Gary Harris

Detroit Pistons
12/11/15, 6:28 PM ET

Gary Harris to return tonight

Harris will return from a six-game absence due to a concussion. He’s expected to re-enter the starting lineup, which takes Randy Foye out of play and will also likely lead to a decrease in minutes for Will Barton, who has been performing admirably off the bench. Harris himself isn’t a DFS option tonight – Danilo Gallinari and Kenneth Faried are the only DFS-viable options against Minnesota tonight. Faried is a particularly sneaky GPP play now that he appears to be back to full health.

Lavoy Allen

Washington Wizards
12/11/15, 6:30 PM ET

Lavoy Allen starting over C.J. Miles tonight

The Pacers have changed their lineup once again and will go big tonight. The Heat visit Indianapolis and could be without Hassan Whiteside. Lavoy Allen is a boom-or-bust DFS option tonight and tough to recommend on a full slate of games. Allen does play well against big teams and his last good game came against the Bulls. With such a cheap salary it won’t take much to hit value but he does not have a very high ceiling.

Mike Scott

Philadelphia 76ers
12/11/15, 5:23 PM ET

Mike Scott questionable, Tiago Splitter probable Saturday

Mike Scott and Tiago Splitter both missed Thursday’s game against the Thunder. Mike Scott is questionable with a knee injury and Tiago Splitter is probable with his hip injury. Splitter does not provide much DFS value playing against the Spurs, his former team. If Mike Scott misses Mike Muscala would get a bump but also does not do much outside of scoring. The Hawks will likely use Al Horford and Paul Millsap to the max Saturday night.

Darrell Arthur

Phoenix Suns
12/11/15, 3:05 PM ET

Darrell Arthur questionable for tonight's game

The Nuggets forward said he is questionable for tonight’s game against the Timberwolves. He plans on going through warm ups and then making a decision as to whether he will play or not. According to nbawowy, J.J. Hickson and Joffrey Lauvergne are typically the two players that benefit the most when Arthur does not play. Both are in play as value plays assuming they take the court. We’ll update you throughout the day as we learn more.

Patty Mills

LA Clippers
12/11/15, 2:57 PM ET

Tony Parker out for tonight's game

The Spurs are giving their veteran point guard the night off. Patty Mills should likely get the start and is an elite value option against a Lakers team that ranks dead last in PG DvP. The usage of Kawhi Leonard and Manu Ginobli increase slightly whenever Parker does not play but there are blowout concerns so they are only GPP plays at best.

Andre Miller

San Antonio Spurs
12/11/15, 2:51 PM ET

Andre Miller out for tonight's game

Andre Miller is not with the Timberwolves tonight for their game against the Nuggets due to personal reasons, making it his fifth straight game that he will have missed – he is expected to return to the team on Sunday. This leaves Ricky Rubio and Zach LaVine as the only point guards. Both are in play tonight against a porous Nuggets defense that is #28 in PG DvP in a game that is projected to be close and moderately high-scoring.

Jordan Clarkson

New York Knicks
12/11/15, 2:25 PM ET

Jordan Clarkson questionable for tonight

Head Coach Byron Scott said Jordan Clarkson is 50/50 to play tonight in their game against the San Antonio Spurs. D’Angelo Russell and Lou Williams would benefit the most but both are risky plays as they face the team that is ranked first in the league in terms of fantasy points allowed.

Kris Humphries

Philadelphia 76ers
12/11/15, 1:59 PM ET

Kris Humphries questionable for tonight's game

The Wizards forward did not take part in this morning’s shootaround and is considered questionable for tonight’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans. The game has the highest total of the day and there is plenty of DFS goodness to target. If Humphries is unable to go, and according to nbawowy Jared Dudley and Marcin Gortat get the biggest bump in value when Humphries does not play. Gortat is a top mid-range play at the center position with Dudley being a secondary option at best.

