DeVante Parker

Philadelphia Eagles
10/21/21, 4:39 PM ET

MIA WR Devante Parker and WR Preston Williams limited again Thursday

Parker had missed the last two weeks with a shoulder and hamstring issue, but looks to be doing better this week as he was able to notch a second straight limited practice. Williams may be in line to join him, as he also missed last week with a groin injury, but appears to be okay and should be a depth piece at wideout. The Dolphins remain without Will Fuller, so Parker will compete with Jaylen Waddle and Mike Gesicki as the top targets on the team, while Williams provides some much needed depth.

Terrace Marshall

Philadelphia Eagles
10/21/21, 4:36 PM ET

CAR WR Terrance Marshall DNP again Thursday; WR Alex Erickson upgraded to LP

The Panthers ancillary wideouts are banged up, and at least one is likely to miss. Marshall missed his second straight practice due to the concussion protocol; at this point in the week, it’s difficult to envision him suiting up. Erickson was upgraded to an LP with a concussion of his own, so he may be okay to play if tomorrow’s practice goes well. With Brandon Zylstra on the I.R. and Marshall expected to sit, there is an opportunity for Erickson or Shi Smith to play the third WR behind DJ Moore and Robby Anderson. The Panthers do have two tight ends in Tommy Tremble and Ian Thomas that could see the field, but possible that Smith or Erickson is worth a flier at minimum salary across the industry.

T.J. Hockenson

Minnesota Vikings
10/21/21, 4:31 PM ET

DET TE T.J. Hockenson and RB D'Andre Swift both limited Thursday

The Lions had some good news Thursday, as Hockenson was able to get in a limited practice Thursday, after sitting out yesterday. This seems to be a trend for Hock, so he should be good to go for the Lions game against the Rams. Swift was limited once again, but he has been that way for the last few weeks and should be good to go Sunday as well.

Evan Engram

Denver Broncos
10/21/21, 4:26 PM ET

NYG TE Evan Engram, WR Kenny Golladay, WR Kadarius Toney, and RB Saquon Barkley all DNP Thursday; WR Darius Slayton and WR Sterling Shepard limited

The Giants had a loaded injury report once again, with even more bad news than yesterday. Barkley, Golladay, and Toney all had their second straight DNP; Barkley and Toney are almost certainly going to sit, while Golladay feels closer to doubtful than anything. Engram was added to the injury report with a calf injury, and was a DNP; he missed the first few games of the year with a calf issue, so it’s a worrisome sign for sure. Slayton and Shepard were both limited but should be good to; Shepard played last week, while Slayton was ruled out last minute and seems close as well. Assuming that everyone that DNP ends up sitting, it’ll be a huge target share for Shepard, with Slayton likely the second option. John Ross and Dante Pettis would mix in as well, but Shepard would be one of the best plays due to his target projection. Tomorrow’s practice will hopefully give a more clear picture on what the situation will be for the Giants.

Antonio Gibson

New England Patriots
10/21/21, 1:51 PM ET

WAS WR Curtis Samuel and WR Cam Sims DNP Thursday; RB Antonio Gibson, WR Terry McLaurin, WR Dyami Brown, and TE Ricky Seals-Jones all limited

The WFT has had a lengthy injury report all year, and this week was no exception as they prepare to play the Green Bay Packers. The biggest names (Gibson and McLaurin) were both limited; McLaurin isn’t really expected to miss, but there was some chatter about Gibson missing this week; his stress fracture in his shin limited him to 40% of the snaps last week, but he looks to be in good shape as he was able to get some work in now. RSJ and Brown look like they will both play; Seals-Jones has played every snap at TE, and although his price has gone up a bit, he’ll still be viable as a cheap TE. Both Samuel and Sims have missed their second straight practice, and are looking closer to doubtful; both players missed last week, and Samuel’s groin has been bothering him since week 1. The pass game will likely flow through McLaurin, RSJ, Brown, and Deandre Carter, but other than Mclaurin and Seals-Jones (and possibly the RBs), the team’s better off being avoided.

Sammy Watkins

Baltimore Ravens
10/21/21, 1:42 PM ET

BAL WR Sammy Watkins and RB Latavius Murray DNP Thursday

Both the skill players for the Ravens missed their second straight practice, never a good sign as the Ravens prepare to play the Cincinnati Bengals. Murray suffered an ankle issue during the Ravens’ last game, and wasn’t able to finish out the game; it’s looking like he may end up sitting, leading to more work for Le’Veon Bell, Devonta Freeman, and Ty’Son Williams (who was a healthy scratch last week.) Watkins missed last game with a hamstring injury that he suffered two weeks ago during the Ravens’ game against the Colts. Watkins has missed practice and played before, so it’s certainly possible he still plays. Even if he does, he may not get much work, as the Ravens prioritize Marquise Brown and Mark Andrews in the pass game, while Rashod Bateman made his debut last week and played on two thirds of snaps and will only get more work as the year goes on.

