Vernon Davis (Concussion) is Being Placed on Injured Reserve
Davis has been out since Week 4 with a concussion and the Redskins decided to shut him down for the year. He started the season with an incredible highlight reel 48-yard TD catch and run Week 1, but gained just 75 additional yards outside of that play in 4 games. Jeremy Sprinkle will continue as the Redskins’ top TE.

Both Jeffery and Howard were limited in practice all week and are listed as questionable for Sunday. Howard had not been cleared for contact as of Friday morning, so he seems closer to doubtful than questionable. Agholor did not practice all week yet is considered questionable. All three players need to be monitored as kickoff approaches Sunday.

Shepard has cleared the concussion protocol and is ready to return for his first action since Week 5. The Giants have said they don’t plan to restrict him once he returns. He should also get a boost in targets with Evan Engram ruled out.

As expected, JuJu Smith-Schuster has been ruled out for Sunday. Diontae Johnson and James Washington should be the top-2 WRs for the Steelers vs the Bengals. The Steelers are also without James Conner, meaning the Bengals’ defense won’t have to focus quite as heavily on the run game.

Walker is officially doubtful to play Sunday. Jonnu Smith has filled in well since Walker got hurt early Week 7, catching 16 of 21 targets for 190 yards and 1 TD over 4 games. Walker had been ineffective much of the season, and the Titans have no reason to bring him back at less than 100%.
