DAL RB Ezekiel Elliott is expected to play Sunday

Ezekiel Elliott is expected to play Sunday against the New England Patriots. Elliott was always expected to play even after being listed as questionable on the Friday injury report. He will likely see a heavy workload with the Cowboys expected to win fairly easily, if he is at all limited the Cowboys could elect to use Tony Pollard more than usual.

Allen Robinson

Detroit Lions
10/17/21, 8:25 AM ET

CHI WR Allen Robinson is expected to play Sunday

Allen Robinson is expected to play Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. Both Robinson and Darnell Mooney figure to be fairly active in a game that looks to require Justin Fields to pass the ball to remain in a duel with Aaron Rodgers and the high powered Green Bay offense. Robinson can be considered as a bring back in your lineups with Green Bay stacks.

Chase Edmonds

Washington Commanders
10/17/21, 8:19 AM ET

ARI RB Chase Edmonds is expected to play Sunday

Chase Edmonds is expected to play Sunday when the Cardinals are set to take on the Cleveland Browns. Edmonds has been dealing with a shoulder injury for a couple of weeks now but will once again suit up and should see his normal workload. He should split snaps in the backfield with James Conner in a game that should be one of the higher scoring games on the slate. It is probably best to stay away from Edmonds at this point until we see a consistent workload or Conner’s role in the backfield diminishes.

Terry McLaurin

Washington Commanders

WAS WR Terry McLaurin and RB Antonio Gibson both expected to play Sunday

Terry McLaurin and Antonio Gibson both expected to play Sunday after being listed as questionable on the injury report Friday. McLaurin was a surprise inclusion on the injury report while Gibson has been dealing with a shin issue for a couple of weeks now. Both should be able to suit up and play their normal role in what should be one of the highest scoring games on the slate. Both McLaurin and Gibson can be considered in your game stacks.

KCC WR Tyreek Hill expected to play Sunday

Tyreek Hill is expected to play Sunday when the Chiefs take on the Washington Football Team. Hill should remain in his normal role as one of Patrick Mahomes’s favorite targets in a game that should be pretty pass-centric. Hill should be considered in your KCC-WAS game stacks.

DET TE T.J. Hockenson, RB D'Andre Swift, and RB Jamaal Williams all expected to play Sunday

T.J. Hockenson, D’Andre Swift, and Jamaal Williams all are expected to play Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. They all should see their normal roles and usage after practicing in a limited fashion this week and coming into the game listed as questionable. Hockenson and Swift should benefit from a game script that should involve a lot of work in the passing game.

Nico Collins

Houston Texans
10/16/21, 5:58 PM ET

HOU WR Nico Collins activated from IR to active roster

Nico Collins has been activated from IR to the active roster ahead of the Texans Sunday matchup with the Indianapolis Colts. Collins was expected to be activated next week but has been improving enough to play this week. Collins could be on some sort of snap count but should compete with Chris Conley for the WR2 role opposite Brandin Cooks. The Texans’ offense is a disaster aside from Cooks and should be avoided in DFS contests if at all possible, especially in a matchup against a good Colts’ defense.

DET WR Geronimo Allison has been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday

Geronimo Allison has been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals. Allison is expected to serve as receiver depth for a banged up Lions’ receiving corps and is not DFS relevant at this time

Artavis Pierce

Denver Broncos
10/16/21, 6:14 PM ET

CHI RB Artavis Pierce elevated from practice squad for Sunday

Artavis Pierce has been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s contest against the Green Bay Packers. Pierce is expected to serve as the third running back behind Khalil Herbert and Ryan Nall. Though we are not sure exactly how the snaps of the Bears’ backfield will shake out just yet, Khalil Herbert is the piece you should roster as he is expected to be the primary back and is considered to be the top value option on the whole slate.

Ross Travis

Detroit Lions
10/16/21, 4:24 PM ET

ARI TE Ross Travis elevated from practice squad for Sunday

Ross Travis has been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns. Travis should serve as the backup tight end to Demetrius Harris and neither should be considered in DFS contests at this point. Both of their roles will evaporate once the newly acquired Zach Ertz joins the team in Week 7.

Phillip Dorsett

Las Vegas Raiders
10/16/21, 4:21 PM ET

SEA WR Phillip Dorsett elevated from practice squad

Phillip Dorsett has been elevated from the practice squad ahead of Sunday night’s matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Dorsett is expected to serve as receiver depth and should only be considered as a desperation punt play on the showdown slate, even then there are still probably better options.

Dante Pettis

New Orleans Saints
10/16/21, 6:28 PM ET

NYG WR Dante Pettis elevated from practice squad for Sunday

Dante Pettis has been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. Pettis is expected to serve as receiver depth with the Giants’ receiving corps still not at full strength, but Pettis is not DFS relevant at this time.

Rashod Bateman

Baltimore Ravens
10/16/21, 6:30 PM ET

BAL WR Rashod Bateman activated off IR to active roster; RB Le'Veon Bell elevated from practice squad for Sunday

As expected, Rashod Bateman has been activated off IR to the active roster and should debut this Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. Bateman should fight for WR2 snaps due to the fact that Sammy Watkins has already been ruled out. Le’Veon Bell has been elevated from the practice squad likely meaning he will be active on Sunday. If he is, it is also likely one of the other 3 running backs will end up being a healthy scratch. Last time it was Ty’son Williams who has seen his role diminish over the past few weeks. Most people believe Williams is more skilled that Devonta Freeman at this point in his career so there is also the potential for Freeman to be the healthy scratch. At this point no member of the Ravens backfield is worth playing in DFS as their roles and snap counts have been so inconsistent.

John Brown

Buffalo Bills
10/16/21, 4:09 PM ET

DEN WR John Brown and WR Tyrie Cleveland elevated from practice squad for Sunday

John Brown and Tyrie Cleveland have both been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Brown (who was signed earlier in the week) and Cleveland are both expected to serve as receiver depth at this time and are not DFS relevant. Brown might see more opportunities in the future as he gets more comfortable with his new team.

Chester Rogers

Cleveland Browns
10/16/21, 6:34 PM ET

TEN WR Chester Rogers, RB Jeremy McNichols, and RB Khari Blasingame listed questionable for Monday; WR Julio Jones not listed on injury report

Chester Rogers, Jeremy McNichols, and Khari Blasingame are all listed as questionable for Monday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. Chester Rogers looks to slot in as the WR3 with both Julio Jones and A.J.. Brown healthy, so if he were to miss Marcus Johnson or Josh Reynolds would likely step into this role. McNichols should serve as Derrick Henry’s backup but if he were to miss Darrynton Evans could be activated off IR and used in this role (Evans is said to be close to returning and has been designated for return since October 6th). The big news for the Titans is that Julio Jones was able to log full practices this week and will be able to return this Monday after dealing with a hamstring injury. He should slot in opposite A.J. Brown in a passing attack that has underwhelmed so far this season. Jones and Brown should be considered on the showdown slate as the Titans will likely be playing from behind and will need to rely on the passing game to keep pace with the Bills.
