NYJ WR Corey Davis downgraded to doubtful for Sunday

Corey Davis has been downgraded to doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans. Davis is dealing with a groin injury and was originally expected to play but is now considered a longshot. With davis likely out, Elijah Moore and Jamison Crowder will be the top two receiver for the Jets with Keelan Cole also slated to play a role. Elijah Moore is worthy of consideration after he has impressed the last few weeks and gets an uptick in expected production with Davis likely out.

TEN FB Khari Blasingame activated to 53-man roster from IR; WR Cody Hollister elevated from practice squad for Sunday

Khari Blasingame has been activated to the 53-man roster from IR and Cody Hollister has been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots. Blasingame will help in the depleted backfield with Jeremy McNichols already being ruled out, though Blasingame is not expected to play a major role. The bulk of the carries should be handled by Dontrell Hilliard and D’Onta Foreman. The severely depleted receiving corps of the Titans will get another member with Hollister being elevated. Hollister should play as the number four receiver for the Titans behind Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Dez Fitzpatrick, and Chester Rogers.

Ricky Seals-Jones

Indianapolis Colts
11/27/21, 3:18 PM ET

WAS TE Ricky Seals-Jones listed doubtful for Monday; WR Curtis Samuel listed questionable; TE Logan Thomas expected to be activated and play

Ricky Seals-Jones has been listed doubtful for Monday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks while Curtis Samuel has been listed questionable. The writing was on the wall for Seals-Jones as he was unable to log a practice this week, however it does seem like Logan Thomas should be able to make his return. Thomas should serve as the primary tight end for Washington but could be on a limited snap count meaning more work for John Bates. Curtis Samuel is also expected to make his return and be on a snap count as well, limiting his upside and that of the other Washington receivers outside of Terry McLaurin whou should continue to dominate the target share.

Ben Skowronek

Pittsburgh Steelers
11/27/21, 12:31 PM ET

LAR WR Ben Skowronek downgraded to out for Sunday

Ben Skowronek has been downgraded to out for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers. Skowronek was expected to be the fourth receiver for the Rams behind Cooper Kupp, Van Jefferson, and Odell Beckam Jr. so his his absence doesn’t figure to be too DFS relevant. The top three receivers could see a few more snaps with J.J. Koski likely playing the fourth receiver role now.

CLE RB Kareem Hunt activated to 53-man roster from IR, expected to play Sunday; WR JoJo Natson elevated from practice squad for Sunday

As expected, Kareem Hunt has been activated to the 53-man roster from IR and is expected to play Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. Hunt is expected to reclaim his role as the change of pace back to Nick Chubb and should be expected to see most of the passing down work for the Browns. JoJo Natson has been elevated from the practice squad and is expected to serve as receiver depth. He should not be considered DFS relevant at this point, even on a showdown slate.

D.K. Metcalf

Pittsburgh Steelers
11/26/21, 7:18 PM ET

SEA WR DK Metcalf returned to practice Friday; RB Travis Homer DNP

DK Metcalf returned to practice Friday ahead of Seattle’s Monday night matchup with the Washington Football Team while Travis Homer logged another DNP. This seems to be Metcalf’s normal practice schedule now, he gets an extra day off early in the week and then returns to full practice. Metcalf should be ready to lead the Seahawks receiving corps on Monday and should be considered as one of the top plays on the slate. Homer once again logged a DNP leaving his status for Monday in question. If he were to miss, the backfield would continue to be led by Alex Collins with DeeJay Dallas available to back him up. Both Collins and Dallas can already be considered for the showdown slate but Homer’s absence would strengthen their value even more. It will be important to check the injury report released tomorrow to see what Homer’s official status will be for Monday’s game.

Corey Davis

New York Jets
11/26/21, 6:19 PM ET

NYJ WR Corey Davis listed questionable for Sunday but expected to play

Corey Davis has been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans but is expected to play. Davis suffered a groin injury in practice on Wednesday which is why he is listed on the injury report but it is not believed to be too serious. Davis is expected to play his normal role as the Jets’ top receiver with Elijah Moore and Jamison Crowder also playing important roles. The return of Zach Wilson also could help the Jets receivers as well as the loss of Michael Carter. It will be important to check inactives 90 minutes prior to kickoff to ensure Davis is available to play.

Nico Collins

Houston Texans
11/26/21, 6:12 PM ET

HOU WR Nico Collins and WR Davion Davis listed questionable for Sunday

Nico Collins and Davion Davis have been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the New York Jets. Davis’s potential absence would not be DFS relevant though Collins’s could have some ramifications. If Collins were to be ruled out Brandin Cooks could see even more targets than he is normally accustomed to and could be considered a better play. Danny Amendola and Chris Conley could also play a larger role in the Houston offense as well. Brandin Cooks remains the only Texan that should warrant real consideration in DFS lineups and could be played in most formats if Collins were to be ruled out. It will be important to check inactives when they are released Sunday to see if Collins is available.