Klay Thompson

Miami Heat
12/11/15, 12:52 PM ET

Klay Thompson a game-time decision

The Warriors star shooting guard is questionable for tonight after dealing with pain in his ankle during this morning’s shootaround. Interim Head Coach Luke Walton said that he would play if the medical staff and Thompson both felt he was ready. Ian Clark would be the probable starter but isn’t a DFS option as he doesn’t get enough playing time, even when he does start. The usage of the remaining starters, however, goes up whenever Thompson is not on the court as they all score .1 fantasy points/minute more when that is the case. That said, it’s a tough match up against a Celtics team that is at home and is defensive-minded. The core players on the Warriors are always GPP options and that’s certainly the case again tonight. Stephen Curry has the toughest match up as the Celtics are #1 in PG DvP but Curry has shown countless times that he is match up proof.

Hassan Whiteside

Utah Jazz
12/11/15, 12:38 PM ET

Hassan Whiteside's status uncertain for tonight

Heat Head Coach Erik Spoelstra stated that the team would not know their center’s availability until tonight making him a true game-time decision. The Heat are taking on the Pacers who are generally a good defensive team but are somewhat vulnerable to bigs as they rank 18th in center DvP. Chris Bosh, and to a lesser extent Dwayne Wade, receive a significant boost in usage if Whiteside is out of the game. According to nbawowy, Bosh averages .5 fantasy points per minute more when Whiteside is off the court. Wade averages more than .25 fantasy points per minute as well. Josh McRoberts also benefits and is in play as a value punt option if Whiteside doesn’t play.

Tyson Chandler

Houston Rockets
12/11/15, 12:10 PM ET

Tyson Chandler questionable for tonight

Chandler has missed the last seven games with an injured hamstring but did some light running at practice yesterday and is considered questionable for the Suns game with Portland. It’s a very plus match up for Suns bigs as Portland is second to last in center DvP. At a reduced price, Chandler is in play if he does play. Alex Len probably would see a hit in his minutes but should still be a viable DFS option due to the match up and uncertainty with Chandler’s minutes.

J.R. Smith

Los Angeles Lakers
12/11/15, 11:12 AM ET

J.R. Smith will not play tonight, Iman Shumpert activated

The Cavaliers shooting guard will not make the trip with the team to Orlando due to an illness. Iman Shumpert has been activated for the game and will go through pre-game work with the hopes of playing. His playing time would obviously be uncertain in his first game back so look to more playing time from the point guard duo of Matthew Dellavedova and Mo Williams. The Magic defend the SG position well (7th in DvP) but are suspect against the PG position (21st) so look to see who is starting at PG and target them. We’ll update you on the starting lineup as soon as it becomes available.

Luc Mbah a Moute

Houston Rockets
12/10/15, 8:32 PM ET

Luc Richard Mbah a Moute starting at SF Thursday

The Clippers will go with Luc Richard Mbah a Moute for the seventh consecutive game at SF. The Clippers are 6-1 with Mbah a Moute starting with their only loss coming to the Pacers. Luc does not provide much DFS value and can be safely left off rosters tonight.

As reported by: Ben Bolch

Bojan Bogdanovic

Brooklyn Nets
12/10/15, 8:26 PM ET

Bojan Bogdanovic remains the starting SG for BKN

The Nets will go with the same starting lineup of Jack, Bogdanovic, Johnson, Young, Lopez on Thursday. The Nets host the Sixers and all the starters can have solid nights as long as Philly keeps it close. Bojan Bogdanovic is coming off a night where he had 19 points and 5 rebounds, so he will be a chalky punt play at F.

Mike Scott

Philadelphia 76ers
12/10/15, 8:12 PM ET

Mike Scott out tonight

Mike Scott missed last night’s game against the Mavs with a knee injury and is out again tonight. Since Mike Scott is not able to go look for Mike Muscala to get some extra burn with Tiago Splitter also out. Muscala is not a great option but he is the only other big man to give a breather to Al Horford and Paul Millsap.
