Grizzlies starting Tony Allen for Mike Conley
The Grizzlies will start Tony Allen and Courtney Lee in the backcourt tonight. Allen is likely starting to guard Russell Westbrook and is not an option on offense. Tony Allen can be faded in DFS due to his lack of scoring punch. Allen is known to get a lot of steals and Westbrook turns the ball over so there is a chance for Allen to get a lot steals tonight. On such a large slate Allen is still a player to stay away from and not late-swap into your lineup.

Wesley Johnson (foot) will play on Wednesday
Wes Johnson will be playing tonight and will likely resume his starting position. Johnson had been suffering from a foot injury but it will not keep him out of the lineup. Johnson is not a DFS option even if he is starting but did have his best game in a month, boosted by 4 steals.

Mike Conley is out tonight with a sore Achilles and Mario Chalmers will make the start in his place. Chalmers is a great punt option tonight against the Thunder. If Chalmers is able to stay out of foul trouble he should easily be able to exceed value on his salary. Chalmers will likely play over 35 minutes tonight with no real bench depth for the Grizzlies.

Ronnie Price will be making his first start of the season tonight. Price is likely in the lineup to help on the defensive end as the Suns have been getting torched. Price is a risky late-swap option tonight, but could exceed value with Jeremy Lin guarding him. The Suns will try to bring Devin Booker off the bench to provide a spark.

The Mavericks have had to go with an entirely new starting lineup with most of their regulars resting. Parsons will likely get the most shot attempts in the starting unit. Charlie Villanueva is a sleeper pick tonight, but should likely be avoided as he only is a scorer. Javale McGee is a risky but could make for a good punt play at his near minimum salary. Look for Felton and Barea to get most of the minutes in the backcourt if the Mavs can keep it close.

Kevin Durant was a late addition to the lineup after feeling good about his toe in warmups. Kevin Durant would make for a great late-swap move in your lineups if you were able to have the funds left over. Durant’s return means Russell Westbrook’s value will take a hit and his high salary might be too high to exceed value tonight.

Jeremy Lin will be playing tonight and will be starting at SG for the Hornets. Lin makes for a good play against the poor defense of the Suns. Lin is coming off an ankle injury, so there is some concern that he could be limited. If Lin is not limited he will likely see over 30 minutes tonight as the Hornets are depleted by injuries.

Jeremy Lamb is dealing with a wrist and hip injury but will play tonight against Phoenix. Lamb will be coming off the bench but should see a lot of minutes with Nicolas Batum out. Lamb is a GPP play tonight only, and makes for a good late swap option due to his availability being known after lineups locked.

Lavoy Allen will be in the starting lineup tonight against the Magic. Coach Frank Vogel mentioned that C.J. Miles is good to go and should see plenty of minutes. C.J. Miles is nursing a sore shoulder, but could be a sleeper DFS pick tonight. The Magic are not a great defensive team so Miles has a chance to exceed value on his salary.

Patty Mills and David West will start for Tony Parker and LaMarcus Aldridge tonight against the Jazz. Mills is the stronger value play of the two, but none of the Spurs are particularly strong targets against a slow-paced Jazz team. It doesn’t help that the Spurs have been blowing teams out this year (they have the best +/- of any team this year, including Golden State). Mills is a solid GPP play given his ability to get hot from the field, while West is safe to avoid. It could be a night where Boban Marjanovic sees 15 or so minutes, in which case he’d be a decent bet to hit 20 FPs.

Chandler Parsons will be playing tonight after being listed as questionable with a hip injury. Parsons is a risky DFS play tonight on the second night of a back-to-back. Parsons will likely start given that most of the Mavs roster is resting after a double OT game. If the Mavs are to keep it close Parsons will have to play a huge role with a bunch of bench players playing next to him.

Emmanuel Mudiay was trying to play tonight and signs had pointed to him doing so, but in a last minute decision he has been scratched. With Mudiay missing once again look for Will Barton to get a ton of minutes on the wing. Danilo Gallinari should also play well in extended minutes tonight.

Tyreke Evans will make his return to the starting lineup tonight after missing time with a knee injury. Evans’ return hurts Norris Cole’s value with him returning to the bench. Look for Tyreke to have a good game tonight with the Mavs basically playing their bench as their starters tonight.

Hassan Whiteside will return to the lineup tonight against the Knicks. Whiteside makes for a strong DFS play against the Knicks who just played last night. Whiteside’s return diminishes the value of Chris Bosh tonight, and he will have to deal with the length of Kristaps Porzingis.

Both Evan Turner and Kelly Olynyk will stick in the starting lineup tonight against the Pistons. Turner is starting for the injured Avery Bradley (who is out tonight) and Olynyk has surpassed Jared Sullinger as the starting center. Turner is a very strong option in all formats as he can fill up the stat sheet in big minutes, although the match-up with the Pistons isn’t ideal. They have a few good wing defenders (KCP and Morris) which could give him some trouble, but his usage/playing time keeps his floor high. Olynyk is only viable in GPPs, but he’s put up some big numbers when he’s received significant playing time this year. He’ll do battle with Andre Drummond though, which could very well lead to foul trouble.
