Seahawks Could be Without Two Defensive Starters Against Steelers

DE Ziggy Ansah (shoulder) and FS Tedric Thompson (hamstring) are questionable for Sunday’s tilt against the Steelers. Although the Seahawks only allowed 34 yards on 14 rushing attempts to the Bengals in Week 1, Andy Dalton amassed a career-high 418 yards through the air.

The Steelers are in a prime bounce-back spot at home after getting destroyed by New England, and these injuries would certainly benefit every offensive player for Pittsburgh. Big Ben and Juju Smith-Schuster make for phenomenal GPP plays this week. While Juju seems to be a popular option, Roethlisberger may see sub-5% ownership. The QB averages 7.8 yards per attempt for his career, and the Seahawks allowed Dalton to achieve 8.2 yards per attempt last week.

49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan to Remain Undecided on DE Nick Bosa (Ankle) Playing Until Sunday

The 49ers defense, who were a GPP-winning unit last week, could be without one of their best players against the Bengals. DE Nick Bosa is currently listed as questionable due to the same ankle injury that held him out of the preseason and made him questionable to play in Week 1. In the season opener, the rookie recorded a sack and six QB pressures, while playing 38 of 69 snaps.

Jets Le’Veon Bell (Shoulder) Probable for Monday Night, May not be on Snap Count

Bell’s recent MRI exam revealed the running back has no structural damage in his sore shoulder. After posting 92 total yards, six receptions, and a score in his first NFL action since 2017, Bell will once again be heavily relied upon, especially with QB Sam Darnold (illness) ruled out for Monday night vs. Cleveland. Bell played 100% of the offensive snaps last week and should see a similar workload, according to Coach Adam Gase.

The Jets got more good news regarding middle linebacker C.J. Mosley, who is hopeful his groin injury won’t keep him out of Monday night’s game. Mosley produced a pick-six, five tackles, and two passes defensed before leaving the game late in the third quarter vs. the Bills last week.

Redskins Shorthanded at Defensive Line Against Cowboys

Defensive linemen Treyvon Hester and T.Y. McGill signed with Washington in September and are expected to see significant playing time on Sunday due to the injuries to Jonathan Allen and Caleb Brantley.

While Ezekiel Elliot is not in cash game consideration this week given his uncertain workload as he works his way back into football shape, Washington’s injuries up front make him a more interesting GPP target at low ownership.

Keke Coutee, Texans Offense Healthy for Week 2

Keke Coutee will make his debut Week 2, practicing fully all week and not carrying any injury designation into the weekend. Will Fuller, DeAndre Hopkins and Deshaun Watson all do not have injury designations either, meaning the Texans will have all their offensive weapons available. Kenny Stills value takes a slight hit with the return of Keke Coutee.

Tavon Austin

Tavon Austin (Concussion) Out Week 2

Austin will miss Week 2 with a concussion. He had a minor role in the offense Week 1, getting just 1 target, so it isn’t a significant loss for the Cowboys passing game.

J.J. Nelson

J.J. Nelson (Ankle) Out Week 2

Nelson will be out Week 2 after not receiving a target Week 1. This means 1 fewer WR to compete with for the guys lower on the WR depth chart like Hunter Renfrow (3 targets Week 1) and Dwayne Harris (1 target).

Albert Wilson

Las Vegas Raiders

Albert Wilson (Calf, Hip) Out Week 2

Albert Wilson will miss the Dolphins Week 2 game against the Patriots. The Dolphins are nearly 3 touchdown underdogs and losing Wilson won’t help. DeVante Parker will be the top target for QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, but the defense will be able to focus heavily on him. It is going to be tough to find DFS value in Miami this season.

Trey Burton (Groin) Limited in Practice, Questionable Week 2

Burton has made progress with his groin injury but remains questionable for Week 2. He missed Week 1, giving Adam Shaheen the chance to start. Shaheen was not a significant contributor, catching 1 of 2 targets for 6 yards. Burton is a solid pass catcher when healthy, finishing with 54 catches, 569 yards and 6 TD’s in 16 games last season for the Bears.

Tyler Lockett

Las Vegas Raiders
9/13/19, 2:08 PM ET

Tyler Lockett (Back) “Fine” For Week 2

Pete Carroll talked about Tyler Lockett on the radio Friday, saying that the WR was “fine” and had a good day Thursday. He should be considered probable to play, barring any sort of set back. He was the projected top option coming into the season, but D.K. Metcalf is making a push for the role, catching 4 of 6 targets for 89 yards Week 1. Lockett only got 2 targets but made them count, catching 1 for a 44-yard TD.

Jordan Reed (Concussion) Out Week 2

Reed will miss his second consecutive game with a concussion, meaning Vernon Davis will remain in the starting role. Davis had an incredible 48-yard TD Week 1 and finished with 4 catches on 7 targets for 59 yards and the 1 TD.

Marqise Lee

San Francisco 49ers
9/13/19, 9:42 PM ET

Marqise Lee (Knee) Questionable, LT Cam Robinson (Knee) Out Week 2

Marqise Lee is questionable for Week 2, while left tackle Cam Robinson is confirmed out. Robinson was out last week as well, but the Jaguars only gave up 1 sack for 3 yards. Lee missed all of 2018 and didn’t get a target Week 1. The Jaguars may opt to play it safe given his injury history. Even if he is healthy there is limited upside.
