Jeff Teague will play tonight
For those hoping to utilize a high-usage Dennis Schroder in a prime spot against Golden State, those hopes have to be tempered a bit as Teague will play tonight. Teague hasn’t shown great upside (he’s only topped 38 FanDuel fpts once in his last 10 games and has been under 30 fpts in 6 of those ten) but if there is one spot to attack the Warriors it is at the PG position so he could make for an intriguing GPP play. If anything changes on Teague, we’ll update it as soon as we learn of it.

Dwyane Wade a game-time decision; Chris Bosh not expected to play tonight
Wade was a full time participant in the team shootaround this morning and is considered a game-time decision for tonight’s game. Bosh is expected to not play again. Wade is the one most DFS players are keeping an eye on as him playing or not has a huge impact on how to utilize Heat players. If Wade does play, his usage is way up without Bosh and he makes for an excellent option at SG against the Pacers. If he sits, it opens up value from the likes of Gerald Green and increases the usage of players like Goran Dragic and Luol Deng who are both coming off of back-to-back big games. We’ll keep an eye on Wade news and update you as soon as we learn more.

Head coach Byron Scott hinted at this earlier in the day, but now it’s official D’Angelo Russell will enter the starting lineup for Lou Williams. Russell is only a GPP play tonight against the Bulls. The rookie has had a really disappointing season. He has been playing around 25-30 minutes lately, and not really producing. With Williams headed to bench, he isn’t a DFS option anymore.

P.J. Hairston will start for Tony Allen
With Tony Allen out with an injury, P.J. Hairston will start in his place against the Raptors. Just like he was in Charlotte, Hairston isn’t a DFS option. Mario Chalmers, Vince Carter, and Lance Stephenson will also see some more minutes with Allen out. I wouldn’t mess with this situation on a ten game slate.

Nik Stauskas will be on a minute’s restriction Sunday against the Mavericks. He will be limited to around 20 minutes. He wasn’t a DFS play tonight anyway, but if he’s in your lineup get him out.

Deron Williams will play Sunday against the 76ers despite a calf injury. They’re no reports of Williams being on any kind of minute’s restriction. He makes for a great GPP play tonight, because he will be lowly owned due to the injury concern. He has been playing very well as of late. He has gone over 40 FD points in two of his last three games. He is just $6,100 on DK and $6,000 on FD. Raymond Felton and J.J. Barea lose their value with Williams playing.

Chandler Parsons has been playing really well over the last month and has been logging some heavy minutes. Last game vs. Orlando Parsons put up 46 DK points in 36 minutes, and tonight he gets a matchup with a Philadelphia 76ers team that he should be able to take advantage of. The Sixers are 27th in DvP vs. SFs and they really do not defend the position very well. Parsons offers a high floor relative to his mid-range price point and makes for a great GPP play tonight. The SF position is thin tonight, but especially on the late slate where there really isn’t anyone to pay up for per se Parsons is squarely in play. He also offers a relatively high floor because of the amount of minutes he is going to play which makes him safe for cash games as well. Parsons has had two 46 DK point games in his last three and will look to exceed value again tonight.
Tony Allen out Sunday
Tony Allen will miss Sunday’s game because of a knee injury. No one player will benefit with Allen out. Look for Mario Chalmers, P.J. Hairston, Vince Carter, and Lance Stephenson all to pick up some extra minutes. Of that group Chalmers will likely receive the most minutes, but isn’t in play on a ten game slate.

Courtney Lee will start in his Hornets’ debut Sunday against Brooklyn. With Lee starting, Frank Kaminsky will head back to the bench. Lee isn’t an option on today’s big slate. Jeremy Lin and Jeremy Lamb lose their fantasy appeal with Lee now in the rotation.

Newly acquired Kris Humphries will get for the start for the Suns on Sunday against the Spurs. Humphries isn’t a DFS option today, it’s tough to say how many minutes he will get, even though he is starting. You can ignore Jon Leuer, with him heading to the bench. Mirza Teletovic remains a solid GPP play for the Suns. He had 25 points and 8 rebounds last game against the Rockets.

Nelson will miss another game with his wrist injury. This means Emmanuel Mudiay will once again get over 30 minutes, although he may lose some minutes to D.J. Augustine. He is a GPP play only because his play is inconsistent. He does have a tough matchup today against the Celtics backcourt.

Chandler will miss Sunday’s game against the Spurs with a shoulder injury; Alex Len will start in his place. Len isn’t a safe cash game play against the best defense in the NBA, but you could use him in a GPP. Len did have a lot of success in the last meeting with the Spurs. He played 35 minutes and finished with 34 FD points.

Kawhi Leonard will miss his third straight game Sunday with a calf injury. Kyle Anderson will get another start with Leonard out. Over the last two games, Anderson is averaging 29 minutes and 20 FD points per game. His price did go up to $4,000 on DK, but he is still $3,700 on FD. He may not have the upside for GPPs, but Anderson is a nice cash game play at his price.
As reported by: Spurs Derrick Favors is a safe option at PF tonight
Derrick Favors continues to impress since having nearly a month off because of a back injury. Tonight he gets a great matchup with the Trail Blazers who have a less than impressive frontcourt from a defensive standpoint. Favors can be volatile compared to some of the other high-priced options, but the caveat is that it depends on the matchup. Favors tends to lay duds in more difficult matchups, but when he gets a good matchup he can really exceed value. It seems fairly logical, but Favors seems to be more matchup-dependent than some other players. As long as Favors can see 33-36 minutes tonight hopefully he will be able to reach value in a solid matchup vs. Portland.
Avery Bradley will play Sunday
Avery Bradley will play Sunday against the Nuggets despite hurting his knee on Friday night. Bradley is a very safe cash game option today; by all accounts he isn’t on any type of minute’s restriction. The Nuggets rank 27th in the NBA at defending the SG position. He is just $5,600 on FD and $5,200 on DK. With Bradley playing, this hurts the value of Evan Turner.
