Brian Hoyer day to day
Texans Head Coach Bill O’Brien is day to day and that they are not ruling him out from playing this weekend. He also added that T.J. Yates would start if Hoyer can’t go and that recently signed Brandon Weeden would back him up. Hoyer would be the preferred play over Yates as he has a great connection with star WR DeAndre Hopkins.

Sam Bradford and Ryan Mathews still out
The Eagles starting QB and backup RB are still out due to concussions – both will need to pass the league’s concussion protocol before being eligible to return. Bradford is already expected to miss this week with Mark Sanchez stepping in and becoming an intriguing value play at the QB position. If Mathews remains out, Darren Sproles should see additional touches.

The Jaguars starting RB is expected to play tonight despite a questionable tag due to a foot injury. The team will work him out pregame just to be sure. Regardless of whether he plays, he’s not a great option in DFS this week and should be avoided.

Rookie RB David Cobb will make his debut for the Titans tonight. According to reports, Antonio Andrews will start with Cobb being mixed in. Neither is a viable DFS option.

Brian Hoyer didn’t practice Wednesday and is still in the league’s concussion protocol. The fact that Houston claimed Brandon Weeden today is a very good indication that Hoyer won’t be able to go, which leaves T.J. Yates as the starter Sunday against the Jets. This is not a good spot for any of the Texans potential signal callers, so ignore them for DFS purposes despite low price tags.

T.J. Yeldon questionable for TNF, Allen Hurns probable
T.J. Yeldon is currently listed as questionable for tomorrow’s tilt with the Titans. Given that he was in a walking boot on Monday and had a very short time to rest, we’d say he’s legitimately questionable. Denard Robinson would likely see the majority of the work if Yeldon couldn’t go, with the plodding Toby Gerhart also around to help out. Allen Hurns is listed as probable, so Blake Bortles should have both of his top two wideouts healthy.

Floyd apparently wants to play through the torn labrum in his shoulder, but it’s going to be painful if he’s even able to suit up. The Chargers are very shorthanded at WR right now with Keenan Allen also out of action, which leaves Stevie Johnson and Dontrelle Inman as the only healthy wideouts of note. Both (especially Johnson) are nice punt plays given the lack of depth at the position. Ladarius Green also missed Wednesday’s practice, and he would benefit from the injuries to the WRs if he’s healthy enough to play.

Sanders (in addition to Owen Daniels) was not able to participate in Wednesday’s practice. We’d still consider him questionable for Sunday’s game with the Bears, with Demaryius Thomas, Bennie Fowler and Andre Caldwell set to benefit if he sits out again. The Broncos are a tough team to figure out in Brock Osweiler’s first game as the starter, but they do make interesting tournament targets against a poor Bears secondary.

Vincent Jackson is not expected to play in Week 11 against the Eagles. He’s been sidelined since Week 7, which has lead to some massive target totals for Mike Evans over the past few weeks. With Louis Murphy done for the year and Austin Seferian-Jenkins seemingly unable to get healthy enough to suit up, look for another week of at least 12-14 targets for Evans against a beatable Eagles secondary. Evans moves around a lot in formations so it’s tough to peg his CB match-up, but he lines up in the slot only 16% of the time (per PFF), which is the spot the Eagles are the best at defending. Expect him to see a lot of Byron Maxwell and Nolan Carroll, both of whom he can toast.

Brown has been dealing with a nagging hamstring injury since before the team’s bye, and hasn’t contributed much in either of his last two games. Floyd on the other hand has exploded of late, but he wasn’t able to make it out of Sunday night’s game unscathed and is questionable heading into this week. It’s unlikely that both players will sit, but if they do, look for Jaron Brown to see an increased workload.

Kendall Wright will not play Thursday against Jacksonville. Dorial Green-Beckham and Harry Douglas should play most if not all of the snaps Thursday with both Wright and Justin Hunter (out for season) inactive, making each a viable tournament target with DGB having the higher upside of the two. Green-Beckham has showed his red-zone prowess earlier this season, but has had trouble seeing the field with much consistency. Rico Richardson should act as the 3rd WR, but he’s not even available on some major DFS sites.

Ryan Fitzpatrick looked good throwing the ball in Wednesday’s practice and will play on Sunday against Houston. Fitzpatrick wasn’t slowed much by the injury this past Thursday, although he got off to a very slow start and began to pick it up as the game moved along. He’s a GPP-only target against Houston. Both Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker have middling CB/WR matchups, but neither should see a lot of Jonathan Joseph.

Bradford is not only dealing with a separated shoulder, but he’s also still in the league’s concussion protocol. With all that said, he is still reportedly going to try to progress through the week with the hopes of playing, but it’s looking very much like Mark Sanchez will get the nod at QB in Week 11. The Eagles offense shouldn’t change much with Sanchez under center. He ran this offense at the end of last year and has showed good rapport with Jordan Matthews, something that may provide a spark to a passing game that has been lacking all season long.

Eddie Lacy is back and practicing and Head Coach Mike McCarthy stated that Starks would continue to be the #1 but that Lacy would take the second series. It looks like a true running back by committee is hitting Green Bay and that’s a situation DFS’ers typically want to avoid. It’s also a tough match up against the Vikings who have been stout against the run.

The Texans QB is still going through concussion protocol and is considered questionable. T.J. Yates would presumably get the start if Hoyer sits and would be one of many intriguing value options at the position if that were to happen.
