Detroit Lions
Matthew Stafford is active, as expected based on earlier reports, although he is certainly still not at 100%.
New England Patriots
James White is active today and could see some additional work with Damien Harris ruled out. Sony Michel should get the most carries of the RBs, while J.J. Taylor will work as the third RB.
Miami Dolphins
Salvon Ahmed is officially active, a big hit to the value of DeAndre Washington, and creating a crowded Miami backfield. Ahmed should get the most work, then DeAndre Washington, but Matt Breida is also returning. Mike Gesicki, DeVante Parker and Jakeem Grant are all out, so it is fair to be concerned that the Dolphins’ offense struggles.
Washington Football Team
Antonio Gibson is inactive today, as expected after he was listed as doubtful. Peyton Barber and J.D. McKissic will be the top RBs for the Football Team.
Baltimore Ravens
Mark Ingram is inactive today, a healthy scratch one week after playing just one snap. J.K. Dobbins is in a good position to get the most work, with Gus Edwards also being involved in the offense. Justice Hill is unlikely to get much work as the third RB.
Tennessee Titans
Geoff Swaim is inactive Sunday, opening up some work for Anthony Firkser and MyCole Pruitt behind top TE Jonnu Smith.
Baltimore Ravens
Confirming what had already been reported yesterday, the Ravens officially activated Marquise Brown, Miles Boykin and James Proche from the Reserve/COVID-19 list Sunday morning, meaning they all are eligible to play today. They were all placed on the list due to a close contact, not a positive test, which is why they were able to return so quickly.
Washington Football Team
Antonio Gibson reportedly will not play today, confirming what we already expected given his doubtful designation this week. J.D. McKissic and Peyton Barber will share the ground work, with McKissic having a higher upside due to his involvement in the passing game.
Tennessee Titans
Kalif Raymond has been placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, and will be out Sunday. With just two targets and zero catches total over the past six weeks, his absence is not significant.
New Orleans Saints
Deonte Harris has been placed on injured reserve, meaning he is out at least until the end of the regular season. His absence is a small boost for WRs like Juwan Johnson and Tommylee Lewis, although neither should be expected to have a sizable role in the offense.
Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins elevated Isaiah Ford and Chris Myarick to the active roster on Saturday, potentially a sign they expect to be missing at least one of their players currently listed as questionable. The Miami situation needs to be monitored closely.
Pittsburgh Steelers
James Conner is officially listed as questionable for Monday night, after getting in two limited practices to finish the week. Conner does appear on track to play, but this is worth monitoring, as Benny Snell and Jaylen Samuels would get nice boosts if Conner was out.
Los Angeles Chargers
Mike Williams (back) not expected to play Thursday night. Tyron Johnson figures to pick up a bunch of extra playing time on the outside, and his target share could rise even further if Keenan Allen is limited, which is expected. Jalen Guyton is another potential beneficiary while Hunter Henry should see added looks. in the middle of the field. Austin Ekeler is questionable but is expected to play, and he’s yet another candidate to see a boosted target share. We’ll pass along inactives when they are released.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Anthony McFarland is inactive Sunday night. With James Conner active, the Steelers clearly do not need McFarland, even as a backup option.
Washington Football Team
Dontrelle Inman is inactive Sunday, and Robert Foster will work as the fifth WR option for the Football Team.