JaMycal Hasty

Miami Dolphins
11/26/21, 6:02 PM ET

SFO RB JaMycal Hasty ruled out for Sunday; RB Elijah Mitchell listed questionable

As expected, JaMycal Hasty has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings while Elijah Mitchell has been listed questionable. Elijah Mitchell missed last weekend’s game after having surgery to repair a broken finger but has the possibility to return this weekend. If available, he should reclaim his role as the lead back in the San Francisco backfield with Jeff Wilson available to back him up. It is worth noting that Deebo Samuel has played an important role in the backfield the last few weeks but he could return to his role as the top receiver for the 49ers with the return of Mitchell. If Mitchell is ruled out, Wilson and Samuel will split running back duties once again making Samuel an elite dual threat option similar to Cordarrelle Patterson but with more upside. It will be important to look at inactives 90 minutes prior to kickoff on Sunday to check Mitchell’s status.

Ben Skowronek

Pittsburgh Steelers
11/26/21, 5:50 PM ET

LAR WR Ben Skowronek listed questionable for Sunday

Ben Skowronek has been listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers. Skowronek is not expected to lay much of a role as he is currently behind Cooper Kupp, Van Jefferson, and recently signed Odell Beckham Jr. on the Rams depth chart. If he were to be inactive J.J. Koski could see the snaps vacated by Skowronek, though he also would not be DFS relevant.

Aaron Jones

Minnesota Vikings
11/26/21, 5:47 PM ET

GBP RB Aaron Jones and WR Allen Lazard listed questionable for Sunday; WR Malik Taylor listed out

Aaron Jones and Allen Lazard have been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the Rams while Malik Taylor has been ruled out. Taylor was not expected to play a major Role Sunday and his absence is not expected to be DFS relevant. Jones seems to be a true game-time call as the Packers could elect to just let him rest through their bye week in Week 13 though they might want to have him suit up in an important matchup that could decide playoff seeding. The same can likely be said for Lazard who the Packers would like to have healthy for a playoff run. If Jones is active Sunday he would likely be limited and split time with AJ Dillon hurting both of their values. If inactive, Dillon would become a much better play and would be one of the top value options on the slate even in a tough matchup. If lazard were to be ruled out Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Randall Cobb could play a larger role behind Davante Adams. It will be important to check inactives 90 minutes prior to kickoff as the running back situation for the Packers should be very important for DFS contests.

Damien Harris

Buffalo Bills
11/26/21, 5:38 PM ET

NEP RB Damien Harris, TE Hunter Henry, TE Jonnu Smith, RB Rhamondre Stevenson, and K Nick Folk all listed questionable for Sunday

In usual Belichick style the New England injury report is a long one with Damien Harris, Hunter Henry, Jonnu Smith, Rhamondre Stevenson, and Nick Folk all listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans. If Damien Harris or Rhamondre Stevenson were to be ruled out the other would carry the load with Brandon Bolden and J.J. Taylor also available to mix in. If Hunter Henry or Jonnu Smith were unable to suit up the other would be the primary tight end for the Patriots with Devin Asiasi and Matt LaCosse available to back them up. Nick Folk has been listed questionable the last few weeks but has been able to suit up every game so there is little cause for concern here. It will be important to check inactives 90 minutes prior to kickoff as some running back and/or tight end value could open up for the Patriots.

Adam Shaheen

Miami Dolphins
11/26/21, 5:13 PM ET

MIA TE Adam Shaheen listed out for Sunday

Adam Shaheen has been listed out for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers. Shaheen’s role should be assumed by rookie Hunter Long as both he and Durham Smythe should split time backing up Mike Gesicki. Long and Smythe will both play a role in the Miami offense but likely not enough of one to be considered DFS relevant at this time.

Mike Boone

Miami Dolphins
11/26/21, 5:10 PM ET

DEN RB Mike Boone and WR Tyrie Cleveland listed questionable for Sunday

Mike Boone and Tyrie Cleveland have been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Both Boone and Cleveland are not expected to play major role on Sunday and their potential absences would not be DFS relevant.

11/26/21, 5:06 PM ET

NYG WR Sterling Shepard, TE Kaden Smith, and FB Cullen Gillaspia listed out for Sunday; WR Kadarius Toney and TE Kyle Rudolph listed doubtful; RB Saquon Barkley and WR John Ross listed questionable

The Giants injury report is once again a long one for their game this Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles and reads like this: Sterling Shepard, Kaden Smith, and Cullen Gillaspia listed out; Kadarius Toney and Kyle Rudolph listed doubtful; Saquon Barkley and John Ross listed questionable. With both Shepard and Toney likely out the receiving corps should be led by Kenny Golladay and Darius Slayton making them both much better plays. With Smith and Rudolph out, Evan Engram should be the primary tight end for the Giants with recently signed Chris Myarick available to back him up. Saquon seems likely to be available but could be limited meaning more work for Devontae Booker. Until Barkley can prove that he can handle a workhorse role in the New York backfield, he can only be viewed as a riskier tournament option with limited upside.
