Rashad Jennings has a limited practice Thursday, may be ready to play Sunday
Jordan Raanan of ESPN believes Jennings has a legitimate shot to play Sunday night against the Packers. New York wants to make sure he can do things like block and catch before they commit to him. He definitely shouldn’t be rostered in Thursday-lock lineups, and even if he plays he’s probably not a strong option in his first game back.

Clive Walford back at Thursday's practice, looks to be set to suit up Sunday
Walford was looking questionable earlier in the week, but there apparently wasn’t much doubt about his status among those close to the Raiders organization. He’s still a little off of the DFS map with guys like Zach Ertz, Cameron Brate, Zach Miller and Kyle Rudolph available at similar price tags, but his presence will be needed by a Raiders offense that will be without Lee Smith for a while.

Darrelle Revis misses practice again Thursday
It’s looking more doubtful that he’ll play this weekend after sitting out another practice due to a hamstring injury. As of now, the Jets are saying Revis will be a game time decision. If he can’t go this is a further boost to the Steelers offensive outlook as the Jets already ranked 31st in passing DVOA. Although he’s not the same corner as he once was, PFF gives him a very poor 43.7, the Jets certainly won’t be any better without him. Game flow could end up hurting Brown like it did last week against the Chiefs, but Pittsburgh loves running up the score when they can.

He’s hopeful he can play Sunday against the Raiders. The emergence of Hunter Henry and his age limits his fantasy value though. Henry will certainly suffer a setback to his production if Gates plays, possibly ending his two-week streak of being a top-12 fantasy tight end. Unfortunately, you’ll probably want to keep Henry out of Thursday-lock lineups. As for this weekend, his status depends on whether Gates suits up or not.

Edelman has an apparent foot injury, so the Patriots played it safe with him today. Unless we hear otherwise, we expect him to play against the Browns this weekend. Although he hasn’t had a big season, averaging 4.75 catches and 49 yards per game, he’s been doing it with backup quarterbacks under center. With Tom Brady back he’s expecting much better production this weekend, especially since Gronk is still banged up. Edelman will likely be Brady’s favorite target, but game flow could turn against him if the Browns can’t keep up with the Patriots. At this point, his foot injury shouldn’t be too much of a concern.

Due to Hurricane Matthew, the NFL will likely move the game to a neutral site or postpone it until Monday or Tuesday. Per FanDuel’s rulebook, “you will receive points for any postponed games that are played no later than Wednesday of that week.” On DraftKings, if the game is move outside the “Scoring Period”, which extends to Wednesday as well, they will remove the game and players from the slate entirely. As of now, we’re expecting the game to be played within the scoring period, but the NFL has not made an official decision yet. We hope everyone in the affected areas stays safe.

We’re still fully expecting Thomas to suit up against Atlanta, but it’s worth noting that he’s been a little banged up after aggravating a hip issue in Week 4. Emmanuel Sanders figures to draw less of Desmond Trufant, so he’s the preferred target if you’re attacking the Denver passing offense, but Thomas is still a decent GPP flier if you’re rolling out multiple lineups. Thomas ranks 2nd in points per target among WRs with at least 20 looks, but the fact that he hasn’t exceeded seven targets in a game this season (he’s seen exactly seven in the last three games) is a concern.

After having a really nice game Sunday (7/111/1), Royal is dealing with an injured calf and is now questionable to play this Sunday as he’s missed the past two practices. Kevin White is on the injured reserve, so if Royal can’t go Alshon Jeffery and Zach Miller will see a ton of volume. Hoyer has been an appealing value play, and given his matchup — the Colts rank 29th in passing DVOA — it was shaping up as another nice game for him. However, if he ends up without two of his four primary targets and Alshon continues to look less than 100% this week there may be cause for concern.

An injury of this nature tends to keep players out for at least a couple of weeks, so it seems like the Raiders coaches are playing some games here. We would still categorize Murray as doubtful, and expect DeAndre Washington to be the lead back against the weak Chargers defense that’s allowed the third most touchdowns on the ground (7). Washington has looked very good so far, averaging 6.4 yards per carry. Despite having just 23 carries on the season, he’s broken three for over 20 yards. Expect DeAndre to be featured in the passing game as well. Over the first four games Oakland has averaged 6.5 receptions by running backs.

Although he was limited in practice Thursday, Miller looks like he’ll be fully ready for Sunday. Chicago plays the Colts, one of the worst defenses in the league; Indianapolis ranks 32nd in passing DVOA against tight ends. Miller has been one of Hoyer’s favorites, racking up 12 targets and three touchdowns over the two games Hoyer started. With Kevin White on the injured reserve and Alshon Jeffery not 100%, he should see a solid workload. Miller is a great play this weekend.

Diggs sat out due to a groin injury he’s been dealing with for a couple weeks now. Tight end Kyle Rudolph (ribs) suited up. The Vikings have a tough matchup with the Texans this weekend. Houston ranks 5th in passing DVOA, although the individual matchups will not be as tough as last game when Diggs was shut down by Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins. Diggs (85.2 PFF grade) lines up on the right side or in the slot on 86% of his snaps so he’ll see a combination of Jonathan Joseph (70.3 grade) and Kareem Jackson (57.9). Rudolph is on a three-game touchdown streak, but the Texans have allowed just one touchdown through the air this season. If Diggs ends up out, Rudolph should see a ton of volume; he and Diggs have combined for a target share above 50%.

Signs of progress for the Broncos current starting QB as he was seen throwing at practice today. It’s an indicator that he might take the field on Sunday in a plus match up against a Falcons team that is 30th in Pass DVOA. If he can’t go it’ll be Paxton Lynch manning the helm. Whomever it is, they are a viable DFS option. We’ll keep you updated on the Broncos QB situation heading into their game.

Eric Ebron and Dwayne Washington don't practice for Lions; Marvin Jones does
Ebron and Washington have missed practice all week and both appear unlikely to play this weekend. Cole Wick would step in for Ebron if he can’t go while Theo Riddick and Zack Zenner would get the bulk of the RB work for the Lions if Washington can not play. WR Marvin Jones did practice and is expected to have no issues playing this week against the Eagles. We’ll keep you updated on Lions players injuries as the week progresses.

The star WR for the Cowboys continues to miss practice but Head Coach Jason Garrett is hopeful that Bryant will ramp up his work today in the hopes of playing this weekend. He’s still questionable and if he can’t go then Brice Butler would get another opportunity after showing promise last weekend. Butler’s match up is good but not great as he’d be doing most of his work against Adam Jones (graded middle of the pack in PFF’s CB grades). We’ll keep you updated on Bryant’s status as the week progresses.

The Giants TE is going through the leagues concussion protocol and is very unlikely to play this weekend against the Packers. Will Tye should get the bulk of the TE work and is a reasonable option going against a Packers team that is 22nd in Pass DVOA and 19th in TE DVOA.
