Brandon Knight (hand) available to play tonight
Knight will reportedly be available to play in tonight’s game against the San Antonio Spurs after being listed as questionable on the Suns’ injury report with a sprained right hand. There has yet to be any official confirmation on whether Knight will actually see the court, though it can safely be assumed that he will see his normal allotment of minutes off the bench barring any setbacks in pregame warmups. Knight is not a viable option in any format given the re-injury risk and less than ideal matchup with this Spurs squad in a pace down game for Phoenix.

Wilson Chandler starting over Darrell Arthur tonight
Chandler will draw the start at power forward ahead of Darrell Arthur for tonight’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers. This move was a long time coming, as the Nuggets have been an exponentially better team with the front court duo of Chandler and Nikola Jokic on the floor together. Speaking of Jokic, he will also be inserted into the Nuggets starting lineup for tonight’s contest. Jokic was already one the top power forward options on the slate, and news that he will start and likely see around 30 minutes, only further cements that status. These moves will send Darrell Arthur and Jusuf Nurkic to bench to assume reserve roles..

Aminu has officially been ruled out for tonight’s game against the Denver Nuggets due to a lower back contusion that has caused him to be sidelined for two consecutive games now. Noah Vonleh will draw the start at power forward once again in his absence, though it’s been nearly impossible to predict Trail Blazers coach Terry Stotts’ rotation at power forward sans Aminu regardless of starter. It will be tough to pull the trigger on any of Portland’s power forwards in a less than ideal matchup with the Nuggets frontcourt, as they are one of the better rebounding teams in the entire Association. Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum remain the elite options to target in any format, while Maurice Harkless and Evan Turner are viable secondary options.

Len and Warren will not play in tonight’s game against the San Antonio Spurs after being listed as questionable on the Suns’ injury report with a hip and head injury respectively. Tyson Chandler will continue to see a majority of the center minutes in Len’s absence and is a viable tournament option on sites where he remains fairly priced, as he will likely see north of 32 minutes in this contest barring a blowout. In Warren’s absence, P.J. Tucker will continue to start at small forward, though Eric Bledsoe has been the largest beneficiary, as he has seen a 4.9% increase in usage rate (34.4%) with Warren off the court this season. Bledsoe is an intriguing tournament play this evening in an above average matchup with the Spurs back court defense.

Thomas will reportedly be available to play in tomorrow night’s game against the Charlotte Hornets. His return to the Celtics’ lineup removes Marcus Smart and Terry Rozier from fantasy consideration for the foreseeable future. Both players’ fantasy relevance are tied solely to in an injury the Celtics starting unit and should be avoided in all formats until further notice.

Chandler Parsons (knee) and Mike Conley (back) listed as doubtful for Friday
Parsons and Conley have been upgraded to doubtful for tomorrow night’s game against the Sacramento Kings. Both players are highly unlikely to play, but this is certainly a situation worth monitoring going into Friday’s slate, as they’re availability would remove Andrew Harrison and Troy Williams from fantasy consideration entirely in all likelihood.

Rondo has been confirmed in the starting lineup for tonight’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks after being listed as questionable on the Bulls injury report with an ankle injury. Jerian Grant will head back to the bench to resume a reserve role after having mixed results in the starting unit. Despite Rondo starting status, Jimmy Butler remains an elite option in all formats and is arguably the top small forward on the board this evening. Dwayne sees a slight knock to his fantasy value, as he’ll see less time as the primary ball handler, but is still a viable option in cash games and even tournaments.

Davis’ absence doesn’t have much of an impact on the Grizzlies rotation. Zach Randolph and Jarell Martin will eat up any minutes that Davis would have seen, as the Grizzlies are fairly shorthanded in the front-court due to a multitude of injuries. We could very well see them add another PF/C in the coming days.

Holiday will play and start in tonight’s game against the Indiana Pacers after previously being listed as probable on the Pelicans injury report with a turf toe injury. This news isn’t all that surprising, as Holiday’s status was never really in doubt and his probable designation was likely more out of precaution than anything else. Holiday’s minutes should be extremely secure this evening in a plus matchup against the Pacers’ back court defense with Tim Frazier already ruled out. Tyreke Evans will make his season debut but will be limited to 15 minutes off the bench, opening up additional playing for Langston Galloway and E’Twaun Moore.

Hill remains out of the Jazz lineup, which will allot some extra run to Dante Exum and Shelvin Mack in the backcourt. Neither player is all that interesting while they are splitting minutes, although Mack is certainly the more intriguing upside option of the two. This will likely be a game we’ll want to avoid altogether with two of the slowest paced teams facing off with one another – the Mavericks are actually playing at an even slower pace than the Jazz this year, but both are at the very bottom of the league. Gordon Hayward is the one play on the Utah side that has some merit in this match-up.

Beasley will not play in tonight’s game against the Chicago Bulls due to a sprained left foot. Mirza Teletovic will likely see the largest bump in minutes in Beasley’s absence, though he still carries some substantial risk, even in tournaments, as Bucks coach Jason Kidd has a propensity to shake up his rotation on a moment’s notice. With that said, Teletovic is still a viable tournament value option on an abbreviated slate such as this one.

Wade Baldwin has been sent to Iowa D-League team and Toney Douglas was cut earlier today. This could mean that the return of Mike Conley is imminent. We posted earlier in the day that it was possible Conley would be back. Look for another update tomorrow before the Grizzlies face the Kings.

The Suns have recalled Williams, Ulis, and Jones from their respective D-League teams. This could be an indication that there might be some injured players out of action for tonight. Alex Len missed the Suns previous game and is currently listed as a game-time decision due to a hip injury. Brandon Knight is dealing with a hand injur and also is a game-time decision. We’ll continue to monitor this situation and provide updates as they become available.
