BAL WR Miles Boykin ruled out for Sunday; WR Marquise Brown, TE Nick Boyle, and FB Patrick Ricard all listed questionable

Miles Boykin has officially been ruled out for Sunday night’s game against the Cleveland Browns while Marquise Brown, Nick Boyle, and Patrick Ricard have all been listed as questionable. Boykin was expected to serve as receiver depth and his absence should not be considered DFS relevant. Brown, Boyle, and Ricard all seem to be trending in the right direction to play on Sunday despite dealing with injuries. Brown should be considered Lamar Jackson’s top option with Rashod Bateman opposite him. Boyle if available will back up Mark Andrews. Ricard would serve as the primary fullback for the Ravens and has seen some work this year. It will be important to check back on all three player’s statuses when inactives are released 90 minutes prior to kickoff.

TEN WR A.J. Brown and RB Jeremy McNichols ruled out for Sunday

A.J. Brown and RB Jeremy McNichols have officially been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots. With Brown out, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Dez Fitzpatrick will be in line to play a much bigger role in the Titans passing game and could be considered as value options. Jeremy McNichols is still dealing with a concussion and will once again be unable to go again this weekend, the Titans backfield will likely be split between Dontrell Hilliard (passing downs) and D’Onta Foreman (early down work).

Jordan Howard

New Orleans Saints
11/26/21, 2:54 PM ET

PHI RB Jordan Howard ruled out for Sunday

As expected, Jordan Howard has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants. Without Howard, the Eagles will rely on Miles Sanders to lead the backfield with both Boston Scott and Kenneth Gainwell available to back him up. Sanders should see the bulk of the snaps with Scott mixing in on early downs and Gainwell mixing in during passing downs.

Auden Tate

Arizona Cardinals
11/26/21, 3:06 PM ET

CIN WR Auden Tate listed doubtful for Sunday

Auden Tate has been listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tate was not expected to play a major role and if officially ruled out, Mike Thomas and Stanley Morgan would likely see any snaps that Tate would have seen. Tate was only expected to serve in a depth role so his absence is not expected to be DFS relevant this weekend.

Cordarrelle Patterson

Pittsburgh Steelers
11/26/21, 3:02 PM ET

ATL RB Cordarrelle Patterson listed questionable for Sunday; RB Qadree Ollison not expected to be available.

Cordarrelle Patterson has officially been listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars while Qadree Ollison is not expected to be available. If available, Patterson is expected to reclaim his role as the top back in the Falcons backfield splitting time with Mike Davis and Wayne Gallman would be available to back them up. If Patterson were to be ruled out, Mike Davis would likely be the lead back for Atlanta with Gallman also mixing in. Ollison has been dealing with a non-COVID related illness and is not expected to be elevated from the practice squad tomorrow meaning more work for whichever backs are available for the Falcons on Sunday.

CLE WR Anthony Schwartz ruled out for Sunday; WR Donovan Peoples-Jones listed questionable

Anthony Schwartz has been ruled out for Sunday night’s game against the Baltimore Ravens while Donovan Peoples-Jones has been listed questionable. Schwartz wasn’t expected to play a major role this weekend but his absence could mean a few more snaps for Ja’Marcus Bradley and a few more targets for all other members of the Cleveland receiving corps. It seems as though DPJ is trending in the right direction to suit up on Sunday night but if he were unable to play Jarvis Landry would be the unquestioned alpha receiver while Rashard Higgins would move into the secondary role with the tight ends Austin Hooper, Harrison Bryant, and David Njoku also playing a bigger role in the passing game.

Marquez Stevenson

Carolina Panthers
11/25/21, 7:07 PM ET

Marquez Stevenson active Thursday night

Stevenson is active after coming off of IR, and he figures to eat up most of what Isaiah McKenzie left behind. He still figures to run behind Diggs, Sanders, Beasley and Davis, but does have some dart-throw appeal in showdown formats.

Zack Moss

Cincinnati Bengals
11/25/21, 7:06 PM ET

Zack Moss, Isaiah McKenzie inactive Thursday night

It was reported earlier that Moss would likely be inactive, but McKenzie is a little more of a surprise. Marquez Stevenson will be active after coming off of IR, and he figures to eat up most of what McKenzie left behind. Stevenson has some dart-throw appeal in showdown formats, but he isn’t likely to see the field a ton with the Bills otherwise healthy at the WR spot.

