Rodney Stuckey probable; CJ Miles out for Pacers tonight
The Pacers have announced that Stuckey is probable to play tonight while Miles will miss another game due to his injured calf. Stuckey has been out for a while (since January 12th) so his return to the court will likely see his minutes limited, even with Miles out. He’s a GPP option when given minutes due to his upside but today is probably not the day to take that shot given uncertainty with his role. Miles absence isn’t huge in terms of DFS as his role had diminished prior to his injury anyway with the emergence of Myles Turner.

Gary Neal does not travel with team - out for tonight's game
Neal has been out for over two weeks and that’s not changing tonight as he did not travel with the team for their game. Nothing to see here in terms of DFS relevance.
As reported by: J. Michael on Twitter Iman Shumpert a game-time decision for Cavaliers game tonight
Shumpert told media that his injured shoulder is progressing and that he will test it pregame before determining whether he will play or not tonight. Shumpert had only topped 17 FanDuel fpts once in his last ten games prior to his injury so he isn’t a relevant DFS target regardless of whether he plays or not. We’ll update you on his status later today when more news becomes available.

Shelvin Mack will be starting again tonight for the Jazz. Mack has played well since coming over in a trade and but faces the Spurs tonight. Mack is still a viable punt play even though his salary has spiked slightly. Mack played 32 minutes in his last game but did not exceed value due to his six turnovers. Mack is a solid play in the late slate with few value options available.

Clint Capela (ankle) has been ruled out for tonight
Clint Capela has been ruled out of tonight’s contest with a sprained ankle. Capela was coming off the bench for the Rockets so his DFS impact was minimal. With Capela out of the lineup, Terrence Jones will likely pick up a few minutes. Terrence Jones is a risky tournament option with Josh Smith still in the starting lineup.
Tyson Chandler starting tonight over Alex Len
Tyson Chandler will be starting tonight after missing two consecutive games. Alex Len sprained his ankle in practice but has not been ruled out of tonight’s contest. Len started for the two games that Chandler missed. The Suns will have to play both their big men tonight as Brook Lopez and the Nets visit Phoenix. With Len’s ankle having the possibility to limit him, Chandler is the better play.

With the Nets waiving Joe Johnson today, Bojan Bogdanovic will receive the start in his place. Bogdanovic should be considered an elite punt option against the Suns. The last time that Bogdanovic played over 24 minutes, he was able to score 32 fantasy points on DraftKings. He will likely see over 24 minutes tonight and should be used in both tournaments and cash games.

Alonzo Gee will be starting at shooting guard tonight for the Pelicans. Bryce Dejean-Jones has been diagnosed with a fractured wrist and will be out 6-8 weeks. Gee is a low-end DFS option tonight but should see about 30 minutes tonight. The Pelicans are depleted by injuries and will ask Gee to step up. Gee will likely be under-owned tonight and should be able to hit value on his near minimum salary.

Rodney Stuckey has been out since January 12th with the ankle injury. Stuckey has not been confirmed for Friday so we should expect a status update tomorrow after shootaround. Stuckey is a risky play on such a large slate but should be on the radar. Stuckey is a tournament type player that usually provides good upside every once in a while. His volatility will keep him under-owned until he goes off.

Bryce Dejean-Jones will likely miss 6-8 weeks with a broken wrist. BDJ was not much of a fantasy option and Alonzo Gee is expected to start in his place. The last time that Dejean-Jones was injured and Gee filled in, he had four points in 33 minutes. Gee is an extremely low-end option tonight against the Thunder. Look for Toney Douglas to also get in the lineup tonight and make for an interesting punt play due to his near minimum salary.

Joe Johnson was released today by the Nets and that opened up a lot of value plays tonight in their game vs. the Suns. There is some usage up for grabs with the absence of Johnson and historically Thaddeus Young has seen the biggest bump in usage with Joe Johnson off the court. According to nbawowy.com, without Johnson in the lineup, Young’s usage jumps from 20% to 24% on the season. Young’s usage will almost surely increase and you should give him likely the biggest bump relative to price of all the Nets players with Johnson out. The matchup isn’t necessarily ideal as the Suns are 12th in DvP vs. PFs, but the increased usage as well as a one-point spread should help mitigate the less-than-stellar matchup. Young makes for a great play at PF tonight in cash games or GPPs.
Greg Monroe is a nice GPP pivot off of Nikola Vucevic, Dwight Howard, Brook Lopez
Tonight is a great night for centers, and especially on DraftKings where almost all of the centers are underpriced. A viable strategy on DraftKings is to roster two centers because of the options available tonight and the fact that centers are always priced disproportionately compared to FanDuel. Nikola Vucevic, Dwight Howard, and Brook Lopez are all in good spots tonight and are all viable in cash games, however they will all likely have a higher ownership than Monroe. Monroe has been amazing vs. the Celtics this year, averaging 23 points and 13 rebounds in two games for an average of 50 DK points per game. He makes for an excellent pivot off of the aforementioned centers and the ownership percentage will likely be between 10-15%. The other three are safer and are recommended for cash games, as Monroe is fairly inconsistent and his current role off the bench doesn’t help in that regard. However, if Monroe puts up another 50-burger tonight and you have him in a GPP lineup, you are in for a great night.
C.J. McCollum offers a high floor for his price
C.J. McCollum is making a case for most improved player of the year as he has been on a tear lately and has really been one of the surprises of the season. In three games back from the All-Star Break McCollum has put up 21, 31, and 34 real life points and averaging over 44 DK points. At his $7,500 salary on DraftKings and $7,600 on FanDuel he would be hitting 6x value if he scored 44 DK points again tonight. He gets a great matchup tonight vs. the Rockets who are 23rd in DvP vs. the SG position and this should be an up-tempo game with an over/under of 218. There is only a spread of 3.5 so Vegas thinks this should be fairly close, and with an implied total of 111 points the Blazers will once again be reliant on the scoring of Lillard and McCollum to stay in this one. McCollum is a safe option at SG tonight if you don’t want to pay all the way up for James Harden.
Victor Oladipo will be starting on Thursday
Victor Oladipo was questionable coming into today but went through warmups and will be starting tonight. Oladipo takes part in the game with the highest projected total of the night and he’s been playing very well of late, making him an elite option in any format. Oladipo’s salary has spiked, but he does still have 40 FP upside in this spot. He’ll be a popular play, but Evan Fournier’s ownership percentage will likely be a bit higher on FanDuel where the price difference between the two is larger.

Andre Miller has been waived by the Timberwolves and has not had a DFS impact this season. There is a chance that Miller jumps onto a contender and plays when there is an injury later in the year.
