John Wall has been upgraded to a game-time decision but is likely not going to play. Alan Anderson is also a game-time decision but is expected to play. Anderson is a risky low-end option on Friday. He has not played in the last nine games.

Turner will return after a one-game absence, Smart is also in the lineup after suffering an eye injury against the Pelicans. Both players will come off the bench which significantly decreasing their value. With the Celtics favored by 11 points, Turner and Smart could pick up some extra minutes in garbage time.

Batum will return to the starting lineup after missing two games due to a knee injury. His salary did not move on DraftKings and has a potentially high ceiling combined with a low floor. Lamb has missed chunks of the season due to a toe injury and has been ruled out for today.

McCullough will get the start as he performed well in his last appearance. He had 27.1 DKFP against the Wizards on Wednesday and could see over 24 minutes again tonight. This will be McCullough’s 21st game of the season, his first in a starting role. McCollough is not an elite option but deserves tournament consideration. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson returns to the bench.

Alec Burks is expected to play on Friday against a Clippers team lacking any real starters. He is a low-end play on a slate with so many value options. Expect him to have some rust coming off a long layoff.

We have confirmed that Stauskas and Noel will be in the starting lineup against the Hornets. Stauskas played 33 minutes on Tuesday and had 26.4 fpts against the Pelicans. At this point in the season the Sixers are basically dart throws if you are rostering them. With a slate that lacks truly expensive players, Stauskas is simply a viable option.

Ilyasova will get the start because Aaron Gordon is out with a concussion. Ilyasova will be making his first start for the Magic after starting most of the season in Detroit. The Heat are 1st in DvP vs. PFs for the season and 3rd over the last three weeks. This does not bode well for Ilyasova’s upside making him a risky punt option on Friday.

Griffin will not play against the Jazz today but is expected to start against the Mavericks. He is also expected to play on Tuesday against Grizzlies. Griffin’s asking price has fallen below $7k on DraftKings and could exceed value if he plays over 30 minutes. We will provide an update once it becomes official on Sunday.

Taj Gibson and E’Twaun Moore are very unlikely to suit up against the Cavs on Saturday. Gibson has missed the Bulls past five games while Moore has sat out in each of the past two contests, so we can expect the rotation we saw against the Heat on Thursday to remain fairly similar on Saturday. The Cavs are a tough defensive team and the Bulls will have one of the lower team totals on the slate, so they aren’t a team you’ll want to target heavily. Pau Gasol and Jimmy Butler are both viable upside targets, but with the big three healthy it makes it tough to target any one of them confidently.

John Wall (knee) unlikely to play tonight
Wall had an MRI exam that revealed no structural damage but he said he is likely not playing. Wall did not play on Tuesday against the Nets and Ramon Sessions took advantage of the opportunity. Due to the fact that he scored 43.3 fpts in 30 minutes, expect Sessions ownership levels to be through the roof. The Pistons is fighting for the Wizards for the final spot in the playoffs but is a healthier team overall. With the Pistons being favored by seven points right now, we can expect Sessions ceiling to be slightly lower than 40 fpts.

Darrell Arthur will miss his third consecutive game against the Spurs. Joffery Lauvergne will be the Nuggets primary big off the bench. Lavergne’s asking price is cheaper on DK than he is on FD ($3,300/$3,800), making him a viable low-end play. Nurkic is still the higher-upside big man but Lauvergne would instantly see his value increase significantly if Jokic or Nurkic get into foul trouble. Lauvergne is producing 1 FP/MIN in his last two contests and could play 24-28 minutes tonight. Jokic has the highest ceiling of the Nuggets big men, having produced a handful of 48+ fpts games this season.

Jusuf Nurkic will be starting alongside Nikola Jokic on Friday. Joffery Lauvergne will be the primary backup with Kenneth Faried’s minutes also expected to be cut. Nurkic has the most upside of the Nuggets big men against the Spurs B-Team. Nurkic’s salary is $3,700 on DK and $4,400 on FD, making him an excellent play on DK. Jurkic is still a strong play on FanDuel where the position scarcity makes him a viable option. Since the trade deadline,11 games ago, Nurkic has played 20+ minutes in four contests. He averaged 28.87 FD/30.73DK in those four games but also did not play in three of the eleven games, so we only have an eight-game sample. In the remaining four games that he did not play 20+ minutes, Nurkic averaged 20.92 DKFP, showing us that his floor makes him an elite value option.

The Spurs are resting their core group of players tonight although strangely Tim Duncan is not listed on their injury report – he shouldn’t get much playing time tonight however and should be avoided at all costs. The Spurs we want to target are Kyle Anderson, Patty Mills, David West, Jonathan Simmons, Kevin Martin, and Boban Marjanovich. All are appealing due to their expected playing time and salary but predicting exactly where the fantasy scoring will come from will be tough. We’d expect Kyle Anderson, Patty Mills, and David West to lead the way in terms of production but the other three have all shown huge upside in the past and are worthy of consideration in GPP’s.

Austin Rivers OUT tonight; Jeff Green will play for Clippers
The Clippers are already resting Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, J.J. Reddick, and DeAndre Jordan so Rivers absence means they will have nine players available for tonight’s game against the Jazz. It’s a tough match up as the Jazz are an elite defensive unit but someone has to produce for the Clippers and the minutes will be there for all nine players. Pablo Prigioni, Jamal Crawford, and Cole Aldrich are probably the top three options to target with Crawford being the best of that group given his expected usage.