John Brown

Buffalo Bills
10/21/21, 1:31 PM ET

DEN WR John Brown elevated from practice squad; WR Jerry Jeudy remains on IR

Brown was listed as a protected player on the practice squad for the team yesterday, and ultimately did get the activation for tonight as the Broncos prepare to play the Cleveland Browns. Jeudy, meanwhile, was not activated off of the IR, and will sit out as expected. Brown will be a depth wideout for the team, as the top two options at WR are clearly Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick, while Noah Fant will be an integral part of the offense. Brown is still showdown viable and may get more work as he gets more acclimated to the team.

Tyreek Hill

Miami Dolphins
10/21/21, 1:27 PM ET

KC WR Tyreek Hill DNP Thursday

Tyreek’s quad is still clearly bothering him, as he logs a second straight DNP this week. The Chiefs will play the Tennessee Titans on Sunday in the highest game total on the slate, so Hill’s injury is a huge situation to monitor. It certainly seems like he’ll be able to play, but if not, Travis Kelce would be an even better play, while Mecole Hardman, Demarcus Robinson, and Josh Gordon would all get some more work.

Jarvis Landry

New Orleans Saints
10/21/21, 1:21 PM ET

CLE WR Jarvis Landry officially activated from IR

Landry was officially activated from the I.R., and will play tonight against the Denver Broncos. There have been no mentions of Landry’s workload being limited or anything of the sort, so it feels like Landry should be the top WR for the team, especially if OBJ ends up sitting which it looks like he may.

Dallas Goedert

Philadelphia Eagles
10/21/21, 1:18 PM ET

PHI TE Dallas Goedert activated from COVID-19 list

After missing the Eagles Thursday Night game due to COVID-19, Goedert was activated back to the 53 man roster as the Eagles prepare to play the Las Vegas Raiders. After splitting time with Zach Ertz throughout the year, Goedert will now have his workload go up as Ertz was traded to Arizona last week. Goedert was limited in practice but should be all systems go and will be a viable DFS play now that his playing time and target projection have increased.

Samaje Perine

Cincinnati Bengals
10/21/21, 1:13 PM ET

CIN RB Samaje Perine activated from COVID-19 list to active roster

After missing the last game due to the COVID-19 list, Perine was activated back to the 53 man roster ahead of the Bengals’ divisional clash against the Baltimore Ravens. With Joe Mixon healthy and carrying the load, Perine simply shores up the depth for the team.

Teddy Bridgewater

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
10/21/21, 9:38 AM ET

DEN QB Teddy Bridgewater expected to start Thursday

Bridgewater has been dealing with a food and quad issue, but despite being questionable, he’s expected to start tonight against the Cleveland Browns. If he were to sit, Drew Lock would get the nod, but it appears that Bridgewater will be good to go.

Jarvis Landry

New Orleans Saints
10/21/21, 9:35 AM ET

CLE WR Jarvis Landry expected to be activated off IR and play Thursday; WR Odell Beckham Jr. facing "uphill battle" to play

The Browns look to be adding one receiver back while losing one ahead of their TNF battle against the Denver Broncos. Landry is on track to be activated from I.R. today, and is likely to play after missing the last three games with his hip injury. As for OBJ, it appears he’s dealing with a “significant shoulder injury” and is facing an uphill battle to play tonight. With Landry coming back, it’s possible that Beckham gets the game off, but his status looks like it will be determined closer to game-time. The Browns are already without their starting QB; Mayfield will sit, while Case Keenum will get the start. The Browns are also without both Kareem Hunt and Nick Chubb, so they can’t rely on their usual RBs, and will have to rely on D’Ernest Johnson, Demetric Felton, and John Kelly. Assuming Landry plays, the Browns other wideouts would be Donovan Peoples-Jones, and a combination of Anthony Schwartz and Rashard Higgins.

Ameer Abdullah

Indianapolis Colts
10/20/21, 5:28 PM ET

RB Ameer Abdullah expected to be signed by the Carolina Panthers

Ameer Abdullah is expected to be signed by the Carolina Panthers in the coming days to help both the Carolina backfield without Christian McCaffrey and possibly as a returner with Alex Erickson currently in the concussion protocol. Abdullah would likely see much of the passing down work as it seems as though Coach Rhule doesn’t trust Hubbard in that role yet (previously Rodney Smith was in this role but he has since been released after his practice squad elevations were used up). Abdullah might not be signed by the Panthers in time for this weekend though due to COVID protocols.

A.J. Brown

Philadelphia Eagles
10/20/21, 5:38 PM ET

TEN WR A.J. Brown, WR Julio Jones, WR Chester Rogers, RB Jeremy McNichols, and K Randy Bullock DNP Wednesday

A.J. Brown, Julio Jones, Chester Rogers, Jeremy McNichols, and Randy Bullock all logged DNPs Wednesday after a hard fought victory on Monday against the Buffalo Bills. The Titans receiving corps remains banged up with Brown, Jones, and Rogers unable to practice due to injuries, depending on if any are ruled out Marcus Johnson and Josh Reynolds could become better plays. If Jeremy McNichols is unable to play this weekend Darrynton Evans could be activated from IR (currently designated for return) to backup Derrick Henry. This is an important situation to monitor as some receiver value could open up on the Titans if Brown and/or Jones were to be ruled out for Sunday when they are set to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in what could be a high scoring affair.
