfield with Corey Clement also mixing in. Ezekiel Elliott will become a slightly better play in a good matchup against a lackluster Giants defense. Cedrick Wilson should slot back in as the third or fourth receiver for the Cowboys but doesn’t figure to be DFS relevant at this time.

James Conner

Arizona Cardinals
12/17/21, 5:47 PM ET

ARI RB James Conner and TE Zach Ertz listed questionable for Sunday

James Conner and Zach Ertz have been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions. Conner (and Chase Edmonds for what it’s worth) is expected to play Sunday despite injuring his ankle near the end of last week’s game. He is expected to split time with the returning Chase Edmonds in a game where the Cardinals should be playing with the lead. If Zach Ertz were unable to go on Sunday, the tight end position would be played by Demetrius Harris with Darrell Daniels available to back him up. This is another injury that doesn’t seem to serious and Ertz should be able to play. It will be important to check inactives 90 minutes prior to kickoff to ensure all Cardinals are available

Javonte Williams

Dallas Cowboys
12/17/21, 5:41 PM ET

DEN RB Javonte Williams and RB Melvin Gordon listed questionable for Sunday

Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon have both been listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals but are both expected to play. Williams is dealing with a knee injury but should be in line to see his normal amount of touches against a weaker Bengals run defense. The same can be said for Gordon who is dealing with a hand injury. If either were to suffer a setback the healthy back would instantly become one of the better plays on the slate due to expected volume.

Leonard Fournette

Buffalo Bills
12/17/21, 5:27 PM ET

TBB RB Leonard Fournette listed questionable for Sunday

Leonard Fournette has been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints. Coach Arians said the Fournette is a little sore but believes at this time he should be able to play this weekend. If Fournette were to be limited, Ronald Jones would play a larger role in the offense with Ke’Shawn Vaughn also available to mix in. Fournette would be one of the better plays on the slate if he were healthy in a game that Tampa Bay is expected to be leading. It will be important to check inactives 90 minutes prior to kickoff to ensure his availability this weekend.

Lil'Jordan Humphrey

Denver Broncos
12/17/21, 5:24 PM ET

NOS WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey listed questionable for Sunday; TE Garrett Griffin listed out

Lil’Jordan Humphrey listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while Garrett Griffin has been listed out. Humphrey is expected to serve as the third receiver for the Saints behind Tre’Quan Smith and Marquez Callaway this weekend. If he were once again unable to suit up, the returning Ty Montgomery and Kenny Stills could play a larger role in the offense. Griffin was not expected to play much of a role this weekend so his absence will not be DFS relevant, especially with the possible return of Adam Trautman from IR.

D'Andre Swift

Chicago Bears
12/17/21, 5:15 PM ET

DET RB D'Andre Swift listed out Sunday; WR Josh Reynolds listed questionable

D’Andre Swift has been listed out for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, while Josh Reynolds has been listed questionable. With Swift unable to make his return, it means Jamaal Williams (if activated from the COVID list) will lead the backfield with Jermar Jefferson, Godwin Igwebuike, and Craig Reynolds (if elevated from the practice squad) available to back him up. Williams could be considered in most formats due to expected volume. If Josh Reynolds were to miss Sunday, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Kalif Raymond would be the top options in the Detroit passing game. It would be difficult to do, but St. Brown could be considered in DFS contests due to expected volume in a game the Lions figure to be playing from behind.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling

Pittsburgh Steelers
12/17/21, 5:09 PM ET

GBP WR Marques Valdes-Scantling and WR Malik Taylor listed questionable for Sunday; WR Equanimeous St. Brown listed doubtful; TE Dominique Dafney listed out

Marques Valdes-Scantling and Malik Taylor have been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, while Equanimeous St. Brown has been listed doubtful and Dominique Dafney has been listed out. St. Brown was not expected to play a major role this weekend. If he were to be officially ruled out, his snaps would likely be split between Amari Rodgers and Juwann Winfree, though neither would be DFS relevant. Dafney was also not expected to play a major role as the third tight end behind Josiah Deguara and Marcedes Lewis. His absence would not impact DFS players. MVS’s absence would lead to Allen Lazard and possibly Amari Rodgers seeing more snaps and targets. Lazard would be the better DFS candidate.

Lamar Jackson

Baltimore Ravens
12/17/21, 4:55 PM ET

BAL QB Lamar Jackson, WR Marquise Brown, TE Nick Boyle, and FB Patrick Ricard all listed questionable for Sunday

Lamar Jackson, Marquise Brown, Nick Boyle, and Patrick Ricard have all been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers. Lamar Jackson is currently considered day-to-day with an ankle injury and has yet to be ruled out despite not practicing all week. If he were to miss, Tyler Huntley would draw the start and could be considered as a value option at quarterback in DFS contests. Marquise Brown missed practice with an illness, if he were to be ruled out this week Rashod Bateman and Sammy Watkins would be the top receivers for the Ravens. Bateman would need to be considered in most lineups due to expected volume. Patrick Ricard is still working his way back from injury, if he were unable to suit up this weekend the Ravens would likely forego a fullback. Nick Boyle is expected to serve as tight end depth and his absence would not be DFS relevant.

Adam Shaheen

Miami Dolphins
12/17/21, 4:50 PM ET

MIA TE Adam Shaheen listed questionable for Sunday

Adam Shaheen has been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the New York Jets. The Dolphins have a slew of tight ends available to backup Mike Gesicki and will likely mix and match depending on game script. None of these backups project to be DFS relevant at this time.

Rex Burkhead

Houston Texans
12/17/21, 4:47 PM ET

HOU RB Rex Burkhead and TE Brevin Jordan listed questionable for Sunday

Rex Burkhead and Brevin Jordan have been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. originally Burkhead was ruled out earlier in the week but his status has improved enough where he might be able to suit up this weekend. He would lead the Houston backfield and limit any upside David Johnson and Royce Freeman could have enjoyed in his absence. If Brevin Jordan were to be ruled out due to his hand injury Jordan Akins would step up and split tight end snaps with Pharaoh Brown. Due to the split neither would be advised in DFS contests.

Tyler Higbee

Los Angeles Rams
12/17/21, 4:42 PM ET

LAR TE Tyler Higbee placed on COVID list

Tyler Higbee has been placed on the COVID list ahead of Tuesday’s game with the Seattle Seahawks. If Higbee were unable to be cleared in time for the game next week, it would be a repeat of what we saw against the Cardinals. Kendall Blanton would play the bulk of the snaps but the Rams receivers would see most of the targets. There is still a lot up in the air with the Rams Covid cases so we probably won’t have a full idea of who is available until Sunday or Monday.

Emmanuel Sanders

Buffalo Bills
12/17/21, 3:16 PM ET

BUF WR Emmanuel Sanders listed doubtful for Sunday; RB Taiwan Jones listed questionable

Emmanuel Sanders has been listed doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers, while Taiwan Jones has been listed questionable. Sanders is not expected to be able to play this weekend which likely means more targets will go to Gabriel Davis and Cole Beasley making them stronger plays. If Taiwan Jones were to be unable to suit up this weekend Zack Moss (who has been a healthy scratch two of the last three weeks) should be active and serve as the third back for the Bills
