NO WR Deonte Harris upgraded to limited Thursday; QB Taysom Hill DNP again
After missing the last game due to a hamstring injury, Harris was able to get in a limited practice, a day after not practicing. This puts him closer to playing and competing as one of the top WR options for the team behind Marquez Callaway and the recently returning Tre’Quan Smith. Taysom Hill couldn’t practice yet again due to being in the concussion protocol, so the severity behind that may rule him out.
As reported by: the Tampa Bay Buccaneers via Twitter Other tagged players: Taysom HillMIA WR Devante Parker limited again Thursday
Parker got in a second straight limited practice as the Dolphins prepare for a rematch against the Buffalo Bills. He’s been dealing with a shoulder and hamstring injury that’s caused him to miss the last two weeks. If he returns, he’ll bite into the target share of Jaylen Waddle and Mike Gesicki.
As reported by: the Miami Dolphins via team WebsiteCLE WR Odell Beckham, WR Jarvis Landry, and RB Nick Chubb all limited Thursday; WR Donovan Peoples-Jones DNP again
The Browns injury report didn’t reveal too much; OBJ, Landry, and Chubb were all limited; Landry and Chubb have both said they’ll play, while OBJ is expected to play as well. Peoples-Jones was a late scratch last week due to a groin injury, and wasn’t able to practice today after missing yesterday. It’s looking like he’ll sit, which should lead to a few more snaps for Anthony Schwartz and Rashard Higgins, but on a 12 game main slate in a matchup with the Steelers, it’s tough to trust any primary options from the Browns, let alone the ancillary ones.
As reported by: Camryn Justice via Twitter Other tagged players: Jarvis Landry, Nick Chubb, Donovan Peoples-JonesTB TE Rob Gronkowski limited again Thursday; WR Antonio Brown DNP again
The Bucs are looking to get one of their key offensive personnel back, but likely just one. Gronk had his second straight limited practice, and appears to be coming back from his multi week absence due to a rib injury. AB on the other hand appears to be further away; yesterday Coach Arians said that Brown may come back after the bye, and possibly even longer; it almost certainly seems as if he’ll miss the game. As we saw last game, the concentration of targets towards Mike Evans and Chris Godwin make them both stellar plays, as the Bucs look to constantly throw the ball. Evans will likely be ruled out tomorrow, as he was last week.

Davis popped up on the injury report as limited due to a hip injury, as the Mike White led Jets prepare to take on the hot Cincinnati Bengals. A new injury on Thursdays are always a worry, but this could certainly be precautionary. Coleman had his second straight DNP due to a hamstring issue, which caused him to be a gameday inactive last week. The backfield will likely be led by Michael Carter once again, with Ty Johnson picking up some work as well.
As reported by: Ralph Vacchiano via Twitter Other tagged players: Tevin ColemanDAL QB Dak Prescott limited again Thursday
Dak got in a limited practice again as the Cowboys prepare to play the Minnesota Vikings on prime-time. Prescott has had a mild calf strain that he suffered on the last play of the game two weeks ago against the Patriots, and despite the bye week to rest, he’s still bothered by it. There have been some ominous quotes from the surrounding members from Dak, who says that if it were up to him he’d play, but he’d understand if he had to sit. A lot of the betting odds have shifted from the Cowboys being favored to the Vikings, so there’s beginning to clearly be some concern. Tomorrow should give a more clear picture of this alarming news.
As reported by: Calvin Watkins via TwitterPIT WR Chase Claypool fully practices; TE Eric Ebron limited
Claypool was upgraded from limited to a full practice, and appears to be good to as the Steelers prepare to play the Cleveland Browns. The more concerning injury is Ebron, who popped up on the injury report with a hamstring injury after not being listed on the report yesterday. If he were to sit, it would be a huge bump up for Pat Freiermuth, as the rookie TE would be poised for a big increase in snaps, and would likely be a top TE. Ebron has played through injury before so tomorrow will bear watching.
