Zach Randolph (knee) officially ruled out
Zach Randolph has been confirmed out due to his knee injury tonight. Expect his replacement JaMychal Green to be heavily owned coming off a 50.5 DKFP night. Green’s salary raised $800 on DraftKings but he is still a solid punt option at $4,500. Green gets a favorable matchup against the Celtics who are ranked 26th in DvP against power forwards.

Norris Cole (back) has been ruled out; Orlando Johnson will start in his place
Norris Cole has been officially ruled out of tonight’s contest against the Hornets. D-League call-up Orlando Johnson will start in his place but will not accrue fantasy points tonight. Johnson is on a 10-day contract and could stick in the starting lineup if Cole has to miss extended time.

Nerlens Noel will return to the starting lineup tonight but will be limited to only 25 minutes. Noel is tournament option against the Rockets but has a really low floor with his restriction. Expect to see Carl Landry and Elton Brand playing the backup minutes at center tonight. Both Landry and Brand are low-end DFS options and come with considerable risk. The Sixers will keep the rest of their starting lineup the same with Ish Smith, Hollis Thompson, Robert Covington, and Jerami Grant.

Jared Sullinger was hospitalized with a skin infection yesterday but has healed enough to play today. Sullinger’s questionable tag will lead to him having low ownership tonight, making him appealing in tournaments. Sullinger is averaging 34.24 DKFP over his last five games and has not scored under 25 DKFP since the All-Star break. Sullinger presents a nice floor with legit upside tonight against the Grizzlies. Kelly Olynyk is still out with a shoulder injury and will miss his 10th straight game.

Lou Williams is likely out on Thursday against the Cavs. Marcelo Huertas has been performing well in his absence, averaging 22.45 DKFP over his last four games. Once Williams is confirmed out, Huertas will make for a solid punt play on a four-game slate.

Ben McLemore and Seth Curry have been ruled out for tonight, while Marco Belinelli is considered questionable. James Anderson is likely to re-enter the rotation and Belinelli would likely see a slight uptick in playing time if he’s able to play considering McLemore’s absence. There isn’t a whole lot of DFS relevance here as most of the Kings production comes from DeMarcus Cousins, Rajon Rondo and Rudy Gay, none of whom really benefit from this.

Kobe Bryant "50-50" to play Thursday
Kobe sat last night when he was given a 50-50 shot to suit up, and both Jordan Clarkson and D’Angelo Russell posted productive fantasy lines in big minutes. If Bryant isn’t able to take the court again tomorrow, both would again be very solid point per dollar targets, albeit in a fairly tough spot against the Cavs. Nick Young would likely draw another start Thursday, but his poor performance last night may force Byron Scott to go in a different direction.

Hood is questionable for tonight with lower back soreness. Apparently Hood has been dealing with this since just after the All-Star break, but it hasn’t slowed him down much to date. His scoring has dropped off a bit with Derrick Favors back and a shoot-first point guard now at the helm, but Hood still provides nice upside at a mid-range price tag. If he’s not able to go tonight, Joe Ingles or Chris Johnson would likely start in his place.

Updating a report from yesterday, Iguodala remains questionable for tonight’s game against the Jazz. The Warriors shootaround concluded recently and it appears that he was able to contribute in some capacity, but his status for tonight is still up in the air. We may not have word before lineups lock at 7 ET, but Harrison Barnes and Brandon Rush are the beneficiaries if Iguodala misses another game. Barnes would be a dart-throw GPP play only against a very slow paced Jazz team, while Rush isn’t in DFS consideration.

Mozgov missed the second half of the teams last game and is battling an illness that has him questionable for the Cavaliers game tonight against the Kings. Mozgov himself is not a viable DFS option but his absence could mean a few more minutes for Tristan Thompson which puts him into consideration as a under $5K value play if it means he will get more than 30 minutes of playing time. The last four games Thompson has played 30 minutes or more he’s averaged a minimum of a fpt per minute and his recent reduced playing time has led to a decrease in his price. The match up against the Kings is a good one as well considering they are second to last in the league in fantasy points allowed per game. We’ll update you on Mozgov’s availability when it becomes available.

Bradley Beal rejoins Wizards; hopeful to play on Friday
After taking a hard fall this past weekend and missing the team’s most recent game against Portland, Beal has rejoined the team and is hopeful to play when they take on the Utah Jazz this Friday. Beal hasn’t done much of late, only topping 20 FanDuel fpts in 3 of his last 9 games and in a tough match up against the Jazz coming off an injury he’s best avoided. We’ll update you on his status Friday when it becomes available.

Bulls Head Coach Fred Hoiberg stated that Brooks would be available and that he is hopeful Portis will be as well – Portis is considered a game-time decision. We’ll update his status tomorrow when more information becomes available.

It looks as if Butler could miss more than just Thursday’s game as he stated he’s not going to rush back just for the sake of playing. Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol see an increase in usage with Butler out and E’Twaun Moore will get more playing time as a result.

Cole did not take part in the morning shootaround for the Pelicans but stated that he would see how he felt pre-game before making a decision as to whether he was playing tonight or not. Cole had an excellent game on Monday against the Kings but has a tougher match up against Kemba Walker and the Hornets tonight. If he is unable to go, Toney Douglas would see more playing time and would be in play as a value option. We’ll update Cole’s status as soon as we learn more.

There was some concern that Whiteside would miss tonight’s game after missing practice yesterday with an illness but he took part in shootaround this morning and is good to go for the Heat in their game against the Milwaukee Bucks. While he will likely continue to come off the bench, he’s still one of the top plays at the center position tonight as the Bucks are 21st in C DvP and Whiteside has put up 40 or more FanDuel fpts in 7 of his last 9 games. If anything changes regarding Whiteside’s status, we’ll update you as soon as we learn of it.
