NYG WR Sterling Shepard and WR Kadarius Toney both officially active Monday
As expected, Sterling Shepard and Kadarius Toney are both officially active Monday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Both receivers should see a healthy amount of work with Kenny Golladay still out. They will likely be Daniel Jones’s top targets as they Giants try to keep pace with the explosive Chiefs offense. This should be a high-scoring game with multiple players on both teams worthy of consideration of play on the Monday night showdown slate.

Devine Ozigbo has been claimed off waivers by Jacksonville from the New Orleans Saints. Ozigbo should provide depth at running back for the Jaguars with James Robinson’s status in question due to a foot injury. The Saints didn’t need Ozigbo anymore after their trade for Mark Ingram last week. As of now it does not seem as though Ozigbo should be DFS relevant as Carlos Hyde seems like the most likely candidate to lead the Jaguars backfield if Robinson is forced to miss time.
As reported by: Aaron WilsonGBP WR Allen Lazard activated from COVID-19 reserve list
Allen Lazard has been activated from the COVID-19 reserve list and should be ready to play by Sunday when the Packers are set to take on the Kansas City Chiefs. It’s important to note that Davante Adams still has yet to be activated but would only need to test negative by Saturday to be able to play on Sunday. Lazard should instantly return to his role as the number two receiver behind Adams (if available) in what should be a high scoring matchup.
RB Adrian Peterson to be signed by the Titans
After working out with Tennessee earlier in the day, Adrian Peterson will be signed by the Titans to the practice squad and the expectation is that he will be elevated to the active roster ahead of the Titans game against the Rams this Sunday night. This move was made after the news of Derrick Henry’s foot surgery was made public (expected to miss 6-10 weeks). It remains to be seen exactly how the Titans backfield will shake out but Peterson should play a large role in it. It will likely be some sort of split between Peterson and Jeremy McNichols but it will be important to monitor if any more news comes out from the Titans this week regarding what the split will look like. Right now, it seems as though Peterson would handle most of the carries and early down work while McNichols should handle most of the passing down work.
As reported by: Ian RapoportTEN RB Derrick Henry (foot) to undergo surgery Tuesday, no timetable for return as of now
Derrick Henry is set to undergo surgery Tuesday on his foot and there is currently no timetable for his return. With Henry out at least for the next few weeks (current estimate for recovery is 6-10 weeks) the Titans will adopt either to go with a running back by committee approach or bring in someone from outside the organization. With the trade deadline looming, a move would need to be made quickly. With Henry out it is likely that Ryan Tannehill will be forced to throw the ball more, which also would mean more targets for A.J. Brown and Julio Jones making them all better plays. It will be important to monitor this situation to see how everything plays out prior to the Titans next game on Sunday night against the Los Angeles Rams.
As reported by: Ian RapoportIND WR T.Y. Hilton (concussion) ruled out for Thursday
T.Y. Hilton has been ruled out for Thursday night’s game against the New York Jets. One game after returning from a quad injury Hilton will be on the shelf again, this time dealing with a concussion. The Colts are now without Paris Campbell and Hilton which means the two reliable receivers left standing are Michael Pittman and Zach Pascal with Ashton Dulin expected to see extra work. Michael Pittman is likely to dominate the target share, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see more two tight end sets to get Mo Alie-Cox and Jack Doyle the ball more.
As reported by: Ian RapoportNOS QB Jameis Winston (ACL) out for season
As was originally feared, Jameis Winston tore his ACL on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will be out for the rest of the season. Going forward, Taysom Hill will likely get the nod as the starting quarterback for the Saints but is currently still dealing with a concussion. If he is unable to be ready by Sunday when New Orleans is set to take on the Atlanta Falcons, Trevor Siemian would start. With either quarterback the efficiency of the Saints offense is expected to take a hit and all players will see a small dip in their projections.

MIN WR Dede Westbrook ruled out Sunday
The fourth wideout for the Vikings and punt returner, Westbrook was ruled out due to an ankle injury. Ihmir Smith-Marsette will take his place, and is active as a result; he’ll handle return duties most likely and be a depth piece at wideout.
As reported by: the Minnesota Vikings via Twitterhttps://twitter.com/mortreport/status/1454942340230094852DAL QB Dak Prescott ruled out Sunday
After being a true game-time decision, Dak was ultimately ruled out due to his calf injury against the Vikings on SNF. Cooper Rush will get the start in his place for the first time in his career. This is a big downgrade to all the skill position players on the Cowboys for sure, as their expected TD and points scored will go down. They may run the ball also, making Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard better plays as well.
As reported by: Chris Mortensen via TwitterTB TE Rob Gronkowski active Sunday
Gronk was ruled in Sunday; he was questionable heading in, but will make his return from a multi-week absence from a rib injury. Cameron Brate and O.J. Howard both will move to backup roles as a result.
As reported by: Tom Pelissero via TwitterNO WR Deonte Harris active Sunday
Harris was listed as questionable heading into Sunday’s game, but ultimately was ruled in. He’ll mix in with Marquez Callaway and Tre’Quan as the top three receivers for the team.
As reported by: John Hendrix via TwitterJAX TE Jacob Hollister inactive Sunday
Hollister was ruled out Sunday, which only helps the case of the popular Dan Arnold. Arnold will be the top TE, while Chris Manhertz will be the TE2.
As reported by: the Jacksonville Jaguars via Twitter Other tagged players: Dan ArnoldDET RB Jamaal Williams inactive Sunday
The Lions have kept players as questionable all year only to make them active, so it was a big surprise to see Williams ruled out due to his thigh injury. D’Andre Swift will certainly benefit from the news, as he should be expected to get more carries and work. However, Jemar Jefferson is a player the Lions were high on over the summer, as the rookie was drafted to eventually handle early down work. He may chip in more than expected, but Swift certainly will get a few more looks and likely start the game.
As reported by: the Detroit Lions via Twitter Other tagged players: D'Andre SwiftTE Pharaoh Brown inactive Sunday
Brown was ruled out Sunday and won’t play against the Rams. Brevin Jordan is active for the first time all year, and will mix with Jordan Akins for the Texans. Neither player is to be trusted in DFS as the Texans woeful offense will likely hold no passing value outside of Brandin Cooks.