As reported by: Camryn Justice via Twitter Other tagged players: Eric EbronGB WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling officially out Thursday; WR Malik Taylor activated off COVID-19 list and will play; WR Juwann Winfree elevated from practice squad; TE Dominique Dafney activated from IR
The Packers confirmed what was speculated earlier; MVS wasn’t activated and won’t play, Taylor was activated off the COVID 19 list, Winfree was elevated from the practice squad and will be active, and Dafney will join the team as a TE and should be active. Cobb will be the first WR, while Equanimeous St. Brown, Amari Rodgers, and Taylor will compete for the WR 2 and 3 after Cobb. Winfree likely is just a depth option, but additional 2 TE sets should be heavily expected, as Robert Tonyan will be a leading option, while Marcedes Lewis will get a few snaps as well. Aaron Jones should expect more receiving work as well.

NYG RB Saquon Barkley (ankle), WR Kenny Golladay (knee), and WR Kadarius Toney (ankle) DNP Thursday; TE Evan Engram (calf) and WR Sterling Sheaprd (hamstring) both limited
The Giants lengthy injury report continues as arguably their five top options are still hurting as they prepare for MNF against the KC Chiefs. Saquon, Golladay, Toney, all missed last game and all couldn’t practice today, although Joe Judge has optimism and thinks they may be closer than it seems. Shepard also missed last game, but was able to get a limited session in, along with Engram. Since they play on Monday, tomorrow and Saturday’s practice will be far more important.
As reported by: Dan Salomone via Twitter Other tagged players: Kenny Golladay, Kadarius Toney, Evan Engram, Sterling ShepardTEN WR Julio Jones DNP again Thursday; WR A.J. Brown practices in full; WR Josh Reynolds DNP; WR Chester Rogers limited
The Titans WR room looks to be coming in shape as they prepare for a divisional clash against the Indianapolis Colts. Brown practiced in full and looks to be back. Rogers was upgraded to limited and should be in line to play. Reynolds popped up as DNP due to an illness, but has been in the doghouse anyways and won’t be relevant. The big name is Julio Jones, who had his second straight DNP due to a hamstring issue. Jones was able to play last week despite not practicing, so he may still play, but it’s clear that the hamstring is a lingering issue and may bother him throughout the year. In a game with one of the highest totals on the week, Jones’s absence would pay more dividends for A.J. Brown than anyone else.
As reported by: Turron Davenport via Twitter Other tagged players: A.J. Brown, Chester Rogers, Josh ReynoldsWAS WR Dyami Brown and WR Curtis Samuel DNP Thursday; Antonio Gibson, Cam Sims limited
The WFT’s injury report is beginning to look similar from week to week, as they try to manage their injuries against the Denver Broncos. Gibson is limited again, and despite his efficiency dropping the last few weeks, he should be on pace to play through his shin fracture. Samuel and Brown look to be missing one more game, but their official designation should come tomorrow. Terry McLaurin will remain the alpha WR for the team, while Adam Humphries and DeAndre Carter helping supplement him if Samuel and Brown can’t go.
As reported by: Nicki Jhabvala via twitter Other tagged players: Dyami Brown, Antonio Gibson, Cam SimsGB WR Marquez Valdez Scantling "doesn't look good" for playing Thursday
According to reports, MVS is unlikely to be activated off of IR ahead of the Packers nightcap against the Arizona Cardinals. This is on top of Davante Adams and Allen Lazard already being ruled out due to being on the COVID-19 list. With no Adams, Lazard, or (likely) MVS, the Packers WR options are perilously thin. Randall Cobb should be the top option, while Equanimeous St. Brown, Malik Taylor, and Amari Rodgers will be doing their best to flank Cobb. It’s more likely that targets flow to Aaron Jones and Robert Tonyan, and also that the Packers run the ball more. If one of the Packers secondary options gets a touchdown, they’ll likely be close to the optimal lineup as they are very cheap for showdown purposes.
As reported by: Adam Schefter via TwitterARI WR DeAndre Hopkins expected to play Thursday
Despite the Q tag, Hopkins is fully expected to play through his hamstring injury against the Green Bay Packers. Hopkins will continue be the top option for the Cardinals passing game, but they will continue to spread the ball out, and his injury makes his outcomes more volatile compared to his usual steadiness.
