Tyler Johnson and Josh McRoberts out tonight
After returning and only playing five minutes last game out, Tyler Johnson has been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Toronto Raptors. Josh McRoberts will also be out for his fifth straight game. Gerald Green, and Beno Udrih to a lesser extent, will benefit the most from Johnson not playing.

Monta Ellis questionable for tonight's game
The Pacers announced that Ellis is questionable for today’s game with a sore right knee. Rodney Stuckey would benefit the most if Ellis doesn’t play and would be a top option at the shooting guard position. According to nbawowy, Stuckey’s fantasy points/minute goes up nearly .4 per minute when Ellis is not on the court with him.

The Rockets will reinsert Clint Capela back into the starting lineup tonight against the Lakers. Capela is not much of an offensive player and will need double digit rebounds to hit his value. Clint will start on Larry Nance tonight at the PF and should have a considerable advantage. Nance will not be in for more than 20 minutes if the Lakers are able to keep it competitive. Since returning from injury, Motiejunas is averaging 18 FPs in the three games he has received over 14 minutes. If Motiejunas is able to see 20 minutes, he has a chance to exceed value at his $3,800 price tag on DraftKings.

Greg Monroe doubtful Friday
The Bucks have listed Greg Monroe as doubtful for Friday’s contest against the Warriors. He has a left MCL sprain and has missed the last two games with the injury. Miles Plumlee started in his place against the Clippers but John Henson was the main beneficiary of Monroe’s absence. Look for the Bucks to announce the starter near game time to try and keep the Warriors off balance. Henson should not be considered a great DFS option against the Warriors though, due to the probable blowout.

Anthony Morrow will miss Thursday’s game with the Cavs due to a personal issue. Morrow hasn’t played more than 15 minutes in any of the Thunder’s past four games, so this news isn’t going to lead to a big bump in value for any particular player, but it likely leads to a handful of extra minutes for guys like Dion Waiters, Andre Roberson and potentially Cameron Payne. Waiters has the revenge factor working in his favor, but he’s a very high variance GPP play. At a thin SG spot, he may be worth a look in tournaments as a dart throw.

Lou Williams has played well as a starter
Lou Williams has been starting the last several games for the Lakers and has actually been playing really well. He has been pretty consistent averaging right around 25FPPG over the last couple of weeks. He is seeing around 32-33 minutes per game and gets a good matchup with the Rockets tonight. They have been decreasingly poor this year at defending opposing point guards and they have the highest over/under of the day by far. This should be a high scoring shootout and Williams has a good chance to hopefully reach value tonight but beware, as Byron Scott is his coach and he is known for is inconsistent minutes.
Mo Williams (thumb) out tonight
Mo Williams has been ruled out of tonight’s contest so expect Matthew Dellavedova to play a ton tonight. The Cavs have a depleted backcourt and will need his defense on Russell Westbrook. Dellavedova makes for a solid punt option on a short slate and could free up some money to get the other big names. Westbrook will likely not respect him, so there is a chance he can shine if he plays out his mind tonight. Which is not out of the question due to the game being on national TV.

Nerlens Noel was officially listed as questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Knicks. The Sixers do play in the early set of games for the night, so hopefully they give us an official confirmation before lock. Nerlens Noel would have to tangle with Kristaps Porzingis all night, so that is likely one of the reasons he is playing tomorrow. Jerami Grant would give up way too much size to the Knicks big man.

Jeremy Lin will be starting on Thursday while Batum sits out with his illness. Lin is $4,200 on DraftKings and $4,700 on FanDuel, so he does make for a great punt option. Lin did have an off night against the Magic last night, so that may bring his ownership levels down slightly. The Magic basically dominated the entire game, so Lin’s game was down just like the rest of his teammates.

Nicolas Batum has been ruled out with his illness for Thursday’s contest against the Raptors. Batum actually left Wednesday’s game with the illness, so his scratch from the lineup does not come as a surprise. Jeremy Lin will be starting in his place and should see a good amount of playing time tonight.

Batum didn’t play much last night and ended up leaving the game due to an illness, and it appears that may end up keeping him out again tonight. It’s unclear who would start in Batum’s place, but Jeremy Lamb, Jeremy Lin or potentially even Frank Kaminsky could enter the starting lineup. Batum’s absence would leave Kemba Walker with a higher usage rate and would make Marvin Williams a safer target at PF. Since this game starts at 7 ET, we should have advanced notice on Batum’s status before lock.

The Nuggets have listed Emmanuel Mudiay as questionable for Friday’s contest against the Jazz. Jameer Nelson will likely get the start in his place and be a solid option. His price has risen considerably and now sits at $4,900 on DraftKings for Friday’s games. If the Jazz start Raul Neto, Jameer Nelson would have an advantage. If the Jazz start Alec Burks then Nelson’s small stature should be considered and could hinder his play against a longer defender.

Kevin Martin is listed as questionable for tomorrow night’s game with the Kings. Per Darren Wolfson, he seems to be on the right side of the questionable tag, and the Kings are a team that has shown some interest in trading for Martin in the past. It’s unclear if he’ll still be in the starting lineup (there were rumors that Tayshaun Prince would start even before Martin was ruled out last night), but if he’s a starter, he’s a nice upside target in tournaments. The downside with Martin is that if he’s not hitting his shots, he’s going to be a major disappointment as he’s not able to contribute in other categories with any regularity.

Josh McRoberts has already been ruled out of Friday’s contest which will mark the fifth consecutive game. Tyler Johnson injured his shoulder again and is questionable for Friday’s game as well. If Johnson misses expect Wade to see extended minutes against the Raptors. Wade played great against the Nets, but will face the stiff defense of DeMar Derozan and should be avoided in a full slate of games.

With Harris out of the lineup, Deron Williams will continue to play upwards of 34-36 minutes, while Raymond Felton should settle in around 30. J.J. Barea will be the first guard off the bench and is likely to see a slight uptick on his average of nearly 20 minutes per game with Harris out. While tomorrow’s matchup looks scary at first glance, Memphis hasn’t been nearly as good defensively compared to the last few seasons, so the Mavs may make for intriguing against-the-grain plays.
