Sony Michel will not be activated from IR this week
Sony Michel will not be activated from IR this week, despite finishing his second week of practice. This is probably a good sign for the availability of Damien Harris, who was listed as questionable on the final injury report this week. The Patriots are already deep at RB, so there is no need for them to rush Michel back if their other RBs are healthy.

As reported by: Jamison HensleyJoe Mixon ruled out for Sunday
Joe Mixon has been ruled out for Sunday, not surprising after he was listed as doubtful. Giovani Bernard will work as the top RB for the Bengals, with Samaje Perine working as the backup. Both will get work, but Bernard should lead the RBs in rush attempts and targets.

The Seahawks will be without both Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde again on Sunday. Last week DeeJay Dallas and Travis Homer split the majority of the RB work nearly evenly, with third RB Alex Collins getting two carries as well. The Seahawks will likely have a similar approach on Sunday.

The Bears RB situation is a mess with David Montgomery now ruled out for Monday night. WR Cordarrelle Patterson is consistently part of the run game and should see an increase in rush attempts. Lamar Miller could be promoted to the active roster, although nothing is official yet. Ryan Nall and Artavis Pierce are the other active RBs, and it is hard to imagine the Bears will want to lean too heavily on either player in the run game. News on Lamar Miller should help clarify this situation, although it is hard to know how he will perform in potentially his first game since 2018.

Tyler Kroft has been placed on the COVID-19 list after being identified as a close contact of CB Josh Norman, who tested positive for COVID-19. Both are out for Sunday at least, and Dawson Knox will work as the Bills’ top TE with Lee Smith and Reggie Gilliam behind him.

Johnson wasn’t able to practice this week as he remains in the NFL’s concussion protocol, and he’s officially been ruled out of Sunday’s Week 10 matchup against the Cleveland Browns due to the aforementioned concussion symptoms. Following Johnson’s exit from last Sunday’s contest, Duke Johnson came on in relief and logged 52-of-64 snaps while handling all of the available backfield touches en route to accumulating 16 carries and four targets in his counterpart’s absence. With the lack of depth behind Duke Johnson, it’s hard to envision a scenario where he isn’t the clear lead running back by a wide margin this weekend, making him a stellar option for all formats across the daily fantasy industry.
As reported by: Sarah Barshop via TwitterMark Ingram (ankle) officially listed as questionable for Sunday
Ingram was able to return to practice on Friday, and even though he’s officially been listed as questionable on the Ravens’ injury report, Ingram is expected to play in Sunday night’s Week 10 matchup against the New England Patriots despite still recovering from an ankle injury that’s kept him sidelined for two games. Over that span, J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards essentially split the backfield duties down the middle but things become much more muddied with Ingram likely back in the fold as he leads the three-headed committee by a slim margin with just 48 touches over the last five weeks he was active. Unfortunately, this is currently a backfield to avoid in daily fantasy formats until either another injury occurs or there becomes a clearer picture on how head coach John Harbaugh plans to deploy his running backs on offense out of the bye week.
As reported by: Jeff Zrebiec via TwitterAlshon Jeffery (calf) will be available to play Sunday
Jeffery was able to practice in full all three days once again, and he’ll reportedly be active and available to play in Sunday’s Week 10 matchup against the New York Giants for the first time all season after dealing with calf and foot injuries over the course of the first eight games. However, with the emergence of Travis Fulgham and promising flashes from Jalen Reagor, it appears extremely unlikely Jeffery will assume a substantial role in the offense, especially in his first week back as head coach Doug Pederson already disclosed to reporters on Zoom that the team plans to ease him back into game action following nearly a full year absence. Jeffery obviously isn’t in consideration for daily fantasy formats this weekend, but his presence, along with the return of Miles Sanders, could be enough to lower the projected median value of players like Fulgham, Reagor, and Dallas Goedert.
As reported by: Zach Berman via TwitterKenny Golladay (hip) ruled out for Sunday; T.J. Hockenson (toe) questionable
Golladay still hasn’t been able to practice since sustaining a hip injury back in Week 8, and he’s officially been ruled out for Sunday’s Week 10 matchup against the Washington Football Team, marking the third consecutive game he’s been sidelined. In his absence, Marvin Jones Jr., Danny Amendola, and Marvin Hall have seen a large majority of the wide receiver snaps in three-wide sets, and even though he’s been volatile for fantasy purposes, Jones is still the undisputed top option for quarterback Matthew Stafford on the outside. Meanwhile, Hockenson has been listed as questionable with a toe injury despite being a full participant in practice on Friday afternoon, which is good news for this Lions offense as Hockenson has led the team in targets over the previous two games and, if active, will be a fine option at the tight end position for daily fantasy formats this weekend.
As reported by: Chrs Burke via Twitter Other tagged players: T.J. HockensonKenyan Drake (ankle) will be a game-time decision on Sunday
Drake has been a limited participant in practice all week, and he appears to be on track to be a true game-time decision for Sunday’s Week 10 matchup against the Buffalo Bills due to an ankle injury that already forced him to miss one game. Drake will test his ankle in pregame warmups, and head coach Kliff Kingsbury already reiterated that Drake won’t play unless he feels good and the team thinks he’ll be able to perform to the best of his abilities on the field. Edmonds handled a ridiculous 28 of the Cardinals’ 30 backfield touches in last Sunday’s contest, so if Drake is unable to suit up, Edmonds would become a tremendous option for all daily fantasy formats across the industry the weekend despite his rather disappointing performance in Arizona’s previous game.
