Green and Parsons will play in tonight’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers after previously being listed as probable on the Grizzlies’ injury report with knee injuries that had forced them to miss one game. Their return to the starting lineup will send Zach Randolph and James Ennis back to the bench to resume their normal reserve roles. Additionally, Troy Daniels has been officially ruled out after originally being listed as questionable, and now that he is unavailable for a third consecutive game, there could be a couple more minutes available for likes of Ennis and Vince Carter.

Tony Parker will return to the starting lineup tonight against the Pelicans after missing four games due to a sore foot. Parker is not a high-upside play since he is not expected to play over 30 minutes and will likely be rested if the game gets out of hand. Kawhi Leonard returns to the starting lineup after missing two games due to a sore left hand. Leonard had scored 30 or more actual points in six straight starts before sitting those two games out. Leonard will be a strong GPP option since most users won’t play him due to his inflated salary and iffy status.

Lopez and LeVert will both be rested and won’t play in tonight’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. With Trevor Booker already ruled out due to an illness, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson will draw the start at power forward alongside Justin Hamilton in the Brooklyn frontcourt. A legitimate case can be made for nearly every single active Nets player on this slate, but they are all better reserved for tournaments given the unpredictability of the Nets’ rotation and high probability of a blowout. This news has a greater impact on the big three of Cleveland, as they are now unlikely to see their full compliment of minutes and should be removed from cash game consideration entirely.

Gordon will not play in tonight’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers after previously being listed as doubtful on the Rockets’ injury report due to lower back tightness. Corey Brewer will step into his backup shooting guard role to some extent, but Sam Dekker will also see his minutes and role increase with Gordon unavailable. With that said, Dekker remains a viable value option at small forward, especially in tournaments. According to our CourtIQ tool, Trevor Ariza actually leads the Rockets with a 2.4% usage rate differential (17.7%) and becomes a slightly more intriguing option now that Gordon has been officially ruled out.

Fournier will not play in today’s game against the Boston Celtics due to a sore right foot that has now forced him to miss seven consecutive games. C.J. Watson will draw the start at shooting guard, replacing Jeff Green in the first unit after one game. Watson should be expected to continue handling a majority of the minutes at shooting guard, however, he is a volatile daily fantasy option that doesn’t realistically possess an attainable ceiling. Additionally, D.J. Augustin is available to play off the bench and will also absorb some of the vacated shooting guard minutes in addition to his normal backup point guard role. According to our CourtIQ tool, Augustin owns a positive 3.9% usage rate differential (25.3%) with Meeks and Fournier off the court this season. Augustin is an intriguing tournament option on Friday’s slate, despite coming off the bench, and should see at least 25-28 minutes of action, health permitting.

Dante Cunningham will also replace Terrence Jones in the starting lineup at power forward. Given Davis’ injury history, especially recently, he is better reserved for tournaments only and in a difficult matchup with San Antonio, he isn’t a particularly high-upside power forward and/or center option.

Additionally, Jeremy Lamb will be available to play off the bench, but there hasn’t been any confirmation on whether he will actually see any playing time. Frank Kaminsky and Spencer Hawes will be the only true big men available for Charlotte behind Hibbert and both are viable tournament punts in an exploitable matchup with the Knicks’ frontcourt defense.

However, both Wade and Butler will now see reduced ownership in tournaments, making them high-risk, high-reward options from a game theory perspective.

Horford will not play in tonight’s game against the Orlando Magic despite not appearing on the Celtics’ injury report with a groin injury he sustained in Wednesday’s win over the Houston Rockets. Amir Johnson will be reinserted into the starting lineup at center in place of Horford, while Jonas Jerebko remains at power forward. Kelly Olynyk will be the primary big man off the bench for Boston and joins Johnson and Jerebko as viable punt options in tournaments. With Horford and Avery Bradley off the court this season, Jae Crowder (22.5%) and Isaiah Thomas (39.8%) both own usage rate differentials north of 4.4%, making them both fantastic options in all formats this evening.

No surprises here, as this was thought to be the case as of last night. Lavoy Allen will pick up a few extra minutes behind Thaddeus Young, while a combination of Monta Ellis, Glenn Robinson, C.J. Miles and potentially Joe Young will eat up what’s left behind by Stuckey. There aren’t any real DFS implications here, but it’s worth noting that Miles has been starting at the SG spot and is seeing around 30 minutes per contest in that role. While his usage likely won’t be as high as it would be with the second unit, that type of court time makes him a viable minimum priced GPP punt.
