Brandon Bass will play tonight
Bass will take the floor tonight against the Suns. He’s been dealing with an eye issue this week which cost him a game against Sacramento on Tuesday, but should take on his normal allotment of minutes on Friday. Julius Randle’s value doesn’t really change, but Larry Nance and Tarik Black should now see fewer front-court minutes.

Kobe Bryant "75-25" to play tonight
It’s looking like Kobe will take the floor tonight against the Suns after sitting out against the Kings earlier this week. Bryant is still a very risky GPP target at this stage, especially in a game he’s probably not going to “get up” for. D’Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson both take a step back with Kobe in the lineup, and the Lakers in general are a tougher team to target when Bryant is healthy. We’ll confirm Kobe’s status later in the day.

After missing the last game with lower back soreness, Kenneth Faried is listed as questionable for the Nuggets game on Saturday against the Hornets. Darrell Arthur is likely to start in his place if he can’t go but he’s hard to trust for DFS purposes after putting up just 5.2 FanDuel fpts in 17 minutes last game when he started for Faried. We’ll update Faried’s status tomorrow when more information comes in.

David Lee questionable for Mavericks tonight
Lee tweaked a groin injury last game and is uncertain if he will play tonight. If he is able to go, it’ll be against his former team the Golden State Warriors. If you believe in the revenge game narrative, this game has that written all over it. Lee is moderately priced at $4.8K on both major sites and has been consistent over his last 10 games putting up at least 20 FanDuel fpts in eight of those contests. If Lee is unable to go, expect Zaza Pachulia to see an uptick in minutes. We’ll update Lee’ s status later today when we learn more.

He’s still not feeling 100% after experiencing shortness of breath in the teams last game, but Jackson went through shootaround and will play for the Pistons tonight when they take on Sacramento. It’s a juicy match up for Jackson as the Kings are 24th in PG DvP and 29th in fantasy points allowed per game but there is always worry that he might be limited in some fashion. He makes for an excellent GPP play and Steve Blake could see an uptick in minutes if Jackson can’t give his usual allotment of minutes.

Jerebko did not travel with the team and will miss at least the next two games for the Celtics. While he had flashed some potential with two 20+ fpt outings in his last three games, the return of Kelly Olynyk limited his playing time and relegated him to DFS irrelevance. Expect Olynyk to pick up the slack tonight against the Raptors – it’s not the best match up as the Raptors are 4th in the league in fantasy points allowed. Olynyk is only center eligible and there are much better options out there tonight.

As expected, Vucevic will not play tonight when the Magic take on the Cleveland Cavaliers while PG Elfrid Payton will be a game-time decision. Dewayne Dedmon and Jason Smith should continue to split time at center for Vucevic but neither is a viable DFS option tonight going against a Cavaliers team that is first in the league in C DvP. Brandon Jennings is no longer a lock minimum priced punt play as a starter if Payton sits as his price is in the mid $4K range now. However, he’s still a viable option if he can put up similar numbers to what he has the last two games as a starter (62.7 combinded FanDuel fpts in just 50 minutes of play). Cleveland’s one soft spot defensively is the PG position where they are just 18th in DvP. We’ll update you on Payton’s status later today when more information comes in.

Lance Stephenson will be starting at PG for the Grizzlies on Thursday. Stephenson should be considered a great play for both tournaments and cash games. Stephenson should play 30+ minutes against the Bucks. Briante Weber will come off the bench and his value takes a considerable hit off the bench.

Joe Ingles making second consecutive start for Gordon Hayward
Joe Ingles will start again for Gordon Hayward but is a low-end DFS option. Even while playing 37 minutes on Monday, Ingles was only able to put up 17 DKFP. With Hayward out of the lineup, Rodney Hood and Derrick Favors benefit the most. Both Hood and Favors should be able to dominate the Suns on Thursday

Vince Carter will miss his fourth consecutive game with a strained calf. Lance Stephenson has played extremely well with the Grizzlies so depleted and should be a viable target again tonight. Stephenson is averaging 44.9 DKFP in the last three games that he has played.

Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler will start against the Nets. Both players get plus matchup and should be able to dominate. Rose and Butler are viable tournament targets with the game total projected at 213 (2nd highest of the night).

Taj Gibson will be starting against the Nets on Thursday. With Gibson in the lineup, Bobby Portis’ value takes a considerable hit. Gibson could still be limited and Brook Lopez should be able to take advantage.

Sergey Karasev will be starting at SG but is a low-end DFS play against the Bulls. Karasev has not scored over 14 fantasy points this season, making it tough to recommend him even though he is starting. With Wayne Ellington going to the bench, he too is not a viable DFS option.

Kenneth Faried has been ruled out and Darrell Arthur will be starting in his place. Arthur should be considered a strong punt candidate if he can secure 28+ minutes against the Hawks. With the news coming after lineups locked, Arthur could be low-owned for the all day slate on DraftKings.

Both Joffrey Lauvergne (cheekbone) and Jusuf Nurkic (knee) will be available to play against the Hawks. With Nikola Jokic entrenched as the starter, Lauvergne and Nurkic can only be used for tournaments. Nurkic did not play on Tuesday while Lauvergne served as Jokic’s backup and played 23 minutes. Jokic does not provide much upside with his salary over $6k, making the Lauvergne the better play. Mike Malone’s rotation has been all over the place this season so none of the players are locks to exceed value.