Mark Ingram

New Orleans Saints
11/25/21, 7:03 PM ET

Mark Ingram, Alex Armah inactive Thursday night

In addition to not having Alvin Kamara, the Saints will be without both Mark Ingram and Alex Armah on Thursday night. Tony Jones figures to head the backfield with Dwayne Washington, Ty Montgomery and Adam Prentice all candidates to see work behind him. Montgomery has the highest ceiling of the dart throw options here, and it’s likely he works into the backfield equation given how shorthanded they are. Washington is generally used as a special teamer but could see some work offensively, although it’s not clear exactly how the backfield will shake out behind Jones.

Zack Moss

Cincinnati Bengals
11/25/21, 4:06 PM ET

Zack Moss expected to be inactive Thursday night

Zack Moss is expected to be a healthy scratch on Thursday night against the Cowboys. Assuming he’s inactive, we should see more Matt Breida as the second back alongside Devin Singletary, and it’s likely we see some sort of relatively equal split which is the norm with Buffalo RBs. Breida has come on strong the last two games and has seemingly worked his way ahead of Moss on the depth chart. Singletary is a stronger DFS target at this point, but Breida is also squarely in play and could offer a nice ceiling towards the minimum price.

Peyton Barber

Las Vegas Raiders
11/25/21, 3:25 PM ET

Peyton Barber inactive Thursday

Peyton Barber is inactive for Thursday afternoon’s meeting with the Cowboys. He would have been 3rd or 4th on the RB depth chart anyway, so there isn’t really much here. If he was included in your Showdown pools, you’ll want to remove him. Kenyan Drake and Jalen Richard will eat up whatever Josh Jacobs leaves behind.

CeeDee Lamb

Dallas Cowboys
11/25/21, 3:14 PM ET

CeeDee Lamb officially inactive on Thursday

Lamb is officially inactive Thursday, as expected. His absence creates a huge hole at the WR spot and should lead to more looks for Michael Gallup, Cedrick Wilson, Noah Brown and Malik Turner while both backs and Dalton Schultz are also candidates to get more involved. This does put a small damper on Dak Prescott’s outlook.

Mark Ingram

New Orleans Saints
11/25/21, 12:38 PM ET

Mark Ingram not expected to play Thursday night

It does not appear that the Saints will have Mark Ingram Thursday night against the Bills, a notable loss with Alvin Kamara already out of the lineup. Assuming Ingram can’t go, Tony Jones would figure to take on the lion’s share of the RB work with Alex Armah and Dwayne Washington also candidates to see increased work behind him. Jones missed a good chunk of time earlier this year, but he’s healthy at a convenient time and does become a worthwhile DFS target on the Thanksgiving slate. We’ll continue to update Ingram’s status as the day unfolds.

CeeDee Lamb

Dallas Cowboys
11/25/21, 11:06 AM ET

CeeDee Lamb does not clear concussion protocol, won't play Thursday

Jay Glazer is reporting that Lamb has not cleared the concussion protocol and won’t play Thursday. Ed Werder has reported that Lamb’s status is still undetermined, so giving some small uncertainty we will confirm his status again later in the day, but for now it’s safest to assume he won’t play.

Lamar Jackson

Baltimore Ravens
11/24/21, 6:01 PM ET

BAL QB Lamar Jackson and WR Marquise Brown returned to practice Wednesday; WR Miles Boykin DNP

Lamar Jackson and Marquise Brown both returned to practice Wednesday ahead of the Ravens matchup with the Browns on Sunday night while Miles Boykin logged a DNP. Jackson seems to think he is completely over his illness and will be more than ready to go on Sunday night. As always Jackson will be one of the top plays on the showdown slate. Brown also returned to practice likely signaling that he is trending in the right direction to suit up this weekend after missing the last game. Brown should reclaim his role as the top target in the Ravens offense though Rashod Bateman and Mark Andrews continue to see their targets as well. Miles Boykin is expected to serve as receiver depth and his status should not be DFS relevant even on a showdown slate.
