Blake Jarwin

Dallas Cowboys
9/14/20, 3:24 PM ET

Blake Jarwin (knee) will miss the remainder of the season

The Cowboys’ initial fears were confirmed when an MRI confirmed that Jarwin did indeed suffer a ruptured Achilles in Week 1’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams, and he’ll eventually be placed on the long-term injured reserve, ending his 2020 season. In his absence, Dalton Schultz took over the primary pass-catching tight end role on Sunday night, but it’s unlikely he’ll carve out a meaningful target share in the Dallas offense moving forward. Instead, look for head coach Mike McCarthy and offensive coordinator Kellen Moore to utilize 11 personnel on an even more frequent basis than they were previously. This would be a boon to the projected market share of targets for Ezekiel Elliott and all three of the top wide receivers, though CeeDee Lamb seems to be the largest beneficiary with less route and target competition that could have kept his role in the passing game diminished in the early stages of his rookie season.

Marlon Mack (Achilles) will miss the remainder of the season

The Colts’ initial fears were confirmed when an MRI confirmed that Mack did indeed suffer a ruptured Achilles in Week 1’s loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, and he’ll eventually be placed on the long-term injured reserve, ending his 2020 season. While the injury is unfortunate, Mack’s absence in the backfield will clear the way for Jonathan Taylor to be the Colts’ lead running back, and he even made a few impressive plays in the passing game on Sunday afternoon, which may keep Nyheim Hines off the field more often as the season progresses. Until then, however, Hines will be an interesting, game script dependent option in daily fantasy formats as he out-snapped Taylor with 39 total snaps and accumulated 15 touches in yesterday’s closely-contested loss.

Sean McKeon

Indianapolis Colts
9/13/20, 7:13 PM ET

Sean McKeon Inactive Sunday Night

The TE was not expected to have a role in the offense even if active, so his absence won’t impact the game from a fantasy perspective.

Mike Williams

Los Angeles Chargers
9/13/20, 2:52 PM ET

Mike Williams Active, Jason Moore and Donald Parham Inactive Sunday

Mike Williams will be active Sunday, meaning his work during warmups must have went well. It is still likely he will be limited, but he will give it a go today. In a related move, WR Jason Moore is inactive Sunday. He would not have had a significant role this week, even if active. Donald Parham is also inactive for the Chargers.

Dede Westbrook

Minnesota Vikings
9/13/20, 12:36 PM ET

Dede Westbrook, Dare Ogunbowale Inactive Sunday

Both Dede Westbrook and Dare Ogunbowale are inactive Sunday for the Jaguars. Westbrook is a healthy scratch this week, and indication of his role (or lack of a role) this season in the offense.

Phillip Dorsett

Las Vegas Raiders
9/13/20, 12:34 PM ET

Phillip Dorsett, DeeJay Dallas Inactive Sunday

Dorsett and Dallas are both inactive for the Seahawks Sunday. Dorsett’s absence could open up more targets for receiver David Moore, while Dallas being out could boost Carlos Hyde as the backup RB behind Chris Carson.

Bryce Love

Washington Commanders
9/13/20, 12:33 PM ET

Bryce Love Inactive on Sunday

With Love inactive, Antonio Gibson is still expected to lead the backfield with Peyton Barber helping out on early downs and J.D. McKissic likely to have a role on passing downs. Gibson is one of the few viable cheap RB cash game plays and certainly has a ceiling, especially if the Redskins defensive front can give the Eagles offense fits. Love appears to be buried on this depth chart.

Kenny Golladay

New York Giants
9/13/20, 12:25 PM ET

Kenny Golladay, Hunter Bryant and Jonathan Williams Inactive for Lions Week 1

The big inactive for the Lions this week is Kenny Golladay, a major weapon in their offense. Marvin Jones should see all the targets he can handle Sunday.

Equanimeous St. Brown

San Francisco 49ers
9/13/20, 12:23 PM ET

Equanimeous St. Brown Inactive Sunday

Equanimeous St. Brown has been declared inactive Sunday for the Packers’ Week 1 game. His role was projected to be rather small, so his absence only provides a very slight boost to some of the lower level receivers for Green Bay.

Riley Ridley

Chicago Bears
