John Jenkins cleared to play tonight
John Jenkins has passed the concussion protocol and will be able to play tonight against the Grizzlies. He is not really a DFS option but could see a little bit of action due to Devin Harris being out. Jenkins is pretty much only a scorer and would have a tough time exceeding value in whats projected to be a close game.

Kendall Marshall and Isaiah Canaan starting in Sixers backcourt
The Sixers will try to find a spark tonight with another starting lineup change. With Nerlens Noel returning tonight, Kendall Marshall will have a chance to play with him and Isaiah Canaan for only the second time this season. Marshall is on a restriction of 16 minutes, with his backcourt partner Tony Wroten. Vegas projects it to be a close game, and Canaan will likely be the PG during crunch time. It is tough to predict which player will go off from the Sixers backcourt tonight, with Canaan only having shot if he gets matched up with Jose Calderon.

Miles will draw the start alongside Paul George at the forward spot on Friday. It’ll push Lavoy Allen to the bench, and makes Miles a more appealing target in GPPs. He’s still very reliant on points to pick up fantasy value as he doesn’t rebound or add defensive stats with any regularity, but he’s got a high ceiling relative to his price on any given night if his shot is falling. George is a very nice upside play tonight and may go a bit underowned in GPPs since he’s coming off of a few slow games.
Jae Crowder has been very consistent
Over the last ten games, Jae Crowder has been very consistent, not having a game under 21.75FP. He sits at only $5,500 on DraftKings tonight in a matchup vs. the Atlanta Hawks who are average at defending SFs. Thabo Sefolosha is a good defender, however he has been seeing decreasing minutes since Kent Bazemore has been on fire recently, but is also a worse defender than Sefolosha. Crowder has a high consistency rating and has hit 4x value 84% of the games this season. While he does have limited upside, Crowder is a great mid-range cash game option tonight vs. the Hawks.
Josh McRoberts and Tyler Johnson out tonight
The Heat have ruled out Josh McRobers and Tyler Johnson against the Raptors. Expect Gerald Green to see a few extra minutes tonight. The Raptors are playing on the second night of a back-to-back and are in projected to be in a really low scoring game. There will likely be a ton of rebounds to go around, so Hassan Whiteside gets the bump with McRoberts out. Bosh will likely have to play longer at the 4 and the lack of depth reduces his chances at playing as a stretch 5, allowing more minutes for Hassan Whiteside.

Monta Ellis was listed as questionable going into tonight’s game, but has been confirmed as in and will assume his starting position. Ellis has been playing well lately, averaging 18 points a game over his last four contests. Ellis makes for a good mid-range option against the Nets weak SG defense. Look at Stuckey as well in this game as the Pacers have a chance to blowout the Nets.

The Utah Jazz will play the Denver Nuggets tonight and Trey Burke has surprisingly been a main beneficiary getting pretty good minutes with Rudy Gobert out. He has reached 5x value in six of the last eight games and gets a great matchup with the Nuggets tonight. The Nuggets are very poor at defending opposing PGs and allow the third most points per game to PGs. Trey Burke doesn’t start and that may keep people away from him, but he plays around 25-30 minutes per game. He loves to shoot and if he can get his shot to fall tonight he could be in for another solid game vs. the Nuggets. While Burke has kind of gone under the radar in the DFS community, that makes him a good target tonight.
Clarification: Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor both starting Friday
Okafor and Noel will start alongside each other in the front-court tonight. Noel hasn’t been nearly as consistent of a fantasy contributor this season, and he remains viable only as a GPP dart-throw tonight due to his ability to rack up blocks and steals at a high rate. Okafor is an especially appealing target on FanDuel where he’s been underpriced most of the season – his $6,600 price tag makes him a nice upside target in tournaments. New York’s front-court isn’t that scary defensively, and they’ve been middle-of-the-road in terms of defending centers this year.

Thomas Robinson (illness) out, Wayne Ellington to play Friday
The Nets have ruled out Thomas Robinson for tonight’s contest against the Pacers. Wayne Ellington is set to play even though he has been suffering with a shoulder injury. He has not missed any time with the injury and even had his best game of the month this past Wednesday.Look for Ellington to get around 24 minutes behind Bojan Bogdanovic, and could get some garbage time run if the Pacers blowout the Nets at home.
As reported by: Brian Lewis Harrison Barnes out tonight, Greg Monroe still doubtful
In one of the more talked about games of the night, Harrison Barnes is out again and Greg Monroe is doubtful to play. Barnes has been out so his absence comes as no surprise and we should see Brandon Rush start again in his place. Rush is not much of a DFS option, but could get some garbage time run in what Vegas projects to be a 19 point blowout. Greg Monroe was the main catalyst during the Bucks victory over the Warriors last Saturday and with him out, look for John Henson to be the main beneficiary again. Henson likely won’t have much of an impact tonight against the tough defense of Andrew Bogut and Festus Ezeli.

Kevin Martin was feeling better in shootaround today and will be a game-time decision against the Kings. Martin is struggling with a wrist injury and will try to warm up before the game then decide. If he does play, he has a chance to start and likely hurts Zach LaVine’s value. If Martin does end up missing, LaVine and Andrew Wiggins would see a huge boost against a Sacramento team that really struggles against opposing wings.
As reported by: Darren Wolfson Otto Porter misses practice, questionable for tomorrow's game
Porter missed practice with a thigh bruise and is considered questionable for the Wizards game against the Hornets tomorrow. If Porter does sit, Kelly Oubre would be the likely beneficiary. Oubre has put up 38.9 Draft Kings fantasy points his last two games, averaging 21 minutes over those two games. He’d be an excellent value option on a smaller slate if Porter is unable to go.

Rodney Hood probable to play tonight
Hood stated that his knee is still sore but that he will play tonight after taking part in this morning’s shootaround. The Jazz take on the Nuggets who are one of the worst defensive teams in the league as they are #25 overall in total fantasy points allowed per game and #30 (dead last) against the SG position in DvP. Hood is an excellent value option in GPP’s at the SG position.

Mudiay has missed the last two games and will also miss tonight’s game against the Utah Jazz. Despite it being a tough defensive match up (Utah is 2nd in the league in terms of fantasy points allowed per game), Jameer Nelson is in play as a value option at point guard. He has scored over 21.6 DraftKings fantasy points in each of his last four games which is more than five times his current price tag there.

While no dates have yet been announced, sources have stated that Ty Lawson will be suspended for two games for a DUI violation he incurred in 2014. Lawson has been a terrible disappointment this season and the move has little DFS impact as a result of his minimal playing time. Patrick Beverley would likely see a few more minutes as a result and Jason Terry will benefit the most as he’d take over Lawson’s role most likely. Once official dates for the suspension have been announced, we’ll let you know.
