LeSean McCoy remains in a non-contact jersey Thursday
McCoy has practiced in limited fashion the past couple days, suggesting he’ll be on the field Sunday against Minnesota. The running back has damaged rib cartilage and is expected to wear protective gear if he does play. McCoy should not be on fantasy radars no matter his status given the state of Buffalo’s offense coupled with a stout Minnesota defense.

This is a bit unexpected, as nothing had been reported about a Lynch injury after the running back handled 20 touches on Sunday. It’s likely more of a maintenance day for Lynch and more about his status will be known later in the week. Doug Martin would see early-down work with Jalen Richard getting passing downs if Lynch were to miss time.

Travis Benjamin left practice early with a trainer, while Antonio Gates failed to participate at all with an illness. Both are squarely behind teammates Keenan Allen, Mike Williams and Tyrell Williams for targets but their absences would bump up the healthy trio.
As reported by: Sam Fortier Other tagged players: Antonio GatesLeonard Fournette practices on a limited basis
DiRocco noted that this was the first practice for Fournette since he injured his right hamstring in Week 1. A return this week becomes increasingly likely with each day of participation, and Fournette’s status appears to be trending toward active this weekend. His return would greatly decrease the value of T.J. Yeldon and Corey Grant is cheaper RB options, though Fournette himself would be in play against Tennessee on sites that don’t weigh receptions heavily.

Doesn’t sound like anything major for the Ravens’ lead back and he should be back out there later in the week. Javorius Allen would step in as the primary rusher if Collins were to miss time, though he’ll continue to eat into the starter’s workload even if both are healthy.

This injury is a bit out of nowhere, and fantasy owners are put in a familiar situation with the oft-injured wide receiver. Practice participation tomorrow and on Friday will be key for Jones, while Calvin Ridley and Mohamed Sanu would be worthy options in fantasy lineups if he misses Sunday’s contest.

The running back mentioned he was taking it “day by day,” so more info should emerge later in the week regarding his status. Latavius Murray would be the obvious candidate to see the majority of touches in the Minnesota backfield if Cook were to miss Sunday’s game against Buffalo. Murray would be an excellent and inexpensive option versus th.lowly Bills if he were to get the starting nod/.
As reported by: Courtney Cronin Other tagged players: Latavius MurraySteve Wilks says WR Larry Fitzgerald was limited in practice (hamstring) but will play Sunday vs Bears
The veteran wide receiver missed most of the second half with the injury last week against Los Angeles, but as Wilks said at the time, it appears the issue is minor. Arizona’s offense has been an absolute mess, but Fitzgerald will maintain a healthy target share and should get plenty of volume against Chicago. That said, it will be hard to trust any Cardinals pass catchers until Josh Rosen takes over for a struggling Sam Bradford.

T.Y. Hilton (quad), Jack Doyle (hip), and Marlon Mack (quad/hamstring) all registered DNP’s at Wednesday’s practice. None of them were reported to have injuries or appeared to miss snaps during Sunday’s win over the Redskins, so this was likely a rest day for the Colts’ skill players. Mack should continue splitting snaps with rookie RB Jordan Wilkins, while Hilton and Doyle remain QB Andrew Luck’s favorite targets on Sunday against the Eagles in a game that has sneaky shootout potential.

This is the first time Goodwin has practiced in any capacity since going down with a quad bruise in Week 1, giving the speedy wide receiver a chance to play on Sunday. He could not pick a better matchup to come back for as the Chiefs rank 32nd in pass defense after 2 games and are still expected to be missing S Eric Berry. Rookie wideout Dante Pettis would see his snaps significantly scaled back if Goodwin suits up.

The receiving tight end is still expected to play in Week 3 despite picking up an ankle injury in Sunday night’s game against the Cowboys. He ended up with a nice line (7-67-1) in that one buoyed by a late garbage time TD. He has a middling matchup against the Texans this week.
As reported by: Pat LeonardRB Devonta Freeman (knee) not at practice Wednesday
Freeman isn’t going to play this week. Tevin Coleman will lead the Falcons’ backfield again after a solid outing against a respectable Carolina run defense, totaling 125 yards on 20 touches. Rookie Ito Smith took over a decent portion of Coleman’s old role with 10 touches of his own so we shouldn’t expect bell-cow usage while Freeman is out. Still, as a home favorite in Sunday’s second highest total game, Coleman is set up for success again and still provides value this week despite his price increase across the industry.
As reported by: Orlando Ledbetter Other tagged players: Tevin Coleman, Ito SmithRB Dalvin Cook (hamstring) practicing today
The second-year back left last week’s game in overtime after cramping up but it’s been reported he resumed practicing today and should be out there in Week 3. He has a 75-25 split going with Latavius Murray after 2 games and the running game should be utilized heavily on Sunday as the Vikings are a 17-point home favorite against the Bills.
As reported by: Andrew Krammer Other tagged players: Latavius MurrayWR Jarvis Landry (knee) questionable for TNF
The veteran wideout was limited at practice this week and is now listed as questionable for Thursday. It’s more likely the Browns are simply preserving their WR1 ahead of their quick turnaround game against the Jets. Landry is averaging 11 targets a game thus far and figures to stay in that range given the release of Josh Gordon. If he can’t suit up, you can expect Antonio Callaway and Rashard Higgins to play nearly 100% of snaps as no other Browns receivers saw the field in Week 2. Despite TE David Njoku’s dismal numbers through 2 games, he has seen 7 targets in each. Expect that to be his floor target projection if Landry were to sit.

Jeffery (shoulder) is not expected to play on Sunday against the Colts, being described as ‘week-to-week’ by the team, but his presence at practice does bode well for his chances to return in the next couple weeks. The Eagles signed Jordan Matthews today who should be a fixture in 3-WR sets for the time being and will likely push WR Nelson Agholor out of the slot. Sproles appears to be doubtful for Sunday’s game and Ajayi looks to be more questionable. If both backs miss, RB Corey Clement would likely slide into the team’s lead role and become a popular value target at just $4,300 on DraftKings attached to a 6-point home favorite.
