YAHOO! Special: Pay Down for this WR
I like to pay down for at least one wide receiver, and Gallup feels overdue, running past defensive backs every week but watching Dak Prescott misfire. Indy’s secondary will be focusing on Amari Cooper, giving Gallup 1-on-1 opportunities if and when the Cowboys want to take downfield shots.
Spencer Ware officially inactive; Damien Williams will start, Charcandrick West also active; Eric Berry officially active
Spencer Ware officially inactive. Damien Williams will draw the start at RB, with Charcandrick West acting in a complementary role as it’s his first game action of the season. Like Justin Jackson, Williams is a very strong $/point play on this slate and is also a recommended option for Thurs-Sun/Thurs-Mon contests. Eric Berry is also officially active, which should make it a little tougher for the Chargers to move the ball via the middle of the field.

Melvin Gordon, Austin Ekeler both officially inactive Thursday, as expected. Justin Jackson is arguably the best $/point play on the Showdown slate and should see a full allotment of work with Detrez Newsome likely acting in a complementary role, mostly on passing downs. Newsome is worth a GPP dart throw in lineups that don’t feature Jackson.

Melvin Gordon expected to sit on Thursday night. This is somewhat surprising given that he traveled with the team to KC, but when asked by reporters if he was going to play tonight, Gordon shook his head no. With Austin Ekeler also out, Justin Jackson should latch onto bell-cow duties, making him a very strong play for Showdown slates and in Thurs-Mon leagues. Detrez Newsome figures to work in a complementary role.
As reported by: Omar Ruiz Other tagged players: Justin Jackson, Detrez NewsomeDavid Johnson (quad) returns to limited practice Thursday
Johnson returned to a limited practice on Thursday after sitting out Wednesday’s session. Johnson is still expected to play in Sunday’s matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, and the Cardinals are just limiting his reps since he’s averaged nearly 23 touches per game since Week 8, which ranks fourth among all running backs. It may seem as if Chase Edmonds is stealing Johnson’s snaps, but that really hasn’t been the case outside of two vultured touchdowns in Week 13’s contest. Johnson should continue to be heavily involved in the passing game and receive the bulk of the running back carries, putting him in tremendous position versus the Falcons 31st-ranked defense in rush DVOA on the season.
As reported by: Darren Urban via TwitterPrice is Lagging
It feels a bit weird listing Dalvin Cook as a core play but I really think pricing is lagging on Cook’s increased role. The following is Cook’s snap rates for the last three weeks, starting with Week 12: 58.6%, 77%, 86.2%. Cook has not only been unleashed in terms of snap rate but also in terms of touches: he’s averaged 17.5 touches the last two weeks. Dalvin is in line for 20+ touches in this spot as the Vikings are 7-point home favorites against a Dolphins defense that has been below average against the run all season long. Cook is egregiously priced on FanDuel where he’s priced as RB17 but I still think he’s a core play on DraftKings (RB7) and Yahoo! (RB5) as well.
RB Elijah McGuire will play Saturday while RB Trenton Cannon is questionable
With Crowell already ruled out for Saturday, McGuire will take over lead back duties and now potentially a bell-cow role if Cannon joins Crowell on the sidlelines with a toe injury. At close to the minimum across sites, McGuire should be considered in both scenarios, however expectations should still be tempered as the Jets are projected for less than 18 points on Saturday against a respectable Texans defensive front.
As reported by: @Texans Other tagged players: Trenton CannonRB David Johnson returns to practice Thursday
Johnson is on track to play in Week 15, where a mouthwatering matchup awaits against a Falcons defense that is ranked nearly dead last in rush defense and has allowed the most receptions and receiving yards to running backs this season. With the Cardinals being large underdogs, look for their bell-cow to be heavily utilized in the passing game.
As reported by: Darren UrbanWR T.Y. Hilton (ankle) not practicing again on Thursday
Hilton has gone the same route the past couple weeks before returning to Friday’s practice so he’s still likely to play in Week 15 as the Colts continue their playoff push. After amassing nearly 200 receiving yards in last week’s upset win against the Texans, Hilton will face a tougher matchup against a Cowboys defense that has severely limited outside receivers of late. Nonetheless, the Colts WR1 still possesses great upside most games, particularly at home, where he’ll be playing this week.
As reported by: Kevin BowenWR Allen Robinson practicing Thursday
Head Coach Matt Nagy shared that it was simply a maintenance day for the Bears receiver. He should be out there for his normal allotment of snaps on Sunday against Green Bay, where he’s likely to lead the Bears wideouts in targets again.
As reported by: @ChicagoBearsRB Isaiah Crowell (toe) and WR Quincy Enunwa (ankle) ruled out for Saturday
Eli McGuire would be in line for lead back duties in Week 15 but he is also questionable with an ankle injury. If McGuire joins Crowell on the sidelines, expect Trenton Cannon to soak up most or possibly all of the backfield snaps at essentially the minimum price across sites. Robby Anderson should easily lead the team in targets with Enunwa out and his matchup against a Texans secondary isn’t imposing. However, expectations should still be tempered as the Jets are projected for less than 18 points on Saturday.
As reported by: Eric Allen Other tagged players: Quincy Enunwa, Elijah McGuire, Trenton CannonRB LeSean McCoy (hamstring) back at practice Thursday
It remains to be seen how limited he was at Thursday’s practice, but the return would seem to make the Bills RB1 at least questionable for Sunday after pulling his hamstring early in Week 14. Chris Ivory would lead the backfield if McCoy can’t suit up and could be set up better than normal with the Bills in a rare home favorite position.
As reported by: Joe Buscaglia Other tagged players: Chris IvoryEzekiel Elliot Will Practice today
Jason Garrett said Zeke Elliott will practice today but Zack Martin won’t. It’s a good sign Elliot will be able to play on Sunday, but it would be very concerning for him to be without the best lineman Dallas has left standing for this game. Martin’s absence would be very detrimental to Dallas. More updates will follow throughout the week.

DeSean Jackson and Justin Evans are out again at practice today. Perhaps another ride on the Chris Godwin train this weekend.
As reported by: Pewter ReportQuincy Enunwa (ankle) not at practice.
WR Quincy Enunwa (ankle) not at practice today. RBs Eli McGuire (ankle) and Trenton Cannon (toe) are suited up. The Jets are somewhat of a wasteland in fantasy right now, but perhaps we can extract some value at RB on this team if the correct pieces fall into place.
