SEA RB Chris Carson and QB Russell Wilson ruled out for Sunday
Chris Carson and Russell Wilson have been ruled out for Sunday when the Seahawks are set to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Chris Carson is still dealing with the neck injury that caused him to miss last week’s game and will once again be out this Sunday. In his absence Alex Collins handled the bulk of the running back snaps with both DeeJay Dallas and Travis Homer working in to relieve him. Collins becomes a good value option at running back. As expected, Russell Wilson has been ruled out paving the way for Geno Smith to start for the Seahawks. Smith looked alright in relief of Wilson last week and will have to be considered as an option on the Sunday night showdown slate.

Malik Taylor has been placed on the reserve/COVID list. Taylor is mostly a special teams player and his absence will not be DFS relevant when the Packers take on the Chicago Bears this Sunday
As reported by: Ryan WoodLAC WR Mike Williams listed as questionable for Sunday
Mike Williams has been listed as questionable for Sunday ahead of the Chargers’ matchup with the Baltimore Ravens. Williams was unable to practice this week and if he can’t suit up Sunday Keenan Allen would likely see even more targets than normal from Justin Herbert. Along with Allen, Jalen Guyton, Josh Palmer, and K.J. HIll would see their snaps and targets increase as well in what is expected to be a high scoring game.
As reported by: Fernando RamirezKCC WR Tyreek Hill listed questionable for Sunday; TE Blake Bell ruled out
Tyreek Hill has been listed as questionable for Sunday when the Chiefs are set to take on the Washington Football Team. If Hill were to miss a large share of targets would be up for grabs between Mecole Hardman, Demarcus Robinson, Byron Pringle, and Josh Gordon. Hardman and Travis Kelce will see a boost for sure but aside from that it is tough to predict where the rest of the Chiefs targets will go.
As reported by: Adam CaplanDEN RB Melvin Gordon listed questionable for Sunday
Melvin Gordon has been listed as questionable for Sunday when the Broncos are set to take on the Las Vegas Raiders. If Gordon were to miss Javonte Williams would lead the backfield and become a very good play for his price. Damarea Crockett would back him up but it will likely be the Javonte show on Sunday sans Gordon.
As reported by: Zac StevensHOU WR Danny Amendola and RB Rex Burkhead listed questionable for Sunday
Danny Amendola and Rex Burkhead have been listed as questionable for Sunday when the Texans are set to take on the Indianapolis Colts. Amendola will likely line up in the slot though if he is unable to go Chris Moore could play a larger role in the Texans’ passing game. If Burkhead is able to suit up he would join a crowded backfield with Mark Ingram, David Johnson, and Phillip Lindsay likely causing one of them to be a healthy scratch. It is tough to trust any member of the Texans offense at this point outside of Brandin Cooks and this will continue to be the case in Week 6.
As reported by: Houston Texans PR Other tagged players: Rex BurkheadDET TE T.J. Hockenson, RB D'Andre Swift, and RB Jamaal Williams listed questionable for Sunday
T.J. Hockenson, D’Andre Swift, and Jamaal Williams have all been listed as questionable for Sunday when the Lions are set to take on the Cincinatti Bengals. It seems as though all three will be able to suit up but if Hockenson was unable to go Darren Fells would likely see most of the tight end snaps with Shane Zylstra also available. If Williams or Swift were unable to go the other would become the clear cut lead back with Jermar Jefferson available to back them up.

Allen Robinson and Ryan Nall have been listed as questionable for Sunday and J.P. Holtz has been listed as out. Allen Robinson and Ryan Nall who are both questionable are expected to play Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. Darnell Mooney, who was not listed on injury report after logging DNPs earlier in the week, is also good to go and should play an important role in the passing game for the Bears. Damien William is not expected to play after testing positive for COVID yesterday. The backfield should be led by Khalil Herbert with Ryan Nall set to back him up. Herbert is a great value option this week.

Christian McCaffrey has been ruled out for Sunday when the Panthers are set to take on the Minnesota Vikings. McCaffrey will miss his third straight game meaning Chuba Hubbard is set to continue in the lead back role. Earlier this week Rodney Smith, who handled the bulk of the passing down work, was released so there is a bit of a question who takes on this role. Hubbard could potentially see his role expand or Royce Freeman or Spencer Brown could step in. Hubbard will remain a value option for at least one more week.

Rodrigo Blakenship has been ruled out Sunday and Michael Badgley is expected to be elevated from the practice squad to handle the kicking duties for the Colts when they take on the Houston Texans.
As reported by: Zac KeeferMIA WR DeVante Parker ruled out for Sunday
DeVante Parker has been ruled out for Sunday when the Dolphins are set to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. With Parker out Jaylen Waddle and Mike Gesicki should be Tua Tagovailoa’s top targets with Preston Williams and Albert Wilson also expected to see increased looks. Although Waddle didn’t make the most of Parker’s absence last week he should still be considered a top option for the showdown slate.
As reported by: Marcel Louis-JacquesMIN RB Dalvin Cook, WR Adam Thielen, WR Justin Jefferson not on injury report for Sunday; TE Ben Ellefson out
It looks like the Vikings will be close to full strength when they take on the Carolina Panthers this Sunday with Dalvin Cook, Adam Thielen, and Justin Jefferson not listed on the injury report. Thielen and Jefferson didn’t practice earlier in the week but will be good to go this weekend, and Dalvin Cook who missed last game was able to log a full practice earlier in the week which is a very encouraging sign for his health going forward. Ben Ellefson was ruled out but his absence should not have much DFS impact as he wasn’t expected to see very many snaps.
As reported by: Ben Goessling Other tagged players: Adam Thielen, Justin Jefferson, Ben EllefsonBAL WR Sammy Watkins listed out for Sunday
Sammy Watkins has been listed as out for Sunday when the Ravens are set to take on the Los Angeles Chargers. Lamar Jackson will be forced to rely on Marquise Brown and Mark Andrews as his top pass catchers though Devin Duvernay and the debuting Rashod Bateman should also see some targets. This is expected to be one of the highest scoring games on the slate with two elite offenses and should be targeted.
As reported by: Jeff ZrebiecWAS WR Curtis Samuel and WR Cam Sims ruled out for Sunday; WR Terry McLaurin and RB Antonio Gibson listed questionable
Curtis Samuel and Cam Sims have been ruled out for Sunday’s contest against the Kansas City Chiefs. Terry McLaurin and Antonio Gibson have been listed as questionable. The Washington Football Team will be thin at WR in a matchup where they are expected to need to throw the ball but McLaurin is expected to be able to suit up. He should be the top option in the passing game with Adam Humphries and Dyami Brown also available. McLaurin should be considered in most formats as he should see a hefty target share in a game that will likely require Taylor Heinicke to try to match the scoring output of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ offense.
As reported by: Sam Fortier Other tagged players: Cam Sims, Terry McLaurin, Antonio GibsonCLE RB Nick Chubb (calf) listed out for Sunday
Nick Chubb has been listed as out for Sunday when the Browns are set to take on the Arizona Cardinals. Kareem Hunt should lead the backfield with some combination of D’Ernest Johnson and Demetric Felton backing him up. Hunt looks like he should be a top play on the slate but it is worth noting that in the past with Chubb out Hunt has not made the most of his opportunities. Regardless, Hunt has to be considered based on expected workload in a game that looks like it could potentially be a shootout.
